Paris, early 90's. A not so well-known Jamiroquai at the time stumbled up on stage, and the first thing he says in the mike is "could somebody hand me a joint?", and at least 200 hands stretched up towards him. Not the best concert ever, but the highest.

I haven't been to very many

my favourite would probably be Pearl Jam at the ACC last May. 'Sad' live was fucking awesome. Lots of people smoking dope too.

I can't believe I missed the Alice In Chains show in November. Ill never forgive myself

Live with support from Muse at the Brixton Academy about 4-5 years ago, or Rage Against the Machine at Reading festival 2001, some mad ginger manaic nearly knocked me out with his crazy punching dance.

Next to all my dead shows.. New Years eve with the dead 89/90

Red Hot Chillie Peppers, the Cramps and the weirdo's on New Years Eve, in San Francisco 90/91'.

Beastie Boys, House of Pain in San Jose 94 or 95..

Public Enemy with Anthrax in San Francisco 91' (oakland firestorm).

Alice in Chains opening for Ozzy (mid 90's)

Some of the best shows were with under ground bands at local venues. I've smoked out with the SuperSuckers a few times, been thanked on stage for my weed ;). I gave some dude some weed, Nash Kato from Urge Overkill, and smoked out with him.

i hear that,,

do you really enjoy ratdog?? imo phil is playing much better right now..

i saw a few phil & friend shows this summer, one in asheville and another in raleigh..both were amazing, and better than what ive heard bobbys band do..

but im interested to hear your side..

i was at both of those phil shows. 2nd row for asheville! phil's bands can jam but in my opinion they butcher the songs lyrically. the fall 05 tour with chris robinson was some of the sickest shit i have seen. that was amazing, everything since has been a little unimpressive. i still love phil and will travel wherever to see him however. :)

i even LOVE john scofield and asheville was decent to me. he tore it up when i saw him with mm&w recently, but i didnt like the turbo-effects he uses constantly in the dead-music setting.

ratdog is tight as hell and they have the turn-on-a-dime jamming i love. plus, i love bobby's playing these days, he really impresses me as a player these days. plus, i love the stronger than dirt part he plays at the end of eyes, the william tell bridge> the eleven, and the other goodies he has busted out. :) check out 11/11/06 for a kickass show, or 3/18/06! attics bust-out is always nice!

...but thats coming from a dude that was completely unimpressed with any 2004 phish. i saw a few summer shows and sold my coventry ticket to go see the dead. thank god!

i cant lurk on that shit, too much shit to sift through. i dont go on a phish board to hear someone talk about the hot chick they hooked up with last night. lol.

im much more of a dead guy myself, i went through a phish period but i just couldn't ever get too obsessed with a band that had silly song about lizards and shit.
