spider mite suck !!! have had them 3 times . 91% iso in a spray bottle & douche all your equpiment , tents pots trays scrubbers fans everything !!! I use Avid on my veg & new clones to kill them before they can reach flower , its systemic & will last in the plants for 45 days , so no good for flower ! but if the tent is bug free & the plants are bug free ..... them no worries come flowering time .

its alot of work keeping everything clean so bugs can't thrive in there , but its worth it in the long run !!! as far as strains ..... pop some seeds & do some pheno hunting . its about the best way to start .

Yeah they SUCK! The battle is on and I'm definitely winning. ISO sounds good. It's a big PITA to shake them completely. I've got it down to an occasional minor outbreak. The SNS209 is also systemic. It's good but not a total solution. I like it because it's certified organic. The new spray guns should leave no place unsprayed with less juice (SNS217 and Neem). Integrated Pest Management is the way to go.

I've been through a bunch of strains so far. I've got some of Chunky's seeds and a connection on some GG4 cuts, So that should be a good next step. Hopefully the seeds will germ. I'd like to check out other 'elites' just for my hardcore buddies.

Looks good Zeez have you pulled a harvest out of that tent yet? I'm dying to see what those lights can do... Weight wise..... How far have the bugs held you back? Hope you knock them back... Oh yea those are 315's right?

The way I've staggered the harvests, the bloom tent is always full. Emptying and doing a full clean out would definitely give me the edge on the bugs.

I like the CMH 315s allot. With a Kill-a-Watt they show about 350 watts consumed. About the same as a comparable LED. Best so far is seven zips. Several of these should do that. My focus starts with making allot of tops in the beginning and then shifts to trimming out all the dwarf and nonproductive branches. Like Dans, I only want good buds and want to trim the other crap off.

This Jilly Bean below is sitting on a 4' table. This is about three weeks in bloom and just before it got the big trim. The tops remaining are pretty hearty. The tent photo above shows it after the trim job. This beast should break my record.

Holy shit bro
Killing it
How long do u veg
Pot size
And medium?
How cool do those cmh run?

Thanks Man.

The veg tent gets backed up waiting on space in the bloom tent. Usually 8-10 weeks. They get topped allot to slow the growth. That's ok because the base stem gets stronger and can provide more support later on.

I use these Dutch Pots.

HP CC coco.

Pretty cool, I've had plants get within a couple inches of the bulbs with no bad effects.

whats been getting me worse than the heat is the humidity. my room hit 90 percent during that little bit of rain last week. so the scrubbers go out. walked outside one morning and it smelled like a sasquatch orgy in my driveway. no bueno.

Cover the floor with ice cubes, duh everyone knows that! Lol!! I kid, I kid. I imagine with room temps hitting the 90's guys are recycling the air in the room the tent is in. Two solutions to that problem. ...A.C. or vent the hot air entirely out of the room.

Pull up the carpet, cut a 6" hole in the floor and run ductwork to a basement window. After being scrubbed first of course. Those portable A.C.'s work ok. But ya gotta scrub the hot air exhaust on them to be safe. Another thing I used to do with them is buy 6" insulated duct work. Take the insulation off of some and put it over the hot air exhaust on the portable A.C., it makes a difference. I know from experience.
