Yesterday the Bills played Miami and anyone in this area knows the rivalry is strong. We save our best accoutrements for the game and yesterday I broke out Drumz salsa.

This salsa is right up my alley, perfect blend of sweet tomatoes and spice. I could tell immediately the home grown produce used was of excellent quality. Thoroughly enjoyed by all! Thank you Sir!

I would go halves with you on jarring that on large scale for sale dude. Can't buy that quality salsa.

Thanks so much LB…I do have to give a shout out to one of the older versions of “ The Ball Blue Book of Canning And Freezing” 32nd edition 1993 to be exact…simply for their ratio of sweet and hot peppers…
I have always relied on my own taste buds to come up with the heat (I seem to like it hotter than most) but my wife suggested I tone the heat down a few years ago…I tried to adjust on the fly and it didn’t work until last years batch when I took The Blue Book ratio into account and that made the final impact…This years salsa might be a pinch hotter because the jalapeños I used had a bit more heat and also not as thick as last years and that was due to the fact that I used a thinner tomato sauce( black krim tomatoes) from the previous year to add to the salsa…I usually use Amish Paste Tomatoes but didn’t have any left in the freezer…I really wanted my consistency to be similar to the Tostito’s brand thickness but not their taste

I finally pulled the string and yanked Triple P today...didn't really know what volume I had until I took off the supported 8 lower branches that were propped up with stakes and cut the remaining top down which was also missing the very top that broke away in 3 pieces while inspecting them last week (you can see the dryer buds in one of yhe pics...I hung a liter bottle of Tonic water for reference

Some pix I took today of all the gifted outs from Chunky...Cherry Pie is about done...might harvest the sour diesel a little early just for that extra energy buzz...and as Chunky stated the Wedding Cake is way behind the others...this stretch of summer like weather is definitely gonna push things along...

I took that micro sd card out of my phone to put pics on my desktop and it fell and I can't find it. really had a bunch of stuff on that card and I'm bummed but no salsa verde pics now... I'm hoovering up the 2022 salsa jars every night here, very yummy!!!

buds are looking good! maybe that big plant will be dry enough to puff when it's time to plant garlic??? hint hint....

After I checked and hung those 6 plants...my next objective was to fit my beds of garlic...I got about 2/3rds of straw raked out and got stung once and chased by another honey bee...so I said fuck this...gonna wait til after the rains to finish fitting and planting my cloves of garlic..

Still some afternoon left so my honey do list was next up...power wash the wife's she shed porch and railings...which had lots of bugs and shit and green mildew...lastly enough soap to power wash the wife's suv...done!!!

Chunky it looks like you'll be on deck for next week...once the rain stops of course

You can use Google Cloud for transferring large amounts of pics to your computer (if you have a non apple smartphone) or email yourself pics for smaller amounts (even if you just have a flip phone you can "text" pics to email) What I often do.

I have a fear of SD cards because I feel like they are designed to spontaneously dissappear. Things need a leash.
