Well folks...it was the best of times, it was the worst of times.

Its regularly 15 below at night where I live. Im pretty sure a pipe burst in the wall, its a mess in here and when I came in this morning it was 37 degrees...the heat failed. Im going to try to salvage this situation. This is what our training is all about.

But I think if it was not at freezing temps an only endured that cold for a brief time they should recover

Keep us posted

Thanks everyone. Its actually not looking nearly as bad as I thought. The thermometer said 37 but they were probably under the grow light for most of it, since it turns on at 5 am. I had to compost a 2 month old C99 and a Panama, plus two Malawi seedlings that got flooded in either very hot or very cold water. All my seedlings (sunflowers, Hawaiian Baby Woodrose, Khat, Ayahuasca, and plum, pear, and apricots were on a heat mat on the floor that got flooded. Its a miracle it didnt short out and burn my whole place down...guess its good I paid a little extra for a waterproof heat mat :woohoo:

If your room is that sketchy, you could maybe do a couple of cuttings and make clones... safe keeping in another growroom?

Since you have a female. Might it not be a good idea to make some feminized seeds? That way you can grow another female when you get a male from seed and can recreate the full genetic strain? Just a thought.

What a find.
Good luck.

Grandpa's happy now.
Saving the genetics was apparently important to him.

Hey now thats my house your talking about :)

I just moved into a brand new greenhouse this afternoon. I'll be repotting stuff for the next couple of days. I installed 3 1000w lights but I think I tripped a breaker cus they wont turn on. Heat works, everything else too. I have a giant grow tent inside there for flowering after the equinox.

Hey folks heres the latest update. Like I said I was able to save most of the grow. I moved to the new greenhouse two days ago, and this is a photo of the plants on their first night. Its not a GREAT setup, because the fans that cool the greenhouse come on for about 2-3 minutes at a time and the vents all open, which means that freezing air blows on the plants for a bit every so often. The GD is looking...alive...its leaves are all sort of droopy but its recovering from a stressful week.

The GD London 72 is the plant in the very center of this photograph.

Shes BEAUTIFUL Bear Riot! What a find! I havent seen leaves so pretty and perfect like that in a long time.
She's short and bushy with sativa dominant leaves it would seem. Definitly a hybrid of some sort.
I hope for the best. Imagine finding a Holy Grail pheno of a long lost Dead Head favorite?!?
OMG! I would be extremely excited if I were you. This could be epic! It looks so much different than the other strains huh?

MALES YE BE WARNED

inferior males will be ripped apart by beasts. Only the best males get access to females. Just like in the human world. HA HA HA HA HA

Thanks! She could be a hybrid, but who knows actually at this point. Every day I seem to think she is a little more sativa...so, I guess we should wait to see what type of bud structure she has. Shes just so droopy and sad looking though, definitely doesnt like the two minute blasts of cold air every so often. Neither would I.
