About 30 years ago, was homeless due to my addictions and not giving a shit about anybody including myself. Remember sleeping under parked cars or vacant buildings occasionally shelters (dirty smelly bug infested shit holes) when it was way to cold out -20C. Eventually straightened myself out, vowed never to let it happen again.

I been homeless in warm and cold ,city and country.but not in a long time..they both had there ups and downs...spent a summer in a tent on a dirt power line road in cape cod ..was fun actually..drove car to tent and conceal it and swam in lake to get clean...had a job but housing in the summer in cape cod can be expensive..i saved lots of cash and had fun actually.blew my extra cash on some awesome hash and beer..yeehaw

Was sorta homeless living from motel to motel and bankrupt after ex wife got the better end of the deal through divorce
she got 450,000 dollar house and i had to buy her out of my corporate company around 300,000 from there took 2 years off work spent corporate funds around 20,000 a month getting into the harder drugs whores and what have you ,
blew shit load one day woke up and said enough is enough, took remaining very little funds i had left purchased stocks from friend who knows there shit and 5 years later rebounded back to building a life where i want to be

My buddy actually prefers to be homeless.he stays in his friends shed when it gets too cold.yeah just like Bubbles,no joke.when it gets warm he sleeps in a cemetery, and fucking panhandles. made 50 dollars in twenty minutes this Christmas.he's a good friend but that kinda life isn't for me.

After high school i left home with a couple hundred dollars in my pocket,back pack and sleeping bag/one man tent, hitched across canada and down to California, slept under trees under bridges, under all kinds of things, Bummed around Santa Cruz{was fun waking up on the cliffs watching the surfers hit waves as the sun rises}, San Fran , sierra Nevada{kings canyon},Fresno, chico, eureka,arcata{some of the best weed till this day do not know what it was}. etc etc. Ended up back home almost a year and 4 months after i left with 500 bucks in my pocket, and a ton of life experiences of having to make due on my own, knowing zero no one. Had a ton of ups and downs, met some scary folks but for the most part just normal folks trying to get by in a crazy world this was all before the towers came down and the boarder became different......

I couch surfed and huslted my way out of crappy couch life.. I had the luck of having a good friends and meeting good folks. Saved enough and started buyjng grow equipment and now I support myself plus two and three dogs.

I got great camping gear to ever be uncomfortable homeless...does a tent count as a home ??? I even got a coleman portable water heater/shower...I would rather be homeless in the country than the city...lots to eat and spots to hide away and camp...fuck da city

Old Thread but new news to share.

I FINALLY got a job and it is actually doing what I do: Photography!!!
Just in time!!

I gave my plants and clones away first.
My apt is half boxed up but I left dismantling my grow room until last.
Now I can stay-not gonna be homeless after all.
Such good fucking news to me!!!!!

Started putting my lights back together and already have 20 seeds sprouting.
I swear this is a friggin' miracle.

Back to my steady grow with an improved room!!

i've been homeless a few times, but never slept on the street. I camped out in a state park for a couple weeks once and ive spent some time on my friends' couches and floors. I think sleeping on the street is basically for people who have no friends/family or money or support . i can't imagine every getting to that point.

Being homeless is not bad as long as you are happy with what is going on in your life.

thankfully now i have a chill house on 7 acres in yosemite and an apartment by the beach in santa cruz. but it's all fleeting anyway
