Economy seeds. the good, the bad and the ugly

Well the Mango is rolling into about 10 day of 12/12.


Some variation on phenotypes. Grows well. Easy to be exact. That's the good.

Now the ugly begins.

But lets see what yall make of this.

Picture suck but Im pretty sure I know what that is. Anyone else want to take a guess before IT gets the ax?

male to female ratio is much better on these, I wonder why?? HMMM

So far looks like 1 male 3 females and this one. Better keep my eyes open.

Gonna let it run for a little while just to see.

Update on the vision seeds,only one had split after 4 days in paper towels. This morning I put them all into soil because it's doing my head in when I keep checking them. If there is no sprouts by the end of the week I know they are non viable. I guess I should have known they would be a gamble as they were so cheap. I had them in a glass of water for 12hrs before I put into paper towels and after 12hrs only one had sunk to the bottom of glass. I guess the one that sank is the one that split. The free delahaze seed I got had a nice tap root in 3 days which was started at same time as the NL beans,so it's definitely an issue with the vision seeds. Needless to say I won't be buying anymore beans from vision seeds.

Thai phenotype or as we call he knuckles. Final dry weight just over 600 grams.

Not bad from a single plant with less than 30 days veg time. Maybe not top shelf meds but solid head stash for the personal user. Nice up high, decent taste, and PLENTY OF IT. 7 or 8 on the buzz. 1/2 a spiff and your good to go for 3 or 4 hours. Plenty of energy a little racey if overindulged. Taken at 63 days easy could have gone 72+.

Perfect for the bubble bag. Makes super nice hash, that cut right through a Dabb. So if your looking for something to fill your bubble bags cheap. HERE IT IS!

If anyone is interested The other Phenotype yielded average around 120 grams dried. had better bag appeal, more smell, taste and equal buzz.

That is very interesting. A sativa up high plant that yields great under lights, I think many growers would be interested. I like strains that don't have a stupifying potency. After getting used to my outdoor strains which aren't too far removed from landraces, I prefer the high of it compared to the dazzling high THC indoor varieties. It doesn't feel natural, by the time I get that allround good feeling I've overindulged in THC and get a mindfuck/couchlock which renders me unsociable and anxious.

Ya reckon that's a boy? HMMMM look right above them there BALLS and ya se that little white hair. Its got girly parts. UH OH that's about as ugly as it gets. Its easy to miss but its there.

Im sorry to hear that about vision. I would get them out of that paper towel as well. just pop them in the dirt and keep it moist. Not all seeds will pop in the first 48 to 72 hours. Sometime it can take weeks. Just pop in the dirt , keep them moist and wait for at least 3 weeks before you give up on them. I give mine a month to show before I chuck them. It took one of those mangos 14 days to show when the other came up after 3 or 4 days. Give them some time.

P.S. resist digging them up after you plant just to check its hard but resist.



sprinkl Whats going on?

brother if you are an outside grower I cant recommend the KC33 enough. They did well under light but outside These would turn into monsters. Take that 600 grams and triple it.

A nice sativa high in 9 weeks, 8 weeks on the smaller phenotype. Ya cant beat that. The high is one you can actually enjoy. Not anxious or racey. Has enough body just to relax you but not couch lock. Makes me relaxed and happy. Deals with anxiety well.

Not really sleepy time weed but wont keep you up all night. Best for conversation and social gatherings, where you don't really want to be catatonic.

Don't get me wrong this is not weak shit but not so potent that you cant enjoy a good spiff. A single J between 2 peps is perfect. You can talk and carry on compared to staring at each other dumbfounded. A few hits and your looking for something to do.

Old girl kicked out some head stash didn't she. Gonna run about half through the bubble bags. Makes some killer hash.

On to the Mango

As all can tell the Mango which at one time was KC's flagship strain has its issues. Out of 5 seeds, 3 females, 1 male and a He/She.

If you look close to those last 2 pics you can see both sex's showing along the meristem. Can any of yall see them?​

So if you decide to run any of these just be aware and keep an eye open.

All have grown well with little to complain about until now. Im going to let it ride for a few more days just to confirm but pretty damn sure of its nature so its days are numbered.

Lovely looking smoke from the 33. It will be on my list to buy and try. Leda Uno is the other from KC that I really want to try outside.

I figure it has little to do with the age of the line but rather its ancestry, the prevalence of that trait in the landrace cultivars from which it was bred.

Im not complaining.These can show up in any strain. I just want everyone to be aware of the possibility and that if you do run these keep a good eye out.


Unless some more show up I intend to let these run on out and see what develops.

Great to hear that vision stood behind there gear. That's the kind of things ya like to hear. Very cool of them to send some more. Used to be that ya paid your money and you took your chances.


For me everything is going along as scheduled. My cloner took a shit so have a little work do to it. Hopefully I will have a few clones of the mango to play with for a run or two.

Got the beans in hand for my next run.

Decided to step up my game a bit and go with some Bodhi gear.

Retail was $76 bucks a pack so I would consider theses a mid priced line.

Ill be running the Genius Thai extreme which is lemon thai X A11genius. These are 2 of my favorite strains paired up so should be fun.

These should be some electric sativas with a super lemon cleaner taste. Not sure how the Apollo will effect bud or plant structure of the LT. Not a lot of grow reports out there for these, so I guess we will just have to see.

Hi bigAI25 how is Aurora indica smoke? Share please smoke report. What is male to female ratio?
My current grow is two Maple leaf indica from Sensi 5 GBP per seed. One male and one female looks exactly same very stable plants. Two Nordle from Mr. Nice one male and one female 3.25 GBP per seed. Very stable IBL exactly same phenos smell like shit. One g13 widow from Mr.nice 2.25 GBP per seed she is female with great vigor very indi dominant and one Ak 47 for 8 GBP I can't say nothing for she because have some deficiencies but when I swithc for flower I will know more. For this price I can say is it worth.

Sorry to hear about the deficiencies in your Ak. She is a pretty hardy strain so I have confidence that she will pull out and reward you well.


Well as for me things are rolling right along. The 1 hermi was culled leaving me with 3 females from the Mango.

The 3 ladies give a good representation of the mango lines. ! being a KC 33 leaning Sativa with a large stretch, 1 is very Indica short, whit tight internode spacing and the last is very indica looking with slightly more stretch.

The single male from this group is a nice specimen with a very quick flowering time. 14 days from 12/12 he's is dropping love juice all over he place. Sativa leaning with a very quick finish time. This one may be worth holding on to for future experimentation.

Ill post yall up a few pics this evening.

They went straight into some water I had sat out for my back yard bubblegum plant. I'm gonna give them 12hrs in water then straight into soil. The paper towels method didn't work with with the first lot of these beans I received. Yeah the plans always been to do a grow diary as I've not seen any in English about vision northern lights.
