De Blasio:". . . everyone should feel safe"

I can't give a statistic to risk for either side but I do think that people who can't protect themselves should be given priority to those who can.

I do think incidence for genetic gender confusion is less than it is for expression of sex crimes.

I don't have a problem with extending bathrooms to transgenders but I do have a problem with it extending to anyone who decides they identify with being a different gender.

What's the difference ?

Can I get woman owned business minority status and benefit that come with it because I identify with that gender?

"don't have a problem with extending bathrooms to transgenders but I do have a problem with it extending to anyone who decides they identify with being a different gender"

whats the difference?

I don't know what that is,
is that some sort of tax thing?

Are women a minority?

I find this so ironic considering the orthodox, Hasidim and Sephardic communities here shun their own kids from the community if they are gay.

What's ironic is that you obviously have no idea what you are talking about...

"orthodox, Hasidim and Sephardic..."

What's the difference again? LOL....wow just wow...

To be clear, being orthodox or hassidic or sephardic are not mutually exclusive things, you can be an orthodox hasidic sephardic jew. Get it?

I know blue eyed, blonde atheist Canadians that shun away their kids if they happen to be gay, how ironic? Shit, weird's "smarts" is contagious or something...

anyone still equipped with a dick needs to use the freakin' mens room.

oh, and science has something to say about this topic very loudly in the field of genetics, a Y chromosome is a hard thing to get around, despite the surgery and the mental illness.

if i identify as a duck, that doesn't mean i can fly, it means i'm delusional.

Here they are, the Saphardics call the Hasidics "black coats" and the European Orthadox Judbs, behind their backs. They joke about the subtle differences in the laws their individual rabbis interpret.

The European jews, conservative and orthodox, have the least negative to say about the others, and while the Hasidics are more stringent on their interpretation of the law, they seem far more open to discussing God with those with who show a true sign of respect if not "righteousness" in regards to his laws.

I have also met plenty of Israelis who observe some of the high holidays to preserve face in the community because reality is they don't believe in God at all, but they still believe that killing Palestinians in his name is Kosher.

I am a little closer to those communities than you might think, I even know the shit that goes on behind closed doors.

I see you didn't deny shunning, because you can't. Now why not tell me if its ok for an adult male Jew from another family to touch a female child and if it is the same for all interpretations of Judaism. I know for a fact, it is not "kosher" in certain factions here, thus my waiting for lawsuits.

you don't post because if you answered my questions point for point it would prove me right.

Not all Orthodox are the same, you know it but didn't think I did.

I do, not only because I spent close to 20 years working closely with a few Saphardic families, but I also provide services for some of the local temple, one of my close friends is the president of a very large and progressive Jewish center. You don't have an exclusive on Judaism because your in Isreal or a Jew. In fact I found most people who are part of those communities are more superficial to others in those communities so they don't get seen in an unfavorable light, they are less reserved with me because I don't judge them.

You'll scoff and say bullshit because it is now your go to tool, where intellect an honesty are the ones you should be embracing.

Just seems like another case of "get as offended as you like" reactionism to me. I'm going to choose "not so much" for myself. Most women will tell you that the women's bathroom is more foul than you could ever imagine, so good luck to any perverts trying to get off in a public New York bathroom. As far as I can tell, all the supposed gateway perversions this could lead to are still illegal offenses, and the idea that gender-specific public bathrooms are the last thing holding back armies of pedos sounds slightly ridiculous to me.....the world's bathroom pervs up to this point haven't exactly been perturbed by the signs on the door, and I don't think there's an army of otherwise pent up sex-fiends just waiting for legislation which will allow them to get off in a gross-ass public bathroom.

To be frank, I probably wouldn't feel comfortable with a woman/trans-gendered-folk next to me at the urinal...but I'm not comfortable with 99% of the dudes who want to stand next to me at the public urinal either. As far as I'm concerned they could have one unisex bathroom if they just made the stalls nicer/more private. It's a public bathroom, not a religious sanctuary, it's already gross, weird and uncomfortable and some place a kid shouldn't spend his afternoon alone.
