well the moon does have thousands of tons of helium 3
this moon mined dust will deliver all the clean power the world needs for like a 500-1,000 years i believe-enough time to perfect and efficienize other technologies-there are suffiecient quantities of water for oxygen creation as well as "rocket fuel" silly since rockets aren't the way of the future

Burt - How do you know there's water on the moon? Also, how are we going to get there to mine these things? The highest the space shuttle has ever been is 400 miles above earth and they had to bring it back down because of radiation.

I say the astronauts were idiots. NASA kills a monkey in space after only 9 days and has to bring it down early, and this is just two weeks before they launch for the moon in a completely untested landing module.

NASA built walls on a slope for astronauts to practice walking on a sloped surface on the moon, but didn't bother to test the lander at all....HMMMM.

Watch this video and tell me if this is a video of three guys who just accomplished THE most AMAZING feat mankind has ever dreamed up, or if these are guys under EXTREME duress because they are lying????

dawned on me how much he sounded like one of those religious puppets

post evidence against this is... well, there is no direct evidence.

You're right. The greatest exploration EVER by mankind and we just dumped it on it's ear as soon as we made it? People NEVER stopped climbing Mt. Everest. Christopher Columbus didn't just give up once he made it home from the new world. We just gave up because we won the race? Why spend millions of dollars on crashing probes if we can just land and take what samples we want? Why re-do so many of the experiments we were supposedly there to do in the first place?

I guess we should accept the simplicity of the idea it would be easier to film a moon landing from earth than it would be to fly all the way there and kill the astronauts in the deadly radiation.

Why would we send three HUMANS to the moon just TWO SHORT WEEKS after killing a monkey on a 20 day ride in space, cut short to 9 days after which the monkey dies? Are scientists that stupid that they would kill a monkey in just 9 days orbiting earth, and still send MEN to the moon 1/4 million miles away in a completely UNTESTED landing module? Then, we expect that this UNTESTED module would fly to the moon, separate, land, rocket from the surface, reconnect with the other module, and fly 1/4 million miles home without EVER testing it? That's one carnival ride I would NOT get on.
