I just take the infused kief coconut oil and lecithin capsules and I dont' use anything topically. No more plaque psoriasis at all. Some minor psoriasis symptoms, but its just inverse ( red skin) and isn't really an issue. Have Vtama to use if short term outbreak, its pretty safe pharmaceutical, but use it only as need.

Have to try to take 2 capsules a day, one in the morning and one after lunch for best effectiveness I think. Also smoke here and there to help with terpenes and enterauge synergy effect.

May make some topical salve since have a bit of surplus with harvest.

Psoriasis (plaque) tends to flare up every 4-6 weeks, having been on the receiving end for 15 plus years, it's safe to say we have become well acquainted with one another..
Having tried every remedy/potion in the book plus all the canna infused oils/butter/tinctures, the psoriasis returned, matter of weeks or several at that.

It's a auto immune disorder at the end of the day, the best you can do is learn to manage it.
I found a change of lifestyle helps keep it at bay for me, it still flares up but not as bad, I use to get it from head to toe. I know it can become quite soul destroying, at present it's more contained to my legs and elbows, this doesn't bother me as I don't wear shorts that often. I use to get a lot on my back until I covered it up with a back piece tattoo.(was always my intentions to cover it up)

When my legs clear up this time I'm booked in with the tattooist for work on them..
I use to take steroids from my doctor when it was severe, literally nuke my whole body.
This completely eradicated all traces of psoriasis after 5 days, though it would always return several weeks after that however, plus using all the medicated creams and change of diets to cutting out all dairy products, didn't make a blind bit of difference. Homeopathic route/healers proved fruitless as well as spending a small fortune with a dermatologist (telling me what I already knew) dabbing goats milk on it certainly helped with the soothing and the want to not scratch the fuck out of yourself, havent tried drinking snakes blood are jumping over hot coals bollox naked..

Not knocking anybodies magic cures or views, this is my personal experience, the study and research give me something to do...

There use to be a really good thread on psoriasis moons back, maybe started by Elmer? Pretty sure he was aussie..

It helps to get your blood levels checked as well, might tell you something about yourself, and keep affected areas well moisturised, one part of management..

Soaking in hot water bath for a new minutes in the morning also helps. Get your rest and eat healthy. Yeah have to stay on a routine as much as possible and get your rest.

Exercise helps keep your body going, also plenty of water is important.

I take some supplements from Global Healing including high bioavailability liquid vitamins and high power antioxidants and iodine to maintain health. Prepare my own food from scratch including bread and eat everything as basic ingredients and less processed is better. Organic is recommended where possible.

Time with family and friends helps because it boosts immunity.

Time in the sun, more is better, the best vitamin D.

Prayer and meditation are critical. Keep anxiousness in check. I meditate on and study God's Word in the Holy Bible every morning and try to in the evening.

Certainly helps with the soothing process, adding seaweed is a massive beneficial.

Oats are fantastic as well, just fill a large sock or net sack with the oats and let it float in the water while soaking/bathing.

Seaweed bags can be bought in chemists/health stores if you can't access it yourself..

I used to use epsom salt every day, but found it dried my skin, I may use it to relieve muscle or joint soreness, but its not necessaray for psoriasis in my experience. Can be helpful sometimes if there is an outbreak.

Yes, there is no cure. So whatever you take will be a treatment. So whenever you stop taking it, the psoriasis will flare back up. Years ago i smoked weed daily, and it kept the psoriasis at bay. Stopped, and it came back and only got worse. Cannabisbis legal in Ohio now. So i can grow some. I really dont like getting high much anymore, so seeing if topically it would work.

Listen, the capsules are easy going, you don't really get high, but it can cause dry mouth sometimes. Its just a light body effect you really don't even notice. It lasts a long time, 6 hours. Try them out. Can use a different size capsule depending on the dose you want. Can always dilute. Size 00 capsules are recommended but some people use size 0.

Have a unique strain Sativa Candy chunk that has indica qualities but has unique terpenes and high potency. Get a strain that works well for daytime use. Hybrids work well.

Psoriasis makes you itch in places where the psoriasis doesn't really show up. The cannabis helps reduce it. Using oral/inhaled cannabis is a must in the treatment of psoriasis. Topical is just a band-aid relief, but ingested/inhaled helps treat the problem at its source. Causes of psoriasis may be digestive in origin is what I have heard from my doctor. I think that is true since the immune system is produced and regulated through the digestive system.

Therapy the digestive system with infused coconut oil capsules and take inhaled cannabis periodically as needed.

Just taking 2 capsules, one in the morning and one at lunch, but could incorporate a third in the evening if necessary.

I agree, need cannabis internally also. I believe digestive system has a lot to do with it. I took Skinesa, and it helped a little bit. Currently i am making sure i take enough fiber to keep the digestive clean. Just started eating raw (non-decarbed) cannabis. So hoping that works. Usually just put some buds and leaves mixed in with a salad. Will have to keep this thread updated with progress.

Best way is to decarb it because its not in an active form before its decarboxylated. Its THC acid which doesn't have the same effect. The coconut oil capsules are easy to do. Get some dry ice and bubblebags and make some kief or you can use bud dust, but it must be very very fine to be able to be taken up into the dropper to fill capsules.

Just made some yesterday and they are really easy to make. Very effective medicine for psoriasis. Makes your body feel comfortable. Helps reduce bloating.

Yeah diet is important. Cook your own food. I make vegetable chilli a lot with fresh whole wheat and hemp seed bread.

Have to get your exercise and have to get your rest.

Could go up to 3 capsules a day if you wanted to, thats the recommended regimen. I took my 2nd dose in the evening today instead of at lunch. May start doing that since psoriasis can flare up in the evening. Have to take it early enough so it doesn't keep you awake when you try to go to sleep.

I have been eating it raw for the past week. It does give a nice slight effect. Does make the body feel comfortable. I just can't eat decarbed because of the effects. I still have to be able to work.

The THC is what helps. Dose is everything, to do this you need to have a homoginized material such as kief infused coconut oil to make sure dose is correct. Also the fats help it to take up evenly and preserve the terpenes.

Taking on an empty stomach or before a meal may be better than after a meal to make sure cannabinoids take up.

I think if its not decarbed its wasting much of the THC because its not converted after decarboxylation to active form.

The coconut oil capsules don't even result in a psycoactive effect when dosed correctly, its more of a body effect and its difficult to detect except sometimes you have a dry mouth.

To benefit from the cannabis, a psoriasis patient needs to have a steady dose of THC in their system throughout the day, but when eaten, its not as psychoactive as inhaled. The over-stimulation effect of the THC is diminished and its effective medical treatment without the side effects.

Using kief infused coconut oil, the dose can be dialed in for the specific patient's needs. Using different sized capsules is the best way to modify dose. Also can measure using the eye dropper a specific volume.

The size 00 capsules I use are the recommended ones and they are 0.95 mL.

The capsules would be similar to gummies. So i would think they would have a similar effect. The big question is... can your body use the thca as much as thc? When i say use, i need to be specific for the effect i want, which is anti-inflammatory. I have read where raw has anti-imflammatory effects. I have been eating it for the past week. I can see a difference when used with topical oil. Beyond the skin. I hear more now, about the intestinal connection with psoriasis. So i am hoping eating the raw helps with th GI tract health. Will have to keep you updated.

Thanks for all the information you are sharing, and questions you are asking. Still so much research and experimenting to be done.

Took a third infused coconut oil capsule yesterday and it seemed to really help reduce itching and redness. Ingested is likely more effective than topical for psoriasis since cannabis helps mitigate the cause of psoriasis in different ares of the body.

Also reducing the amount of inhaled cannabis. Using inhaled cannabis sparringly throughout the day and relying more on the coconut oil capsules. Results in less overstimulation effect to reduce anxiousness. Coffee seems to really help with its health benefits. Inhaled cannabis is more useful late in the day.

How much kief do you put in each capsule? I just got a trim tray last night. I have some fellow growers near me. They have a wash setup to collect material for hash. I haven't eaten any in the past few days and cal tell. I was itching and scratching like crazy last night.

Not sure how much per capsule, it depends how much kief is used, I think its about 0.15 g from what I remember and the heavy dose ones are about 0.35g. BadKat had posted the amounts on their website.
