My little auto/fem Amnesia Kush - pretty little plant - won't yield a lot - was the smaller one of the trio I'm growing this year - smells sweet/divine - I'll give it another 2 weeks of flowering 💐 -

that´s still more bud than mine. But mine was indoor-window and really not getting enough light. I wish there was a strain which doesn´t require lots of light but that´s just wishful thinking ;)

I´m still holding my breath

BUT I do wonder (IF this really does happen) how other european countries will react and what will they do? Will they finally see some sense? or will they remain in the analy retentive dogmatic ages? Will they become more lenient or legalize it and be more generous?

We´ll see I guess :)

Should the rest of us stock up on seeds now, in case millions of germans buy them all up, lol :p

There are two parts of Laws planned:
- First part is the one i discussed earlyer with Homegrow (stupid low amounts allowed) and Socialclubs (many regulations for Socialclubs sadly, and Profitmargins are not allowed, so its highquality weed there).
This Part has a good Chance its getting trough and will start around 1.1.2024
Its also assumed that it doesent interfere with European Laws (or however thats called).

- The secound Part would be Shops, they mentioned the Shops shall not become a Goldmine for bigcompanies because loads of Bureaucracy.. So the Qulity there will also be acceptable, not the massproduced garbage like in USA shops (i hear). BUT those Shops are in general interfering with European Laws (yes there are Europen Laws wich say the european States shall fight the dangers of Cannbis "namely by prohibiting Cannbis") , so they will eventually be tested in ModellRegions who test it out for a limited Time, and then will be evaluated if they had positive impact.. This might happen, but its still unshure..
Only with positive impacts becoming visible, such as Youthprotection , it could act as a good Argument to convince European Law guys (excuse my englishskills), that its actually helping more to legalize the way we do it than simply prohibit it. And therefore is actually reaching the European laws GOALS better than Prohibition.

By prooving that we would have a Foot in the door for enforcing some Rethinking in Europen LAw guys heads. These Europen Law

A good question but don't hold your breath. On the other hand maybe it will boost German cannatourism.

I have always said that education is the best way to `protect´ youngsters and adults - not cannabis prohibition.
Those talks we were presented with back at school about possible side effects etc were okay in general I guess.

And I do think that any side effects should be pointed out to people who have no previous experience.

So this is where I would start: Teach people including teenagers how to handle it sensibly, finding the right dosage, possibly not mixing it with other substances/ meds etc.

This is what has been lacking from what I have read about the subject regarding the law change in germany - protection - the words teaching or education is not mentioned really.

Question is of course: who will do this job? 99.9% of people know nothing about it, lol

As the US policies are pretty much the model for the EU Commision and ongoing centralization towards Brussels, the German model will probably serve as a example for the EU.

Ofcourse some eastern European countries will reject this, but considering there is quite a lobby behind this so-called "legalisation" and the normalisation of cannabis in recent decades, I think on the longer turn you will see a global movement fowards commercialization of the cannabis market.

For sure it will make things easier, but not without a downside as pretty much everything that is big bussiness is corrupted one way or the other.

Well, you probably just didnt hear about it.
The Healthminister says: Quality of Weed will get better, thus less harm to smokers.
Legal Market will force bacl black market, hence with the plus18-regulation the kids get less Weed (so the plan).
He also launched a public Campagne the day he showed the relatively last Draft, standing infront of Wallpapers who state; "Legal but Risky" "legal but Anxiety", "legal but no brocolli".
Lol the "legal but no broccoli" is because an Anekdote by our previous Healtminister who was very Conservative..

It is getting interesting.
