@AmericanGrower - it's a cool story on the Sis/NL seeds. I got a pack off Seedbay ASS FREEBIES...mind you. 5 seeds. Zoolander Chem D x NL. SWEET. Ran them instantly. Found a killer plant. Life happened. Years later, Greyskull reached into his stash and produced 20 of those seeds for me. Just an amazing act. Those are seeds that will need invitro, more than likely.
The plan this next round, is to make some Sis/PK x (GG4 x GROM/Digi) beans. Making a bunch of fresh seed to play with and practice invitro germination techs, essentially.
I expect the pairing of those two - is going to end up producing plants not too unlike the Triangle Mints line, in appearances. It'll be nice to dive into fresh seeds stock made from two seeds I've sprouted. Just seems more fun that way for some reason. Growing your own gear is...special. The "I made this factor" while you smoke it is a great vibe everyone should experience at least once. It's a bit more awe inspiring than the "I grew this factor".

@GOT BUD - This 9wk plants tastes just like a fruity NL. If you took a early 90s NL5/Haze plant and said, oh - look - here's a NL5 dom plant - that pretty much describes her to "T" - effect and all. It's really NOT bad smoke at all. It cures out really well too.
The 12wk - is something else entirely. It's a doughy metallic musty plum or something.

I can't get to her because the Chem Sis x PK is in the way. I can't wait to rectify that problem!!! LOL.

LOL.. I say it all the time. My biggest problem is I buy seeds and never pop them because I would rather pop mine. Tho my son's both said to me pop's why are you crosses always better then the plants from seeds we bought. I tell them just lucky.
Side note - Sis x NL - I'm not allowed to release any F2 lines or any pure lines. Once I found and praised the pheno I did - Zoo asked for time to work the line. In my mind, that time line never expires. He and I haven't talked in many years, unfortunately, and as far as I'm concerned a few of our last conversations, regardless how old, still stand.
You'll easily be able to find previous posts of me to quote saying - "the rules never change".

With the BKGK Bx1 release - Retardo Motabon and I had a falling out. It wasn't intentional on my part and I had all permissions from Phillthy to work his cut and all permissions from Retardo to tie the name and origin - there was a disconnect with intent - and I stepped on his toes, not even meaning to.
He stopped sharing and releasing seed because of me - and in many ways - I still carry that guilt. I robbed the world of his talent - and it was never intentional.
I really understand unintended consequences. I lost a mentor.
Before people start down the hypocrite path and start gathering their bushel of large, baseball sized rocks - there is a difference. Even though we never talk anymore, I'll still never release or share another BK x GK related or derived work.
Once he made it known to me I had crossed a line, it crushed me. I felt horrible and I apologized. I stopped everything I was doing. Too little. Too late.
I'm human enough to admit when and where I've been wrong - even if not intentional. That's the difference.

So, numbers are in on the last round. Not as good as I had hoped for. Really should have put in that second screen. REALLY should have vegged a bit longer and waited for thicker stems to develop. Lesson learned.
240g. 0.762 gpw. Quality is unrivaled, but that just isn't enough flower for 4 months of electricity costs. Granted, that is only half the room, but still.
Grower problems.

You and I harvested similar numbers from our last grows. Though your quality is WAY higher than mine was.

i got a similar amount, (i don't weigh anything but two gallon jars is roughly equal to 1/2lb.) and i had 17 plants...i would say you did well...twice as well as i.
admittedly i don't pay for electric so i worry less about that aspect.

That was 4 plants. 1/2 the room. 1 light. Still have 3 12wk cobalt and the 1 Sis/PK to harvest yet. I'm a perfectionist.

I'd be a fool not too. I see a lot of promise in reducing the stretch of this plant. The male, favoring GG4 / Chem Sis like he does, he makes an excellent pairing. Chem/OG x GG4 - lol - all that needs to be said.
The last 15 Snow Monkey seeds are what I'll germinate next though. I want to see a female from the line, regardless of having kept this male on the back burner because it's such a nice plant.
I expect pairing the two lines will produce something exciting. It will be done. Just because it can be.

When will we see more Stank Bros?
It took me over 3 years to find the Digi Bx1 male and I was running a bigger operation then than I am now. I wouldn't keep my fingers crossed.
Anything I make now, is for fun. If people are interested, after testing, it will be sent in to Real Gorilla Seeds as freebies, to be given out with purchases of old Seedbay/Seed Bou stock.
Idea being, if you buy the old stock, it helps Gypsy, but it may not germinate. So, to ensure something of value is still received...the freebie seeds cover the gap.

How are ya liking the flavors on the Pure Sistaaah? Most of mine have been very stretchy, and OG in nose & flavor, one pheno was particularly sweet & limey compared to the others. She’s the one I’m keeping for the moment, big foxtails like your last pic, but most of them have been stacked looser clusters for me anyways.

@ChDgM - The flavor on this pheno is outstanding. It's hard to describe. It taste like ECSD - if you take away, every trace of the sour and the diesel - and left just that spicy funky skunk note.
The structure is greatly impacted by too much heat and being too close to the lights. Although, the lowers did still tend to take that more spear tip to the calyxes.
Now - the not so good - I'm still not sold on her potency. She's good. It's actually, exactly like it looks. Classic stoner weed that'll make you add "maaaaaannnnn" to the end of every sentence for some uncanny reason.
She's not going anywhere anytime soon. But if potency is the goal. I think there is likely better phenos to be found in the line. Flavor wise though, it might be one of the best tasting cannabis plants I've ever had.

This Sis/PK - is not that kind of smoke. Not yet anyway. It's still just a tiny cheat nug I quick dried while trimming. I put it above the veg lights where all the heat moves upwards - just dry enough to break up by calyxes and burn.
This is a straight forward, non-complex, unapologetic - classic stone.

Although, she doesn't seem to have much ceiling to her. I'm only taking rips through glass. I imagine, in a sizeable joint, she might actually become quite potent. Abusive OG was that. I'll always remember thinking, oh, so abusive isn't good weed until you abuse it.
After the 3rd bowl. I'm actually quiet sedated. Yeah, she'll be sticking around for a couple rounds. Breathing is getting more labored, and I can feel my eyes falling into slits.
I think grown properly she could have some real potential, actually.
If the 9wk Cobalt 1st round vs 2nd round is any indication - the flowers look like an entirely different plant in the jar. If I can do the same with this Sis/PK, then we'll have a more serious conversation about her.
Until then...It's back to being disillusioned. And seed. Yeah. More seed. LOL.

There are 3 of these girls left in the flower room.They are insanely chunky. Massive flowers. When I manage to get a decent full room shot...LOL.
She's a perfect contender for a 12wk SOG plant that just crushes it in the numbers game. I'm worried, her colas are TOO big though. I'm hoping she's not full of rot.
