Hope all your jars will be overflowing come harvey Frank....looks like you`ll have enough ta get by on till next run.....always a learning curve with each new setup huh ?.....I`m still dickin around with my dirt grow and fightin ph drop after nutrient feeds even though I feed ph`d tapwater twice before I give em like maybe 600 ppms of juice.....

I know crazy right ?.....I`m bout ta go back to my ol tried and true coco dtw and be done with it even if I haveta waste juice I guess my yard and landscaping will benefit lol.........anyways....is there anything that will adjust ph in dirt other than lime and gypsum ?....IOW something faster to neutralize the medium and keep the poor lil plants growin ?....lol....aight...nuff wine with my cheese....

Good luck and take care Bro.....pullin for your projects.....

Peace....DHF....:ying:

Any carbonate form of calcium will provide a degree of pH adjustment. But you know, pH is not just about Ca/Mg - there are other things that factor in as well - such as potassium, hydrogen, different forms of soil nitrate, etc.

I'm really not sure how to fix something if your bottle feeding in addition to a soil that is already amended. (?) I used to run PBP soil and other additives in lime amended peat moss and perlite. I never ran into an issue with it unless the plants were root bound and then issues surfaced pretty quickly.

Tumbs (antacid) are a pure calcium carbonate too. Look at their label. Perhaps their quick dissolving nature works with soil?

I know we've talked in PM - I don't recall the specifics of your soil - and I keep my inbox more or less empty.

I appreciate the good vibes, Fred.

I started over with new dirt Frank but it was still compost and perlite with dolomite lime with the compost being .05 - .05 -.05.....after a week or so I noticed the seedlings leaves crinkling , twisting , and curling from certain ph drop and drift and have been stalled from me rinsing and trying to neutralize the madness lol.....I dunno….

Jus sayin.....I can root a damn rock , but growin with my local dirt in sacks ain`t workin out.....guess I`ll haveta order real shit like promix or fox farm ta get a decent Harvey....aight...

I`ll bother you in pm with all my new rants Bro....lol....

Thanks again for your patience with my old ass.....just never grew in dirt before and I`m missin somethin I guess....I`m right before sayin fuckit and wastin juice again with dtw coco but I don`t want to....

Peace....DHF.....:ying:

Oh. Here is another reason to support Med Tree Seeds - perhaps, in part, because they are the best at what they do. :respect:

Does Med Tree have his own shop???

I need to try cbd sometime. A few years ago I tried cbd in a pen but I don’t know... I’d like to try some flowers that are high in cbd to see what it does...!!!...

That would be AWSOME if you could find that high cbd plant that fits all the bills too...!!!...

I’m pulling for you bro...!!!...

Can always try water soluable calcium foliar. Crush up egg shells add into vinegar wait for bubbles to stop, strain, dilute then foliar KNF style.
Everything looking good Frank

Cobalt #1 @41 days - Chocolatey/motor oil/doughy on the resin. Straight vicks vapor rub on the stem rub. Interesting plant for sure. Glad I've got her backed up. She's going to be something wicked in the end. She certainly has that micro-cookie nug syndrome, but she is stacking all the same. The calyxes are staying small and tight, but tailing nicely. I still expect her to go purple before it's all said and done.

She's certainly 12wk+. I raised the lights to the ceiling last week and she began stretching a tad bit more again. She might actually be the unique haze influenced SOG plant I've been looking for.

Her sister is certainly looking nice. Much faster. More classic fat hybrid nug look to her flowers. Without question very blue dream influenced, and with that comes perhaps a lack of uniqueness. I sorted these to find something a bit more uncommon.

Cobalt #2 @42 days. She'll likely come down in 9wks. Sorry for the terrible pics. Doesn't do her any justice. This is the plant that had leaves which looked more like the SSH mom, but, is smelling like a slightly hazier blue dream.

I can take great pics. This camera on the other hand...

One of my favorite from the past of BKGK Bx1:

and then this one as well of Chem 3...

Those were just taken with a simple nikon point n shoot and a tripod. Set the camera to a timed flash so there is no shaking, and you can get pretty great pictures, using the right cameras. I generally don't like to pay more than $300 for a camera. Even a purchase like that stretches the budget these days.

@spaded - hey F.A.M. - yeah, she's the sleeper keeper. She's much frostier than she looks and she is stacking just like a cookie haze. She'll definitely take color as she finishes too. Hints of pink and purple have been in the calyxes since wk4 and it's increasing in prominence as she matures a bit. She'll be pretty - but not in anyway a typical type haze plant.

Looking amazing!!!!I wonder if this will be they type of plant I can expect to find in the Tropicana haze I started. It’s chem 91 x Tom hills haze x tropicana cookies. She looks like she’ll be chunky for sure.

@Prodigy - Not likely. That's a whole different beast. Whadeezlrg said his SSH leaned towards the NL side of the equation as well, so there is that to consider, when comparing something like SSH to a more true haze like THH, which, outcrosses could be in the 14-16wk range still. Where, 9-12wks, on a SSH outcross, being more common.

Then factor in the male - which is a whole mix of other things - which those parents are mixes of other things. The variations could be endless in a line like the Cobalt Haze. I was just looking for some good, frosty plants - from championship heritage, to find a quick keeper to mono-crop a round or two.

I would say of such highly crossed lines, you'll never find the same plant twice, so if you like it, you better have it backed up to keep it.

------------------------------

I've been showing the one side of the room and not the other. This is the CBD Hemp side of the room. 1 plant under 315w CMH. She's gotten pretty beastly, but she does have about 25-30 gallons of soil to spread her roots in, so that is almost like cheating. Soil beds do have their perks.

Med Tree Seeds - Suzy Q Bx2 @43 days - She can make some beefy flowers. She smells Piney. Floral. Green. She smelt greener before. I'm hoping as she matures, that will fade even more. That aside, she is producing resin. Not in the way a traditional THC drug type cultivar does, so, her fan leaves aren't oozing, but her calyxes do have a nice shimmer and sheen to them and as she matures, their is certainly more calyx than leaf. Her flowers, while firm, are not dense in the modern sense. She has a more sativa structure to her flower formation. Fine calyxes foxtailing on very fine/thin stems, to form large, looser flowers. I imagine when dried, they'll be quite elegant flowers with a old school look to them.

I'm curious to know how she'll test once finished. I'm going to guess 8-9% CBD and .15-.18% THC. Time will tell though.
