I pay attention, which is why i am deeply troubled by all of the xenophobic hostility towards Muslims, Mexicans and Chinese that we’ve witnessed the past few years. None of these groups are my enemy.
Also, you failed to explain how/why China is a bigger problem towards the US than Russia.
Russia attacks it’s neighbor with bombs and tanks. When has China attacked any foreign country?
Russia attacks our computer systems, interferes with our elections and continually spreads false propaganda.
Has China done these things? If they have, then djt kept it quiet.
Don’t get me wrong. The US and China have had an adversarial relationship for decades and our interests are sometimes at odds. But I have yet to see or read anything that would lead me to believe that China is a bigger problem for us than Russia.

She's very adamant and believable and she speaks English.

So nothing different to what she's been saying for ages. She had to flee to the US, and claims she cannot now go back. Also read claims that she had evidence? Where is it?
I find it hard to believe that the Chinese goverment created a virus as a weapon, that really only kills a small percentage of elderly people. It beggars belief that they would then deliberately release it, not into the enemy territory, the US, but into their own city, amongst their own citizens. Not only that, but in the very city where it was supposedly created? Talk about stupid. Can someone explain the logic?
I'm not military, but if I was creating a viral weapon, I would want something far more deadly, that maybe effected men of fighting age, not old people in nursing homes. I also wouldn't release it in my own country, in the same city where it was supposedly created.
Accidental lab leak is at least plausible, but there is still NO evidence of that so far. Deliberately released just makes no sense at all.

I'm sure China does have it's share of redeck, ruthles, heartless, corporatist sock-puppet representatives, however they went to a hell of a lot of trouble trying to contain the virus, and built hospitals to care for their citizens Apart from the usual saving face cover up we can expect from the Chinese initially, they certainly seemed to take measures to control it. If they wanted to let it rip through their population they certainly could have.
I still think it is a natural virus that came about through the wet market due to all the species there with close human contact. There sitll isn't any evidence that it came from a lab, and there are literally thousands of these type of viruses in the natural world. As humans have increased contact and encroach more on natural environments these viruses are inevitible. It's not like there aren't many examples of this happening.
There was a well publicised virus outbreak called the Hendra virus in Australia about 20 years ago. Went from bats to horses to people, and killed a well known horse trainer. Kills 60% of people it infects. The story was rehashed in our media the other week. Lucky the Chinese weren't working on this;

......... a trial balloon perhaps to see what it would do? Plausible deniability if the possible 'facts' ever got out? Could a certain percentage of their own citizens (elderly, weak, disabled) be expendable/collateral damage?
Maybe they didn't want to kill people but rather disrupt our/the world economy? What could be more 'deadly' than sitting back and watching as your enemy/competitor shuts down its own economy and then goes in to an inevitable recession/depression as your country buys up its resources on the cheap ?
Given the multi levels of security in the Wuhan lab it's highly unlikely that a lab leak was an accident. A 'crazed' lab worker or deliberate release is far more likely.
Remember the anthrax scare after 9/11, supposedly traced back to the USA lab and 'proven' to be released by lab worker Steven Hatfill, then the backtracking and once again 'proven' to be released by lab worker Bruce Ivins? Case closed after Ivins committed suicide. Well, not really as the proving was all based on pretzel logic at best. That case was never closed 'cause no one wanted to look any deeper or open that can of worms.
Also remember the initial purpose of these labs created in the 1950/60's was biowarfare/control and plenty of experiments were done on citizens right here in the good ole USA, until word got out.
Personally I believe the virus evolved naturally in the Wuhan bat population and it was an unfortunate synchronicity that it was located so closely to the lab where they just happened to be studying that very same virus - sh*t happens and God laughs, etc.

Unfortunately I can't get any of your links to open. However I did find this story put out by the hate Trump outfit CNN. It appears that there is a government program that allows this and the money is for investment purposes. Apparently the production of jobs in the US is a good enough incentive to maybe receive citizenship. Jared Kushner is not in on it personally but his sister is. Would I prefer a rich non CCP Chinese citizen willing to invest in the country over some possible criminal crossing our southern border? Yes I would.
