Bad picture, but you get the idea. Sis x PK. She maybe better than I initially thought. She'll need to cure up and once her resin is actually dry, we'll test her some more. This picture is doing her no justice, but she's really quite a beauty.

FWIW - I posted this picture of the spectrum of this light, because it was of particular interest to the conversation about the previous lights.

HGLED posted a picture of what looked like the xb140 - and the spectrum distribution, based on the light layout was:

red: 66.66% green: 22.22% blue: 11.11%
440,470,525,640,660,740

The Mars Hydro Pro II Epistar 160:
red: 61.3% green: 30.7% blue: 8%
440,460,630,660,730, 2700k-3000k

One of the differences, I noticed between the two is the usage of the 525nm green LED vs the usage of the white 2700-3000k LED.

That girl looks :hotbounce DF.. Your 100% right on using the Snow Monkey male on her.. The buds would be tighter with less or no fox tailing.. and you know it will have the GromDigi bubble head trichs

174g in jars from the Chem Sis x Topanga Pure Kush. Beyond thrilled.

That puts us at 414g for this cycle, with an easy 6-8 hanging to dry from the just harvested 84 day stupid beautiful purple Cobalt Haze.

Will be very close to the mythical 1.5# range for this cycle. That will make me officially a 1 gpw grower. In over 15 years of growing, I've honestly NEVER hit that mark of efficiency.

There are several factors that contribute to this and I'll list them in order.

1. EXPERIENCE - maybe I finally know what I'm doing
2. Spectrum - it matters much more than I realize - loving CMH
3. Soil - this new recipe I've created is crushing it
4. Root space - there is no substitute in soil for big roots
5. Humility - being willing to listen to the advice given by others

I'd say a combination of those 5 things are resulting in better production numbers than I've ever experienced before.

I appreciate all the time spent helping me in this thread. You all are great company. I look forward to another year together, here in the halls of D.A.N.K.

:respect:

Congrats on the light. I had almost bought the same model last year but the sales rep I was working w got sick for a few weeks and communication fell apart briefly. I went w another company but have generally always liked Mars and the rep I did work with was really sweet.

ABF Seeds Cobalt Haze @ 84 days

Before chop yesterday. That's an 18" cola. There are 3 of those in there. I have a 22oz Yeti tumbler - and it will not fit over the tops of these buds. THEY ARE FAT.

I'm actually going to wet trim the big colas and dry on racks so they don't mold.

While hanging to dry, but flipped 180 to view easier...

Beautiful, cobalt haze......cant wait to see what you think about them. DO you have to use a dehumidifier?? I was looking at one yesterday at Wal-Mart, if they'll let me layaway that thing so I can pay a few payments. It's hard to drop $250, and all guys know there wife's are gonna be like wtf that's expensive lol. But I'll be dialed in when I get a good dehumidifier running,

Hey buddy I had to wet trim almost my entire harvest outdoors last year to keep them from molding. I laid them out on screens like your saying. They turned out good too. I had to pull a outdoor plant yesterday that's getting moldy, it's only rained a lil for a day or so. But they'll mold from the morning dew around this humid fucking place. :tiphat:

Wow that Sis/PK killed it on yield especially on your first run with her.. You think this is as good as she gets or can the second round be better?

Frank , Frank , Frank …….Gotta show respect where it`s due my buddy......Wish I had scratch n sniff on them girls , that finished Chem Sis x TPK looks damn close to my old dialed in clone only Chem D nugs...aaaaah…..those were the days...…How friggin huge are those Cobalt Haze colas or what.....:peacock:

I got so sick of runnin weaksauce Euro strains that everyone loved but my old head ass back in the day that when I got her I killed everything and started over completely.....DTW coco with vertical SOG but I hadta move rotations to 10 weeks to accommodate Chem D`s ass and let her be all she could be.....and yeah.....

I had all the colorful shit that finished fast and purpled up with all the famous fruity smells n terps all the kiddies nowadays crave …...waaaay back then......Hell.....I still got Black Rose in the freezer from Heath Robinson I found in my barn freezer the other day , and I ran every pheno of that bitch there ever was and made a damn fortune off of yet still weaksauce compared to Chem genes ya know ?.....but I digress....

Happy Friday Frank...….In your spot SOG with increased plant numbers flipped faster would definitely give you more harveys per yr with fully rooted cuts maybe prevegged a couple weeks and damn sure yield accordingly with far less lollypoppin and underneath clearing out needed , but dialing how long to preveg and then flip to figure out where end of stretch is rules the day , and you really don`t have the room , or do you...

Air exchange twice per minute allowed me to not need CO2 supplements as well as keeping temps down most of the yr.....lung room had ac to pump in perfect environment cuz where I grew was 80-90 % RH yr round and my temps stayed a lil high lights on and off but RH made up for the environment bein a titch too hot.....regardless temps in the low-mid 80`s and far less than 10 degree variables lights off really allowed my plants to shine...….

Vanilla Phoenix`s description of where he lives and grows sounds closeta the conditions I dealt with and his nugs speak for themselves.....Hell....IIRC , you said you were now located in the belly of the beast Hell of the dirty south too right Frank ?......May God have mercy on your soul.....LOL......growin conditions are good tho…..:moon: …..aight....

Keep up the killer work Bro.....your list including humility and the ability to keep learning means everything DF.....My sig says it all.....Knowledge is power.....Adapt or perish......with that comes experience.....Hope I didn`t clog your thread DF....

Peace.....DHF....:ying: …...
