since the bust, i have been pulled over several times. every time the cop just happens to get behind me and then lights, never any tickets except for a fix it....

im sure the new license plate recognition system on there cars are alerting them to a potential marijuana grower....

No way, dude succesful mmj court cases are a good thing, and usually the cops back the fuck off. That is what happened to me. After the DA refused to file charges here, the pigs quit fucking with me.

They are just going to try to unnerve you as much as possible because they realized you outsmarted them.

Seriously man if you get paid after all is said and done,.. you are the true master and I guess this would prove why prop 19 doesn't need to pass.

Be sure to tell the Police to Log your stops...and write down Badge#, time of day, and car#-- Your Lawyer can use "Harassment" to your advantage on your Case--

While mine wasn't nearly as big, and they didn't search my primary residence, I still served 5 days in county before seeing a judge!

I got 18 mos probation, a wobbler, and 45 days Cal Trans...

We need to bring these bullshit cases into the light! My lawyer brought a reporter for LA weekly and was asking me a bunch of questions and THIS IS GOOD NEWS!

The more these shit storms get pushed into the spotlight, the less influence and power the pigs will have with the DA in their back pocket giving reach arounds...

Keep up the fight! I know I will, and until my probation is up I am going to be yelling and screaming and publicizing as much as possible...because I was legal! I was supposed to be protected from this very thing...or so says Prop 215

ya, i did. took me a week to get it after i got out of jail because of low on cash flow, cost almost $1000 to get it out......

i though they were going to put a 30 day hold, but i lucked out i guess....

the tow yard, i know the kat really well. he said the detectives came twice while my jeep was there to search it. guess they were pissed they found nothing with 8 people searching it!

the tow yard kat also looked out for my jeep, it has an extensive stereo system and he said it would of been stripped instantly at any tow yard, but he kept an eye on it for me....

A bit funny for me. They thought they had you nailed from the start and are obviously playing catch-up to try and cover their asses...lol. All those man hours and wasted time, energy and money. I got called for jury duty last week and sat there all day and really hit me how much is wasted over stupid little things sometimes. I mean like 100 people off work for a day getting paid nothing, the court staff overseeing the whole thing, etc. and it was a 'drug' case...lol. Just stupid.

watching this makes me realize that you guys only have a defense in court when shit goes down and i can argue Medical Necessity defense if i get caught here in Fla so there's not much difference between states for me regarding cultivation.

cali's so far ahead in some areas but the laws are lacking in protecting those covered under prop215.

Regardless of people's agreement or disagreement on the upcoming CA ballot referendum, it is simply RUDE, BAD MANNERS, and BAD FORM to say anything negative in a thread where a member has been busted and is looking for love and support.

Since the TOPIC here is that Krunch was busted and this is HIS thread about what HE is going through, anything other than discussion about this and specifically love and support and encouragement is OFF TOPIC and belongs elsewhere.

And no matter what he believes about anything, connecting his bust with his beliefs is just really wrong and it's frankly bad karma. Even if someone is your worst enemy, why would you wish them harm?? That's no way to live.

Hey Krunch, throwing some love your way. Things seemed to have turned out ok for me (felony dropped to expungable misdemeanor after 18 mos probation and $4000) Hope things turn out least as well for you.

My buddy was medi airlifted after blowing himself up making hash using the butane method. He is lucky to be alive. Not sure that he should have survived, but that's besides the point LOL

First of all let me say that I'm sorry to read of your misfortune. No-one should go through the upheaval and life changing experience that you are going to go through. This is just the beginning, prepare to be challenged each step of the way.

MillitantHippie and JacktheGrower are giving you some very good advice, heed them.

Everyone else:

This is an example of why we need to make Cannabis legal.
We need to remove all the gray areas so that no-one can be persecuted for this harmless plant. No law will be perfect, but we need to move the MMJ concept forward towards eventual full legalization.

However I also think that we are making a lot of progress toward legalizing marijuana, but that every time people go through the required steps to be compliant with the laws and then go soooooo far beyond legal it hurts everybody.

I had a bad car wreck a couple years ago and never touched pot before then. I started smoking before it was legal for medical use in my state but got legal as soon as the laws allowed me to. I am "always" inside the laws in my garden and in what I have in possession. It makes it even harder for legitimate growers/users every time somebody goes so far outside the laws while hiding behind the shield of MMJ.

It's been a few months since this thread started. Where are you at in the process? Is your attorney extending the dates? Hell took me almost a year for my DUI arraignment in Alameda Cnty.
