What a strange plant. As I said, I topped her a while back, and at first I didn't think she responded very well. She responded slowly, but ended up shooting out extremely productive branches horizontally, that have not grown up toward the light but instead extended out away from the main stem at a 90 degree angle, shooting up wild and unpredictable branches in a very close internode pattern. She is becoming more sativa every day.

@bear I really like the structure on that plant ..the branching is cool but I find that the leaf cupping is cooler

this is nice..though I think it's really silly some are questioning bear's credibility when he didn't even know what to make of 'GDL75' and the community conjured up the assumption it was from a concert, just my 2 cents, let the plants talk!

I was high once and pondering the structure of the palmate leaf. I had a squirt bottle and I was just lightly misting my plants and watching the water droplets as they collected and ran down the blades. It would seem that the 'cupping' that you are talking about is actually an adaptation, as the palmate leaf in general is, that channels water droplets and concentrates them closer in to the main stem and hence the root system. Many plants have morphological, structural adaptations that will concentrate rainwater closer to their main shoot/stem.

Thanks everyone, I repotted today in a 25 gallon container. Ive decided to let it go for the long haul, and keep her in veg until letting her flower naturally in the greenhouse next fall. I hope she gets to 17 feet tall, which is what my ceilings can handle.

The potting mix was a carefully measured blend of Foxfarm Ocean Forest, blood meal, fish bone meal, micronized Azomite, peat, perlite, vermiculite, inoculated biocharcoal, ag-lime, brown rice flower, and brown sugar. This mix, in the proper proportions, has proven itself consistently since I first began experimenting with it and other mixes using more conventional potted plants. The purpose of the brown rice flower and the brown sugar is to feed and thus increase microorganism populations within the soil. This fauna is of critical importance to the healthy development of a plant. It is estimated that the surface area of the fungi that coat a plants root system can be vastly greater than the surface area of its leaves. I tend to inoculate soil with a pinch of soil from another healthy plant or topsoil from outside just to kick start micro-populations.

Hope you'll all stick around to watch her get humungous.

I really like that structure too. Esp. the out-branching in the 3rd pic. Something about it says shes still pretty wild deep down inside.

I hope she turns out to be something special. Im in it for the long haul too.

Hermaphrodite?

Hermaphrodite?

Those look like hermaphrodites to me but good luck with them. Maybe you'll get some good seeds out of it:smokeit:

?

My sights not the greatest, but I dont see anything hermie in the pics. What tells you that?

Yeah, Im with her pretty constantly. I look her over every inch from top to bottom daily. I touch her softly and take in her wild smells... she caresses me and tells me its going to be ok. When she gets into my bed at night, she smells like a lady should.
