That's called a joke, I actually doubt that many pimps would wear mink, too hot.
One of the things that I always think is odd about the "Lets safe the animals" crowd is that their sense of personal responsabilty ends at their plates. You'll see them driving around in cars that pollute the earth, type out posts about evils on computers with rare metals that they get from rapping the Earth and talk on phones with batteries made in China that poison the rivers and give babies cancer. They feel pretty special though that they don't wear leather.
The bad part of this is I'm estimating half to three quarters of them will be dead withoin a month or so. Although that's good for the numerous small animals and birds these animals kill, it's still bad to see all of them die the way they are going to.....
Although I guess some of them will die more humanely than being gassed or however the farmers kills them....

Eating meat (due to the discovery of fire) was the reason that homosapiens evolved from their more primitive ancestors. Prior to fire/meat, man was primarily a vegetarian and due to a lack of protein, had a very small brain cavity. Shortly after discovering fire in the evolutionary chain, mans brain cavity increased substantially in size due to the significant added proteins from meat.
So, I wonder if generations of vegetarians will devolve into Cro-magnon man given enough time? Are their brains shrinking due to malnutrition?

First of, the brain cases of our immediate predecessors (Neanderthal) were larger than ours, not smaller.
Secondly, it's essential fatty acids that are "thought to be attributed (it's a theory) to the rapid brain mass growth of proto-humans, not proteins. And EFA's are found primarily in fish, not meat.
Third, no-one is going to be "devolving" into Cro-magnon man anytime soon, because we ARE Cro-magnon man....
