Camping wasn't just cool it got down to the low 40s at night. It was kinda misty all night until 10 in the morning. Overall I would trade hot for cold. It's been hot as shit t his last few days it hit 108 yesterday, my poor veggie garden is struggling in this heat, supposed to be 10 degrees cooler next week. I will have my car so I can get away and take care of business, I have been wanting to make some Rick Simpson oil, something I can take a few drops and be devastated. I made some brownies for Xmas last year, put 18 grams of kief in a pan of brownies and gave them to my better customers. Fuck were they good borderline psychedelic, a couple lightweights got to high. From my calculations they were about 500 mg per brownie. I have a 30 gallon tote full of outdoor trim that is too old to make anything but edibles.

As far as dogs go we have always had dogs now we have a purebred German Shepherd and a chocolate/ black lab. They are great dogs, they think they are lap dogs. They are extremely protective, they sleep at my wife's side of the bed, or in the boys room. I don't think anyone could get passed them if my wife and kids were in danger. We don't allow to many people around them, so they aren't so friendly to strangers. I do need to get them in obedience training, they listen as well as the kids do lol
Good afternoon Packerfan.

Wow 40's and damp is cold for camping. Was that weather predicted? I know some who winter camp here in the north but I think you need some special gear for that. Must have felt damn cold when you are use to temps in the 100's. I bet it's a challenge keeping your garden watered with those temps. The older I get the more the heat seems to drain my energy. I don't think I'd do well in the desert.
I've heard good things about that RSO. I haven't read about the process but I've heard it can be very potent. For some reason every time I see something about RSO I always think it could be called Richard Simmons oil, you know the fitness guru from the 80's. That guy always looked like he would benefit from chilling out and puffing a joint. My parents had some of his VHS tapes back in the day and even did the workouts.
Dogs are great. Most people are so intimidated by dogs that they don't even have to be unfriendly to be great at keeping the family safe. My dog is the biggest baby and wouldn't bite anyone but strangers don't know that and are weary of him. He is about 80 pounds and has the build of a thin Doberman but he is all black. As far as obedience I've gotten lucky the last couple dogs I got from the rescue were very well behaved. Dogs can tell right away I'm a push over and just want to love them which makes me a bad trainer. They know they can get away with allmost anything and take advantage of me.

I know what you mean Fiddy I thought I was through and done with it all,I haven't been in any kind of trouble for 35 years but when I was on paper I got my shit violated more times than a Hungarian hooker, just couldn't seem to get through it lol.All technical violations for dirty urines never actually broke the law on parole or probation

We had a feeling it was going to be cool, but i made the reservations a couple months ago. It was cold but we loadex up on blanket and sleeping bags. I live in a wierd climate we are almost 3000 ft but a desert so we get pretty cold in the winter and fall, and hot in the summer. Not cold like there in Wisconsin though. I love the cold I can't wait to get out of California. The campground was close to 6000 ft.I didn't mind the cold, just hang close to the campfire. Had to take a few lol smoke walks through the forest. At least when my aunt and grand ma were their. I ate a couple brownies while I was their to so I was sufficiently medicated. Beers and booze help to lol.

The pool was about 2 ft deep, cold as fuck but I still got in a little bit. My in laws are ok, my bro in law is a flake, and my mother in law is a controlling bitch but I can handle her in small doses, it's better if I am sedated. It sucks cause the bro in law can't handle his alcohol, so he's a douchbag when he drinks, his psycho girlfriend is worse. She drinks 2 beers and acts a fool all night.

My mom bought concert tickets for my wife's birthday last year, and my bro in law won tickets off the radio. We missed most of the concert keeping them from fighting, and I had to drive his girl home like an hour and a half. I smoked all their weed on the way home so I got my revenge sort of. The thing that pissed me off is they acted like it never happened. It was my wife's first concert. If I did something fucked up like that I would of tried to make it up to that person.

Yep that's how they keep so many people in the system. First they take your rights away. Then they set up all those hurdles and see how much they can make you jump. Meanwhile they are charging you weekly to be treated like a second class citizen. Fuck em. Holding a suspended sentence over you head the whole time. PO's wanting you to kiss their ass. Only in America...the land of the free.

Just gotta keep trucking and power through it. Next time they'll never take me alive hahahah LOL.

Good morning Packerfan.
Lots of blankets and sleeping bags for sure. Good sleeping weather if you can stay warm. I love that crisp air when the temps drop in fall and you get the fire going and can really use the heat from it. I get stoned and look at the flames dancing around for hours. So refreshing.

Yes I've heard that th desert is a place of extremes temp wise. Most think of hot when they think of desert but it gets cold quickly too. I'm guessing the farthest temp swings are in the desert on a clear day when its scorching hot in the day and super cold at night. Wih out the clouds to hold in the heat.

I'm sucks to be around someone who can't handle their alcohol. We all know the type and in fact there are several types of drunks. I can't stand people who get loud or aggressive when drinking. Life is too short to have to deal with someone who else's shit. It would be nice if they just didn't drink but they always do. I'm not a violent person and will always do about anything to avoid a fight but the aggressive drunk is impossible to reason with. The only couple of bar fights I've been in were with these type of pussies.

Good luck and I hope your in laws are on good behavior for the trip. You can't do much about them but going in with the best possible attitude and putting your best foot forward is your best bet. Maybe an iPod and some nois canceling earphones wouldn't hurt either hahaha.

Good morning pop_rocks.

Yep, I actually took the leftover pork and reheated in with lime juice and onion last night. I was out of cilantro but had the tortillas. Damn good tacos. I've been doing a good job of repurposing left overs into new meals latley. Not wasting food is a goal of mine, it's so disrespectful that an animal gives its life for food and so much gets waisted. I even have more respect for veggies these days too.

I still have to get my hands on some lard and learn how to make killer beans. Will start researching that soon. And the rice too. Maybe I should take a part time job at a Mexican place and see how they do it.

The autoflower seeds I popped for my friend are doing well but we haven't been able to to connect to get them into the ground. I have to get cracking on getting a few germinated for my bros yard too. Always plenty to do.

You mentioned doing a few outdoor this year. Any thing going on yet? Are you doing photoperiod plants?

I guess I'd better get back to work...lots to do here...Fiddy.

nothing worse than an angry drunk
i know its a free country, but some people should not be allowed to drink
some people cant handle their liquor, but that dosent mean you have to put up with their shit
/i remember the stories of the brother in law packfan' and you put up with your share for sure
when i was younger i had a real mean streak in me, but i was always a pleasant drunk
/actually, mrs Chicky says i get this glazed look and become really happy after a few drinks

ive thought of that too, fiddy
how cool would it be to work at a really good mexican place and learn all of thier secrets to good food?!?
that would totally be worth it
i am big on left overs too and usually plan two meals out
like if im grilling some chicken or beef, i usually think of what else i could do with the grilled meat
one meal would be the grilled chicken and the leftovers go for tacos or chicken salad
/or a toasted sandwich with fresh grilled chicken and some good provalone cheese
like you said, the goal is not to waste food

its funny you asked about my nest run, because i have a gang o' fresh seedlings just doing their thing
i will prob bring some to my buddies place this weekend and the rest i will grow out myself
i still have cuts of the "dog treats" too and plan on throwing them into flower in the next few weeks here
plus a care package just arrived the other day with what i hope will be some fire
/ the lights are off right now or i would snap a picture of the babies; maybe later tongiht

hey floridian

What is this dog treats you speak of?

No judgement here Floridian, takes balls to admit your faults. We all have things we should change. But most don't.

All this food talk is making me hungry. I am a frequent bbq'er. I grilled some awesome ribeye on father's day. I had s friend in Arizona who opened a Mexican restaurant, they spent 6 months crushing around Mexico trying to learn the cuisine, they were wildly successful when I moved back to California in 2001.

"dog treats" is the name i gave to these seeds i was sent by a friend here on in mag

so i just took to calling them "dog treats"
/little treats tossed to me
//wildly wags tail and rolls on back

we talk about food a lot here, ribeye is some good steak for sure!
/my favorite cut by far
i bet they had some good food at that mexican place
there are so many different regions and each one seems to do something different

Good morning pop_rocks.

I'm like you pop_rocks. I have a couple beers to relax in the evenings. When at a social event a couple help me to be more outgoing. But when I have a few I get happy and a little silly. And that glazed look you speak of is like when someone tells me that when drunk I get "that look" and it's like I look right through people.

I'd love to work part time at a Mexican restaurant. Maybe I could do that part time and be semi retired and grow a bunch of ganja or something. To learn how to get the beans right and the rice seasoned perfectly would be great. Wouldn't mind learning a little Spanish as well. There is a place not far from my house and when I go buy in the morning on the way to work sometimes thay aren't open yet but the kitchen is cooking up the meat for the day and it smells so good. I haven't been in a restaurant kitchen since I was a kid and had a job washing dishes.

I'm starting to plan what to do with the leftovers before I cook like you. My wife makes a great chicken salad and I can always give her leftover grilled chicken and have a great dish the next day. Beef and pork usually become tacos or stir fry the next day. I like you sandwich idea and love me some provolone cheese, in fact I love most cheeses. Kind of hard not to love cheese raised here in americas daryland.

Sounds like good stuff for your next run. It's always exciting to have new baby's. The autos I popped a coup,e weeks ago are starting to explode with growth. I have them in 4" pots and really should have them in the ground by now. Looks like they have to wait a few more days before we can get together to plant them. With autos it's best to have them settled into their final pots of the ground by the time they are this big. There isn't time to get them settled before they start flowering on you. Might hurt yield but we will see. Plenty of time do do a couple more rounds. Still gotta get cracking on the ones for my bro. I'm going to plant 3 seeds in each 12" pot and keep the best lady of them once they show sex. I've heard that the no transplant is best for autos.

@floridain. Hope things are ok bud. We all have issues and shortcomings. Being aware of your self and trying to be the best you can be is all we can do. You are doing a great job with your mom and should be proud of that. When you get through this maybe you can show me how to fish on the ocean. I've fished on the Great Lakes but never any saltwater.

@rodehazrd. I hope all is well. Im sure you are taking some time to reflect on your friendship and that's healthy. Anything I can do let me know.

Good morning Packerfan.

We've been giving pop_rocks a little bit of a hard time over the secrecy surrounding the dog treats. He's been dropping hints and if one were to put on their detective hat and really study his posts they might be able to guess where they came from hahaha LOL.

I'm a lover of outdoor cooking over coals as well. I have a coupe Webber kettles, a kamado that I can smoke on or even get up to 700 degrees for pizza, and a drum smoker made out of a 55 gallon barrel for smoking a bunch of food. Even when it's 20 below zero I'm out there grilling up burgers or smoking ribs.

Love me some ribeye. I think it's the richest steak and so buttery. Steaks or roast it's a real treat.

That trip around Mexico sounds great. I'd be down for sure. Like pop said there are so many regions and all have such diffrent flavors. Take mole sauce for instance, so many diffrent flavors. And don't forget the tequila, love a good tequila. I very time someone I know goes to Mexico I beg them to bring back the best tequila they can find.

that sounds like a good mexican place!
you can kind of tell the places that take the time to making things fresh every day
things like the tortillas and salsas, you can just taste the difference

im looking foreward to this next run
you are right, its always exciting to start a new seed!
you just never know what you will get and its fun to watch the plants grow
plus its been a while since i put some plants under the sun, so im excited about that too

have you guys selected the spots on her property that you want to grow?
if you cant get the plants into the ground, at least get the site prepped, like digging holes and stuff like that
whats the set up at your brothers going to look like?

Good morning pop_rocks.

Sorry for the slow replies and conversation latley. It's been really busy at work and I'm spending 10-11 hours a day here and just too exhausted to log on in the evenings. I usually have some time at work for the forum but the next couple months are going to be rough.

I feel lucky to have that place so close to me. It's not the best around but it is good. The whole south side of Milwaukee is full of really great Mexican restaurants. The south side use to be the place where the German, Polish, and Italian immigrants settled back when there were a lot of industrial manufacturing jobs here. During WW2 when all the working age men went off to war a lot of Mexican and other Latino immigrants took there place there. Since then the south side has been the Latino part of town. Great grocery stores and lots of great food. I'd bet that all regions of Mexico, plus many other regions of Latin America are well represented there.

I'm starting to look forward to a little break from the plants when I shut down in a month or so. It's pretty easy going now with just the one lady to take care of. Not enough time before and after work to enjoy them right now. I'm sure after a week or two I'll miss them and I'll be chomping at the bit to get some more going.

Not sure what I'm running next but I'm sure it's going to be a bodhi strain.

i haven't been able to connect with my friend to look at spots. In a few days we are going to get together and put them in the ground. I don't think it will take us long to find someway where there is plenty of sun and a little cover. For my bros yard it's just going to be in pots. He has a fully fenced yard and there is a place that gets plenty of sun from above but we let the weeds grow up around it for some cover.

Yep love the mole. The place close by has like 5 diffrent kinds. Some have coco in them and others have pumpkin seeds. Really diffrent flavors amongst them.

Is your ant able to get the ingredients to make it in texas? Man usually a secret recipe is ok to give a family member. Keep working on her and maybe she will cough it up.

I have been working on my aunt for years. I think it's just something in her head not a concrete recipie, lol. I have gotten pieces of it here and their. I just need to get in to it and experiment some. Kind of a bad time for the family right now, my uncle ( her ex husband) passed away about a month ago. My cousins are having a really hard time with it. My aunt's current husband just took a job and bought a house in Texas without telling her. She only had 10 days to prepare for it. My cousins are pissed at their step dad. Really shity the kids are all grown but they kinda need their mom, or at least some time .

A lot of people end up vacationing down here but I've never actually met anyone like from OG or icmag though the years.I've had a few telephone relationships over the years,Nothing would be cooler than to actually meet someone I've had a good online relationship with,Florida really can be pretty cool especially if it's not an everyday situation.Hell I'd love to fish the Yellow river in Wisconsin someday like I did when I was a troubled teenager lol.You never know maybe someday some of us might actually hookup.Stranger things have happened I'm sure lol!
