Who determines the truth. This clearly depends on each situation. Some truths are up for dispute. And people can agree to disagree. Other truths have been proven by science and peer reviewed and can be lab tested and proven again and again. Others have been captured on video or audio and are there for anyone to see.
The better question is why? Once something is obviously proven as a truth are some people so attached to their false beliefs that the will waste so much time and effort arguing with others and trying to spread misinformation?

Well there are truths and then there is THE TRUTH. He who wins the wars writes the books. How many times over history has the bible been rewritten?

Don Jr. and Ivanka have apparently bought into the delusion festival at home; they somehow believe they have some sort of authority or legal basis to refuse to comply with the subpoenas they received re. a fraud investigation and the Trump Organization. (*Note that I wrote 'a', not 'the', as there seems to be a number of potential fraud investigations into the miscreant popping up).
Silly rabbits: they probably didn't possess such authority to refuse the power of a subpoena when their daddy was a poser who was actually sitting IN the Oval Office. They sure as hell don't have that privilege after daddy's been properly booted to the curb.
But I guess it's pretty easy to discern who it is that taught them about the law, executive privilege for non-executives, etc., etc.
