yeah,it's a funny old world...i think riding bikes until i'm ready to puke and can barely stand up is a good idea...but at least that has some logic behind it

I find when I get some good physical activity a few times a week. Where my whole body is engaged. My mind works a lot better. And for me some singletrack on my bike is my favorite way to do it. Without it the small stresses in life do a lot better at dragging me down. If I can get in some long rides I am more productive, I work harder on my garden, I am nicer to my family. And I think it is just plain fun.

As I get older I also find staying in decent shape requires far more maintenance. And I don't like not being able to do things at a level I used to be able to.

i don't own a car so i ride pretty much every day even if it's just doing normal stuff like getting groceries...i've had to slow things down after the last bad wreck, pretty sure i've reached my quota of concussions...so i keep it sane on the singletrack,it's still plenty of fun without doing anything too dumb

I wish I could go without a car. I am actually in need of replacing mine at the moment. Too many kids. Too much snow.

I have been lucky and don't crash very often. Still have a small scab on my shoulder from the last tree that jumped in front of me. But that barely slowed me down. I have definitely aged enough that jumps and obstacles that would have never phased me a few years ago definitely are intimidating.

single,no kids, and work at home makes it easy for me to get away with no car...that said i did get two bales of medium delivered today because i was too lazy to haul them home one at a time in the trailer

i'm lucky enough to live somewhere where's theres literally tens of thousands of acres of public land within a half hour ride from the front door...and hundreds of miles of dirt roads of various quality that are plenty spicy enough in their own way....and year round riding, the only thing that changes is spare layers in the winter and extra water in the summer...getting high and riding bikes in the desert is pretty much the shit!:tumbleweed:

Who determines the truth. This clearly depends on each situation. Some truths are up for dispute. And people can agree to disagree. Other truths have been proven by science and peer reviewed and can be lab tested and proven again and again. Others have been captured on video or audio and are there for anyone to see.

The better question is why? Once something is obviously proven as a truth are some people so attached to their false beliefs that the will waste so much time and effort arguing with others and trying to spread misinformation?

I remember arguing with people about weapons of mass destruction. I got a bunch of "you don't trust technology, the experts, the military or our intelligence". Got called a traitor many of times because of it.

I have learned to question everything, not trust experts on anything. I believe science is corrupted, and I believe there is a utter motive regarding Covid that has a lot to do with fear, power, control, and money... Just like the weapons of mass destruction that people once considered factual.

Goalpost moving 101.....

Trump IS guilty of exposing the corruption and crimes of the Globalist Cabal. He's just terrible for doing that isn't he......

No one better rewarded that corruption.
His administration gave the Globalisation Crew the largest amount of money this country has parted with...

When it came to military budgets and upgrading nukes, he was every bit as compliant as President Obama...

So there is no truth because you believed a lie once. Yet you follow trump. Whatever.

This isn't the first time you got one of my posts ass backwards, I suggest you work on your reading comprehension skills. If you reread my post I was obviously skeptical about the WMD conspiracy theory. Let me break that down for you, I didn't believe there was weapons of mass destruction. :smoker:

So that ties in with the vaccine how? The last Republican in office told us covid would simply vanish. You bought into that crap. Now you’re ready for a war with China. Maybe send someone’s kid in your place. You’re all over the place.

Awesome. Your presence is an insult to the intelligence of anyone who reads your posts.

You go Farmer :) :groupwave: I blocked him in the 1st 1.5hrs after he showed up! I peak every now and again and come to realize that my instincts were on the money. :dance013:

It does seem the consensus is... a la Ray Charles :)

I blocked him yesterday. Not sure why his posts are still showing.

I'm actually surprised that the people who actually agree with him haven't pointed out he is not helping them one bit either.

Until Biden and Pelosi you mean with their trillions for Covid. And BTW the State of Illinois' would like to thank the US taxpayers for bailing out their broke unemployment and pension funds. But now our Gov has asked for more time to pay back the loans and to waive the interest.

And that’s the crux of all your problems.

The fact that you think truth is malleable demonstrates what is wrong with you. You are literally incapable of accepting reality if reality doesn't agree with whatever moronic propaganda you've chosen to believe.

You'll swallow any stupidity that suits you without question, but won't accept peer reviewed science, you won't accept the sworn testimony of endless witnesses or legal decisions by respected judges and justices.

I await your ad hominem and/or butwhatabout.(Psych- I won't see it because you are the latest to be cast into the pit of Ignored Ignorant)

So when new discoveries are made in science then the truth does not change? When coverups are exposed then truth does not change?

Truth is the realm of those that control information and communication.

It is easy to see if you compare search results between Google and one that is not so heavily censored. But Google still controls the flow of what appears online in some ways. Another place is Twitter or FB. The argument is they are private companies that let you use their service as long as you let them share your data. But they control what data can be shared.

Twitter banning the inventor of the mRNA vaccine is a glaring example. Who better to tell the truth?
