Recieved!!!

Thanks John,

Figured out your screename last night, riding to go pick up the new Star Wars Trilogy DVD, listening to the radio, and damn if that first verse didn't catch me off guard! I was like holy shit, heard this song a million times, never put two and two together.
But one question, is why you chose to live on jump st. when you could buy a house on copperhead road!

Thanks for the G's

Copperhead Road (Steve Earle)

Well my name's John Lee Pettimore
Same as my daddy and his daddy before
You hardly ever saw Grandaddy down here
He only came to town about twice a year
He'd buy a hundred pounds of yeast and some copper line
Everybody knew that he made moonshine
Now the revenue man wanted Grandaddy bad
He headed up the holler with everything he had
It's before my time but I've been told
He never came back from Copperhead Road

Now Daddy ran the whiskey in a big block Dodge
Bought it at an auction at the Mason's Lodge
Johnson County Sheriff painted on the side
Just shot a coat of primer then he looked inside
Well him and my uncle tore that engine down
I still remember that rumblin' sound
Well the sheriff came around in the middle of the night
Heard mama cryin', knew something wasn't right
He was headed down to Knoxville with the weekly load
You could smell the whiskey burnin' down Copperhead Road

I volunteered for the Army on my birthday
They draft the white trash first,'round here anyway
I done two tours of duty in Vietnam
And I came home with a brand new plan
I take the seed from Colombia and Mexico
I plant it up the holler down Copperhead Road
Well the D.E.A.'s got a chopper in the air
I wake up screaming like I'm back over there
I learned a thing or two from ol' Charlie don't you know
You better stay away from Copperhead Road

Copperhead Road

Love that song, i grew up in a country pub which my parents ran. W would have bands now and again, and the very best band always used to close with that number, ahh, the memories.

Always nice to hear they made it :)

I think you guys will get a kick out of this stuff. This is a really potent Indica. It makes a good companion to C99,a jar full of each and you're set.

Yeah,Copperhead Road is a favorite of mine.Nothing better than a song with a story to tell. It's one of the only song I've ever heard with a direct refference to cultivation.

Thanks JLP. mine got here this morning. wow, that was fast.these r getting a room all of their own, sadly, one of the little travellers in my envelope this morning, was, smashed to smithereens, but this brave beans sacrifice will not be in vain, her siblings will live on, to grow, and maybe produce half bros ands sisters, lots of sisters, to remember the seed, that died. RIP squashed bean. rest in pieces. lol:D

OMG these beans r enormous, every package i get, the beans get bigger, these look like they r gonna produce some real beasts for my garden. thanks man. be lucky, harry:wave:

...sittin' on that sack of seeds....

...sittin' on that sack of seeds....

:D JLP: how 'bout "The Wildwood Weed" by Jim Stafford (i think)
course he cant hold a candle to Steve Earle, but still, its a funny song...yeah? For sure, Copperhead Road purty much lays it down; tho havin' seen Steve a few times since those days, he's probly lot more "Hardcore Troubador" than "Unrepentant". Keep up the good work! Peace bro. Ursa

JLP thank you very much for your contribution. I wil not forget. My dad is pumped too he has been talking about the need for something with more potency. We will be in touch in the future, as I would like to return the favor.

Got some G-13 beans that just popped soil. Only planted two, so let's how lucky I get. Seedlings look very nice. Let's see how much vigor they have :). Keep it green.

Take care!

1 of the 3 g13 just popped

1 of the 3 g13 just popped

Big beans were hard to germ but after 2 day soak i just decided to throw them in and 1 has popped. Looks like a strong tike.

really are some big beans. Reminds of Hindu Kush style seeds, real big, veined husks. hey JLP did some of the seeds have like a second shell forming on them? Just asking cause I had some Hindu Kush plants get pollinated and the seeds which came from them were all larger than normal and a few looked like they were growing a second shell. A hard ridge of shell along one side of the seeds, I could peel it off and a regular shell was under there. I do like the fat beans though makes me think that the calyx size of g-13 is large.

Yeah, the seeds are some real fatties.Let's hope they produce some fatty plants. The seed hulls are pretty tough and like I said, they may require some help shedding the hulls after germination.

Good luck.

JLP:)
