nice pics and cool looking property, like how you've excavated the spot. makes me really wish i had more flat areas i could build a hoophouse on....

and also looks like you got a fair share of room there for a few dozen smarties....although if i had flat land like that i would skip smarties and go with trenches and mounds but thats just me...since yall already got the earthmover why not!

Appreciate the good mojo Yes4. Essentially the whole property is a hill, so this is just a small plot that already existed that we easily doubled in size. Next year will be full terraces, can not waitt. Very excited. Trust me, if we actually owned the earthmover, we wouldn't be doing smarties  Thankfully you can rent them for a pretty reasonable fee these days an do the work yourself. Buttt unfortunately there was other more important work that needed to be done in the allotted rental time. I would love to try beds, trenches, or mounds in the near future though. Sounds fun.

We have started brewing teas. Two feedings so far, and couldn't be happier. The girls seem to be reacting very positively.

For a few days now, I've been pullin tarp by myself. Not saying it's an easy task pulling a 65 footer by yourself, but it's much more doable than I originally thought. It can definitely be done. The trick is to do each end first, individually, get them taught, then work your way down the middle. I was pretty surprised.

Since the rolls of black plastic we bought were only 20' wide, we had to create this extra duct-taped flap on each one. Pretty easy solution, and with enough reinforcement and ease, is plenty sufficient. Till next time....:tiphat:

Bajan an Hobb, thanks guys, appreciate the nice words. Now granted our last full term was pretty much fucked, these nugs are already stackin on nicer than those did. So I'm pretty optimistic. But until we have a legit run, I set all my expectations super low.

GCG, Rome is a beast. Just a guess but probably 100-120 at 10 months. About double Axle's weight. Hopefully a lot more growing to do still though

Count on Rome growing until hes 2 and filling in until 3. How's axle doing, he was a fun dog to meet.

Heckk yaaa maybe he can surpass his grandpa at 240 :woohoo: He's doin awesome, loves it out here. They just go nonstop all day when they're together. Neighbor breeder can't believe how well the the pit is with Rome, neither being fixed. They're young though, would have been a lot different in a few months I'm sure when they're way more dominant.

I have a buddy that keeps 5 male pits that have balls in the same house where a female pit is kept unfixed. They stay in line, granted it takes some work, imo its all about the keeper.

I fully agree with you gcg. It's all about the keeper. It's about the way you communicate with your dog(s) and the work you put in.

Howdy folks ! Thankfully we didn't get hit too hard with that recent cold front, no real reaction from the ladies. Nugs are sizin up, kolas forming, and trichs filling in. Love this stage of growth where they really show their true colors. Hoop #3 is so disappointing I haven't even posted a pic in awhile, but will next time. Am still beyondd tempted to rip it all out and either replant and dep again, starting with girls even bigger than are in there now, flipping almost immediately, or to tear the whole thing down and have more room to prep for full term. Thoughts, Jbar? Will never, ever purchase another soil that I know nothing about. Lesson learned. Ugh.

Amnesia Haze. My lord, is this fucker a 90 day strain? Slower than the Sour. Would help to do a little research next time rather than throw anything we have in hoops together, lol.

So. I want to talk herms. What causes them? Is it stress alone? I've heard definite horror stories about the Cherry Pie herming out, and I'm experiencing it. Although not too bad. One, specifically, of 9, really fuckin thinks he's a male apparently. I'm assuming there's nothing I can do besides chop his balls off? I'm keepin a super close eye on all of them. Out of the other 8, half of them I've chopped a few off of. All from the lower, inner, garbage. Stress from lack of light? Should I maybe trim them up that much more? As is, when I give them my trim a few weeks into flower, I always almost feel like I do too much. Maybe it's not enough? Obviously some strains will be more susceptible than others, but is there anything other than stress that I can control? And what factors, besides light, and humidity, could produce enough stress for plants to want to herm?

And is a close eye enough? Would any of you just straight up chop it down an be done with it? If it was just the 1 I'd be more inclined to, but a few others have shown a few sacks too, and I've heard that they are fairly notorious for that. Would appreciate any advice on these hermaphroditic fucks
