F##king stupid animal rights assholes

Now people think that it is inhumane to kill animals for food using the logic that "you can get all the nutrients from vegetables that you can meat, so killing animals is unnecessary"

That isn't the logic used for the animal rights case. The fact that you can meet all your dietary requirements by eating only vegetables is a supporting reason to go vegan though.

Intelligence isn't much of a criteria for deciding which animals we should eat or kill humanely. I'm sure most dolphins are smarter than Terry Schiavo was when she was a vegetable, yet no one considered eating her. Infants aren't rational either. Yet we don't eat them either. Arguing that we don't eat humans because they're members of our own species is a pretty poor argument.

Saying humans have some sort of 'intrinsic value' because we're humans, and animals don't have that same value, doesn't hold much water. That's like saying white people are better than black people because they're white. Philosophy dubs it 'speciesism.'

Philosophy isn't always practical. It's not always natural. It can't always be readily applied.

One of the things that I always think is odd about the "Lets safe the animals" crowd is that their sense of personal responsabilty ends at their plates. You'll see them driving around in cars that pollute the earth, type out posts about evils on computers with rare metals that they get from rapping the Earth and talk on phones with batteries made in China that poison the rivers and give babies cancer. They feel pretty special though that they don't wear leather.

nice straw man argument. btw its "responsibility," your false arguments combined with 3rd grade spelling errors is a text equivalent to a shit and piss sandwich.

I can't change the oil.

this thread is painful... japan freak, we get it, you are an idiot. no need to post 10000 times in one thread to get your point across. :moon:

Dude my wife is in the shower and dinner is on the stove, I got free time, I'd rather fill that free time with some intelligent or humorous conversation.

Somebody mentioned something about Japan being deforested or something earlier in the thread, turns out Japan has more forests by % than America. Either way both don't have a lot.

I give a fuck. Like many conversations threads can go in many directions, pretty natural for animal rights people to start bringing up fur, meat and nazis.

Those japanese motherfuckers don't care though, which is why we obliterated their asses with atomic bombs in WW2...attacking a parked naval base and killing 2,000+ Americans...cowards.

Hmmm.... not sure we (Allies) can justify bombing Japan, just because JF has different views to the rest of us.

War, imo, is never justified.

FYI - I have received intelligence saying he's not Japanese. And is just and American residing there.

The majority of UK Mink Farming is for export anyway! Personally I think we should ban it (and ketamine) and animal rights activists should focus on stopping it before it is permitted.

Agreed. I'm curious, from an educational perspective, how ketamine fits in here?

What you've high-lighted is important. Intelligence shouldn't provide an immunity. Maybe people are under this impression because in society today, people we deem as intelligent are favoured (in school, work, politics etc).

Until you shared your thoughts, I would have been tempted to use the intelligence argument against people like JF, now I will not. Thank you for the enlightenment.:tiphat:

I thought this thread was about releasing mink instead of if you do eat meat or not.Well i stopped eating red meat and i just feel fine with it.With pork the same.Yesterday there was an article on the internet that 60% of the slaughterhouses was contaminated with the MRSA-bacteria, so the risk is high that your meat is contaminated.

Perhaps some will say that organic meat is the answer but the problem is that the organic grown animals are slaughtered in the same slaughterhouse.

Back to the topic releasing mink into the wild is a fool thing to do.Those animals don't know how to survive in the wild, so they will die of hunger. What's cruelty about that.

Do we need fur.No there are better alternatives like Alpaca coats to keep you warm.

What a landslide this thread turned out to be.

I'm not vegetarian but love life and all living things.
We do have a food chain but just because we are at the top of it doesn't mean we have to use unnecessary torture to feed ourselves. There's supposed to be a natural balance of this food chain but humans have a way of interacting with nature and stripping her of everything for their own selfish greed.
It can be truly disgusting behaviour and most people that do this , know it but just don't care.
It seems like modern tehnology has surpassed our moral compass.
Some of us are more evolved than others but unfortunately we HAVE to share the same planet:wave:

meat and nazis.

It just dawned on me that the word "Nazi" sounds like "Not See" so in other words a nazi can'not see' :D

Damn I didnt know they slaughter organic meat in the same slaughter house as the regy meat, thats not organic, atleast not imo
Just glad i dont have to worry about meat giving me a cancer, that is just a chance not worth taking. Some one offered me steak the other day and I had to tell them "No I can't sir" in other words "No I don't want can't sir, I mean cancer":)
Especially when cattle are on the cattle'list I mean are the catylist ;) for causing mad cancers. :D

As for the mink its sucks on both sides of the fence, come on 2012!

All life is preicous from the snail to the whale and who are we to say which one should be eaten and shouldn't be? I'm really not understanding the attacking of one person because he doesn't act or think like you do.. Perhaps this is not the way he was brought up but hurdling insults at him is no way to make him understand your ideas or perspective as a matter of a fact it's quit childish and highshool like.. If you want someone to understand you then just say what you mean without all the insults about where they come from what does that have to do with anything?? peace out Headband707
