Lot of growth on the skunk!

The older ones have what i think are pre flowers, on the main stem, some white pistils pointing up, the side branches dont have any..

Day13 auto

So day 13 for my girl..

I dint notice any adverse effects by changing the spectrum and lowering the lux levels, she stretch a tiny bit between the 2nd and 3rd node.
The 2nd set didnt recover yet their normal shape and since this is an auto they may never become normal.
The new growth dont show anythibg bad i think, a good lime green in the newer growth and i notice it a bit as the older leafs grow, its interesting.
This is a great hobby, entertaining, mental stimulating.
The 3rd set has 5 fingers and the 4th and 5th too wich is a good sign.
On the day 15 im thinking on raising them to give them a little bit more powerfull light or changing to stronger lights and keep them in the same place, what you guys think?

Note to myself: in the next grow, start with only one 9w 65k sil at 30cm from them, and add up lights as the days go to compare to this grow.

My skunk looks like this, that internode spacing is what i would like to see in the auto one

On this one the new growth also looks good and healthy

That sounds like a good plan.

As far as when to add light, and how much, I don't really know. It might be strain specific too.

Doing it gradually is probably best though, giving her time to adjust.

My older girls look nice, i did some new straping and change the way they go, the pic are before the new straping
Lost in the jungle

This ones are after the redirection of them, i only can strap some branches. The other ones im afraid of doing shit so i let them grow as they want

The bigger one cannopy

The smaller one..this one is a bit stunted on that part because i accidentaly cut off one of the new born fan leafs..

Appart from that when i touch them i scent a sweet smell of weed mixed with the smell of the florest, its strange but it smells really nice
Peace

I want to do it to compare things
Its strain related too, but i want to see the differences..i cant do a side by side with 2 clones from the mother obviously, but should be different. She can start to put out a lof of growth suddenly, i dunno, but experimenting is good.

I figure that if the changes are gradual and spaced out in the timing, the older leaves will have time to adjust and maybe not show any signs of stress.

Try it!
But if you want my opinion you need a 4000k for the maximum node spacing.
6000k have too much blue.
2700k have too much red.
The plants grow under 2700k in veg are more squat than under 6000k.
The first thing i noticed on zeus is that plants are more node spaced.

2700k are squatier?
What spectrum did you choose on the zeus?3k?35k?4k?

4000k.

Under 4000k the plants don't grow as fast as the 2700k but they eat far less fertilizer and water, much more resistive to any kind of problem and they recovery very fast too.

The flowers have similar shape and density of the outdoor plants.

The clones roots not as fast as the 2700k.

Edit1
PS i feel that yours bigger plants are starting flowering

Huh...
My plant is stretching nicely under 5000 K lighting 95 cm above the plant.
I'm getting 8000 lux just above the plant (with my phone app.)
Shes 19 days old now.

I wonder how it would compare to using my 3500 K lighting coming in from the sides?

I'm figuring that if she got light from the side she'd be less inclined to stretch and want to fill out sideways?

I wonder what has more of an influence?

It's hard for me to do comparisons because I grow one plant at a time and change things every grow.

I have the option of adding some side lighting or switching to just the side lights.

What would you do if you wanted a tall skinny plant?

I'm figuring that if she gets too much light, she might stop growing tall and just fill in instead?

With too much light she start have problems. Don't care if the lights come from leds or hps.

Side lights are good for flowering.
Not too much for veg.
Lux, genetics, kelvin temperature and how much darkness they get is what give the plants node spacing.

Sorry i'm

Lol...

Thanks for your input.

Just for clarification, you said the phone app you compared to a proper light meter was reading 60%.

I'm going to assume that my phone app is inaccurate in the same direction (maybe by a different percentage, though).

So if my app reads 8000 lux, would my real lux be more or less?

Would I be under reading or over reading?

Yes they seem to starting flowering, the smell is a bit more intense day by day, but nothing that needs a carbon filter yet..plus everyone here like the smell of weed and hash kkkkk

No lool i don't know neither if my phone is precise neither your..
I've tested my phone with another phone not a real light meter.
I need to buy one. I think i light meter is more precise because the sensor have an dome upon it...in the phones the sensor is buried.

Oh, OK...

Well, I do have this thing...

Apparently it's dark in my closet. Lol

Here's what it reads outside. It's cloudy but bright out.

Here's what my phone app reads outside.
The same as what it is reading in the closet.

So, now I can accurately say that I have no idea how bright it is in my closet. Lol
