Just took a clone from an autoflowering plant in the first week of flowering...incidentally, my first clone ever! The branch had just started putting out pistils and lots of bushy new growth. Fingers crossed over here.

That's what everyone thinks, but I've realized autos flower by maturity rather than time :) There's a guy on here whose autos didn't flower for three months because of low temps. I think they need six solid nodes before they flower.

Depending on who's seeds im growing will have a large factor if I take any cuts. Sometimes I get side blided by the quality of some phenos I find that im not expecting to find. This is when I take cuts from budding plants. I dont like to reveg much takes up allot more space for me..

Let us know what happens with it.

Will do, she looked good today and I think she'll root (even sans hormone). I'll take pics in about a week if she does take, and then update if she continues to veg before flowering. The mother is so vigorous, I'll gladly give the cutting its own Smartpot if it makes it.

I never thought I'd grow an auto or feminized seed, but my jars are empty and I need some smoke ASAP. Nothing else would be done as fast I don't think! Interestingly my tent is full of autos and a fem right now. lol

Exactly. I got a "Vintage 2006" freebie that came with an order of Apollo 13 BX......let me just say that little bitch turned out to be a 3-finger fan-leaf plant that stunk up the fucking neighborhood. The potency exceeded my expectations by miles........so I cloned that shit.

I've cloned plants right at harvest before. I didn't think it would work until I tried it the first time. I just took clones tonight of my new plants I'm harvesting over the next few days. Sensi Star, Mystic Gem, and some bag seeds that are supposed to be special. I'm excited to see how they'll turn out.

Big thumbs up to the O.P. i have done this before and find myself in the need of it again.I have a HSO blue dream I thought i had cloned only to find i didn't . I harvested the complete top of plant leaving around 30% bud and fan to re-veg But the bitch is taking up a lot of room in my veg chamber and screwing my system up.So I believe i will go try this as i have done it in the past with success

it works fine. Take a little longer. Change out the cloners water every 10 days. Thats what I do anyway. Keeps the cloner clean and cool. the water gets very warm after running for 10 days.

I root in 12/12 then pot up and switch to veg hours , missplaced this one which was left in flower , showing fresh growth and a flush of trichs.

Looking to be a cute but somewhat impracticle bonsai Purple Frostbite F2.

But its got fresh growth seperate from the original rootstock and thats the important thing , and will reveg reliably now if desired , oddball flavour on this one was worth saveing.

You root in 12/12? Just for flowers or all cuts? What is it in comparison to normal propagation hours?
