I both agree and disagree with you here krunch. The problem is paperwork. Last year I got robbed by CHP for a felonious amount of herb. You remember that. I had all the paperwork, I've shown to everyone here on icmag and guess what. NO FUCKING CHARGES FILED. It's about the paperwork and licensing. INTERNATIONAL TREATY requires licensing for schedule I drugs to be legally sold anywhere in the world. Basically without the paperwork there is no loophole to be able to beat a case by challenging the law as illegal/inapplicable. Really dude you shoulda listened to me bit more carefully on that stuff. Anytime I'm moving anything signifigant I keep Articles of Incorp, copy of city biz license, state sellers permit, and IRS stuff too.

The cops and DA's know it's legal now and it pisses them off, so they break the law by fucking with us and ignoring the law. Remember the bay area police routinely get away with murder. It's not just with marijuana but with all aspects of police that they do illegal things to send people to prison and ruin their lives. They create a crime rate to justify their salaries, the more felonies the more monies.

So yeah if you don't have your paperwork inline (know how to get it, and know your legal defense ahead of time) yeah thats when you have to pay out the ass for a lawyer and/or bribe fuckers like Richard Lee does.

this is y its a lot harder and you have to be a lot smarter to become a lawyer than a cop; luckily every d.a. that isn't a crusader is coming out in the bottom of their graduating class and is just hoping to pay off their student loans although in the bay it might be a bit different.... glad the law is on your side as it should be; make sure to file a complaint against the arresting officer internally with the police department; sounds like this guy needs a transfer to the bart division.... this whole incident should have started and stopped with a fixit ticket for a malfunctioning turn signal

I read this whole thread and the entire time I was wondering if you were going to sue after it was all over.

I hope it works out and you can at least get the money back you put into this. And more importantly nothing to restrict your future.

Hopefully you'll get a nice payday from all this. I've always felt that LEO would not change their approach unless they get hid hard in the pocketbook. I'm sure they're make money off of other busts so maybe not too hard for them to take a 'loss' in this instance...lol.

At least you can get some new sheets and maybe this time you will bump up the thread count...ha ha.
