Female DC pollenation of top bud 22-10-2004
As the male pollen sacks are rippening, im using the fairy dust to pollenate the top cola of the DCFemme.
I simply cut the small stem that attatches the sack to the plant and gently shake it over the pistil location desired.
The new thing to learn on the grow journal list, will be storing the pollen and then transporting it...never done that before. Alot of paper folding.
There are more DC pollen sacks than i know what to do with. If anyone wants some via snail mail drop me a pm with safe addy.

The male DC has decided to throw some pistils about....male to female hermie? Does this mean it will pollenate also? Im not sure...never had a mtf before.
Its already shed several ripe pollen sacks that had no pistils at all...they are all taken care of and in the fridge ready to go.
But on the top cola's of the male there are pistils galore.,and a few balls that are red in colour, quite an eyefull under the old 10x loupe.

Thought i better check those bubbler clones since its been a week or so now..
The ones showing roots are great, but someone got stoned and forgot to label them at the time....hmmm terrible worker smoking on the job, see what happens.
Anyway, the two definate female clones that are still trying to root were taken during flower so im not expecting those to root for another week or two. If im lucky.
Seeing these test/unsexed clones work, gives me re-newed faith that if i can keep the temps right i might have a chance at making this tiny closet cloning system work!
Slowly getting there, thanks to the info of many resourcefull mj growers around the place who have taken the time to put together artciles.

sorry to hear you had a stoner moment with the clones there. Im sure the confirmed females will root just give them some time. Ive only rooted 2 clones from a flowering plant, and they took about a week longer to root then the ones Ive rooted from vegging plants.
what method of cloning are you using? looks like a bubblecloner. Thats what I use, I like them, nice and simple.

GLASS SPOON you bastard, ive wanted one for ages but just cant get them....Ive looked at ones on the net but its just not the same as in shop comparing....thats a really nice piece too.
At least they clones are rooting .... for the ones that got mixed up, I would throw them straight into 12/12, show sex, then straight back to 24/7....its a bit harsh but at least you'll work out which are girls in a week or 2.

That's a nice lil pipe you got there Leeroy! Better leave it in the drawer the next time you make clones .
My last and ultimate stoner gaff was that of trimming my plant last grow..which would have been a normal experience had I not forgotten to separate the one seeded bud from the rest...the result was 6 mason jars chock full of buds and no idea which one was the seeded one (she wasn't heavily seeded)...anyway I'm down to the last two jars and she's still in there somewhere LOL ...been curing for four months and I can't for the life of me figure out which bud is the seeded one...guess I'll find out sooner or later

Man I love the wee glass pipe it's so cool and yes I agree that smoking with different gadgets (Is that the right word!) you get varying levels and degrees of Stone! I think a lot of it has to do with evaporation temps different materials cool and heat quicker then others?

I too was a traditional cloner using soil, maybe some rooting hormone from time to time, but i just wanted to try something different and this was perfect to test out my water fingers.
