NASA actually took too many photos of the moon during their visit. So many so that the astronauts didn't have time to blink because they had to take photos at such an alarming rate leaving absolutely no time to do ANYTHING else like set up the rover, let alone drive it all over like it's a baja!
It's cool though...China's satellite is now in orbit of the moon. I can't wait to hear the fruits of their research.

I'm curious. How is it those are visible with a decent telescope (which I have, and haven't seen them) yet we can't see the rover or lander which are physically much larger? These range devices are only the size of a suitcase.
They can NOT be seen with a simple telescope. It takes sophisticated equipment, or so they say....

Hmm...the beam comes back 20km wide, how can you be sure the "light" you receive back is actually the laser? It would lose so much intensity being spread out like that it's highly unlikely. A receiver on this end would likely have a VERY difficult time detecting a laser beam 20km wide amongst all the other light reflecting back to earth.
Anyway...even if these TINY little suckers are up there it does NOT prove conclusively that MAN walked on the moon. They could have MUCH easier sent these and had them parachute down on their own.

For people to say that the USA never landed on the moon just makes me lose a little more faith in humanity...
theres a whole lot of evidence that they did and very little that they didn't. A few digg posts, some conspiracy sites and a few crazy youtube videos aren't real evidence.
China are trying to get to the moon because they're the next superpower and want to prove their worth - if you can afford a lunar exploration program, the rest of the world knows you mean business. If they really want to impress me, get to mars - one up the Americans

Why is it that in the 60's we could make it to the moon in less than a decade, yet now, NASA can't get back on the moon till 2020? What are they stupid? What about the monkey that died just a week before the launch when they sent him into space for 9 days? Today's calculators have more computing power than all the appollo missions, yet we can't make it back up there for another 13 years?

The most damning piece of evidence is what they have not done, yes why have we not been back? Anyone? Any country, surely the other space programs would have landed on the moon. We should have a base there before we have a space station. 1969, I was not even born yet, and I am 35, wow, all I have seen is a bunch of shuttles explode and a few shots of the Canada Arm.
Hopefully the truth comes out before all the people involved in it die.
As for the original topic, I would love to see some evidence that we were actually there, before I believe they found alien artifacts on the moon.

After all the probes and all the MANNED trips to the moon, NASA doesn't have enough info about the radiation there? The new project is called Crater. Wtf? Same with water. Collected 40+ kilos of rocks, but yet they're going to crash a probe into the moon to sample for water? Wtf? You can act like it's all conjecture, that's fine.
