i heard it today on Morning Joe, msnbc, from Osterholm, that there are NO deaths due to vaccination - that 6700 number is an internet rumor.

According to a lawyer who is preparing a case are the deaths around 45000 in the US alone.

Meanwhile steroid ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER LASHES OUT AT ANTI-VAXXERS AGAIN, BUT THIS WILL COST HIM DEARLY.
He lost his contract with Redcon1.

As for this one? Your Dr Bhakdi sounds like a nutter.

FACT CHECKFact check: COVID-19 vaccines don’t cause death, won’t decimate world’s population

Daniel Funke
USA TODAY

The claim: Coronavirus vaccines are killing people and will decimate the world’s population

Several widely shared videos and blog posts on Facebook say the COVID-19 vaccines are a matter of life and death – but not because of the risk of the disease.

In an article published April 22 and later taken down, a website called Red Pill University (a reference to the baseless QAnon conspiracy theory) wrote that COVID-19 vaccines “will decimate world’s population.” As evidence, it cites a video featuring Dr. Sucharit Bhakdi.

Bhakdi is a microbiologist who has promoted ideas that run counter to the scientific consensus about the coronavirus pandemic, including the claim that face masks don’t protect against infection. In the video, which originally was published by the New American, a conservative magazine, Bhakdi says COVID-19 vaccines are deadly.

“They are forcing vaccination on people, and I believe they are killing people with this vaccination,” he says during the video, which has more than 268,000 views on Rumble, a video-sharing platform.

“Guys, don’t get a third or fourth or fifth (shot), because if you do that, you are going to contribute to the decimation of the world’s population,” he says later.

Over the course of the 40-minute clip, Bhakdi calls the pandemic “a fake,” says wearing masks and quarantining is “absolutely ridiculous nonsense,” and coronavirus tests don’t work. In this fact-check, we’re focusing on the claim that COVID-19 vaccines are killing people.

That claim sounds scary coming from a scientist, but it's not accurate.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved three coronavirus vaccines for emergency use in the United States. Clinical trials involving tens of thousands of participants found the vaccines were safe and effective at preventing coronavirus infection, and millions of Americans have safely received them.

Fact or fiction? Find out the truth about news stories you see online.

There’s no evidence the vaccines cause death, or that they will depopulate the planet – and clear evidence to the contrary.

USA TODAY reached out to Red Pill University and the New American for comment.
Coronavirus vaccines are safe, effective

The three COVID-19 vaccines approved for emergency use in the U.S. are one from Pfizer-BioNTech, one from Moderna and one from Janssen, a pharmaceutical company owned by Johnson & Johnson. Public health officials say all are safe and effective at preventing COVID-19.

Over the course of several months in 2020, more than 100,000 people participated in clinical trials for the coronavirus vaccines as a group. None of those trials found that the vaccines caused death. The FDA approved the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines in December and the Johnson & Johnson’s vaccine in February.

Fact check:No, interacting with a vaccinated person won't cause miscarriage or menstrual changes

Since then, more than 144 million Americans have received at least one vaccine dose, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

If the vaccines were as deadly as Bhakdi says, we would surely see widespread and mounting deaths in the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS), a federally managed database of self-reported vaccine side effects. There are reports of vaccine-related deaths in the VAERS database, but because anyone – from doctors and nurses to patients and parents – can submit cases, the CDC says those reports are unverified and may be inaccurate.

Fact check:CDC data on adverse effects of vaccine cannot determine cause

“COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective,” the CDC says on its website. “To date, VAERS has not detected patterns in cause of death that would indicate a safety problem with COVID-19 vaccines.”
No evidence of autoimmune responses

Bhakdi says in the video that the vaccines can kill people by causing autoimmune responses. He says that’s because messenger RNA (mRNA) “packages” – genetic strands in the Pfizer and Moderna shots that tell your body how to defend itself against the coronavirus – don’t leave the bloodstream and could cause your immune system to attack healthy cells.

That’s wrong on both fronts.
eb34e792-8f8a-4297-81e8-1c84f9cea17b-Lipid_coating.png

Fact-checkers have repeatedly debunked the notion that COVID-19 vaccines cause autoimmune disorders. There is no evidence to suggest they do, and Bhakdi’s rationale for the claim – that mRNA never leaves the bloodstream – isn’t accurate. Here’s how it works:

When someone receives a vaccine from Pfizer or Moderna, mRNA strands program cells to produce spike proteins similar to those on the surface of the coronavirus. The body recognizes those proteins as invaders and produces antibodies to block them. Those antibodies prevent future coronavirus infections.

Once that process is completed, mRNA doesn’t linger in the bloodstream.

Fact check:FDA did not associate Pfizer's first vaccine dose with COVID-19 infections

“The cell breaks down and gets rid of the mRNA soon after it is finished using the instructions,” the CDC says on its website.
Blood clot cases extremely rare

According to Bhakdi, another way COVID-19 vaccines are killing people is through the formation of deadly blood clots. That’s an inaccurate spin on recent news about the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

In mid-April, the CDC and the FDA recommended a pause in Johnson & Johnson shots after six cases of a rare type of blood clot were reported in women ages 18 to 48 among the nearly 7 million people who received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine at the time. One woman in Virginia died.

Fact check:CDC recommends masks in most cases even after COVID-19 vaccine

After a review of the vaccine’s safety, public health officials recommended April 23 that Johnson & Johnson shots resume nationwide.

“A review of all available data at this time shows that the J&J/Janssen COVID-19 vaccine’s known and potential benefits outweigh its known and potential risks,” the CDC says on its website. “However, women younger than 50 years old especially should be aware of the rare but increased risk of this adverse event and that there are other COVID-19 vaccine options available for which this risk has not been seen.”
Our rating: False

The claim that coronavirus vaccines are killing people and will decimate the world’s population is FALSE, based on our research. Public health officials say all three coronavirus vaccines approved for emergency use in the U.S. are safe and effective at preventing infection. There is no evidence the vaccines cause deadly autoimmune disorders, and reports of blood clots following the Johnson & Johnson vaccine are extremely rare.

Why are there problems with the AstraZeneca & J&J jabs and why Pfizer always requires full liability protection when entering into vaccine contracts with governments.

All vaccine manufacturers are provided liability waivers. The government has a specific fund that pays out damages when it’s warranted.

does full approval get rid of the liability waiver, do you know? i thought it was just an EUA thing.

FDA approved vaccines are exposed to liability. Pfizer is sidestepping that by having an approved version that is kept on the shelf while distributing the emergency-approved one (which is protected from liability) while pointing out that they are identical. Bait and switch, with regard to liability. Seems like they're pushing the limits of public trust, but I guess many won't question their tactics.

https://www.hrsa.gov/vaccine-compensation/index.html

“Vaccines save lives by preventing disease.

Most people who get vaccines have no serious problems. Vaccines, like any medicines, can cause side effects, but most are very rare and very mild. Some health problems that follow vaccinations are not caused by vaccines.

In very rare cases, a vaccine can cause a serious problem, such as a severe allergic reaction.

In these instances, the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP) may provide financial compensation to individuals who file a petition and are found to have been injured by a VICP-covered vaccine. Even in cases in which such a finding is not made, petitioners may receive compensation through a settlement.
How does the VICP work?

The National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program is a no-fault alternative to the traditional legal system for resolving vaccine injury petitions.

It was created in the 1980s, after lawsuits against vaccine companies and health care providers threatened to cause vaccine shortages and reduce U.S. vaccination rates, which could have caused a resurgence of vaccine preventable diseases.

Any individual, of any age, who received a covered vaccine and believes he or she was injured as a result, can file a petition. Parents, legal guardians and legal representatives can file on behalf of children, disabled adults, and individuals who are deceased.”

There is similar program for the Covid19 vaccines.

I still don’t know what 6700 signifies.
For all i know it’s the number of loopers I’ve pulled off my plants so far this summer.

sorry. 6700 is the number of recorded deaths due to the covid jabs. unknown number of weeks ago.

In the Netherlands the government said it falls under your health insurance, but the health insurance say that they don't pay out for medical experiments, when it goes wrong.

Scientifically it makes complete sense. The vaccine doesn't work instantly so why would you classify it as working and protecting the individual when it takes two weeks to build full immunity?

Kinda like somebody taking spaghetti noodles out of the box dumping them in a bowl then adding sauce right out of the jar and calling it spaghetti.

The vaccine has to cook in the body just like the noodles and sauce need to cook to classify the meal correctly.

But the point is that if you're vaccinated and have some adverse consequence, or even die, you can be reported as an unvaccinated person who had a heart attack (or whatever it was). Another layer of protection for Pfizer or whichever company, right?

A simple search shows that people who are having adverse reactions, and/or dying due to vaccines are being well reported, at least where I live, but it looks to be worldwide. It prompted our government to recommend no one under 60 has the atrazeneca due to minute possibility of blood clotting.
This is what my government are reporting weekly. No cover up here. Totally transparent. TGA = Therapeutic Goods Administration.
"The first adverse event reports for the Comirnaty vaccine are now available in the TGA’s public Database of Adverse Event Notifications (DAEN). As part of our commitment to transparency, the TGA publishes adverse event reports for all medicines and vaccines in the DAEN 90 days after they are received."
and
"The TGA uses its adverse event reporting system to closely monitor reports of death following COVID-19 vaccination"

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) confirmed an increased number of deaths reported after a COVID-19 vaccination. Between December 14, 2020, through July 19, 2021, the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) received 12,313 reports of death among people who received a COVID-19 vaccine.

UPDATE: As of 2:30 PM CT on July 21, 2021, the CDC's website modified the number of VAERS reports related to COVID-19 vaccination deaths from 12,313 to 6,079, through July 13, 2021. The CDC's webpage's Last Update date remains July 19, 2021.

UPDATE #2: As of 6:30 PM CT on July 21, 2021, the CDC's website stated through July 19, 2021, VAERS had received 6,207 reports of death (0.0018%) among people who received a COVID-19 vaccine. The CDC's webpage's Last Update date reflects July 21, 2021.

Since more than 338 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines were administered in the USA, this data reflects a vaccination-death ratio of 0.0018%.

The CDC’s website says, ‘Reports of adverse events to VAERS following vaccination, including deaths, do not necessarily mean that a vaccine caused a health problem. This is because the U.S. FDA requires healthcare providers to report any death after a COVID-19 vaccination to VAERS, even if it’s unclear whether the vaccine was the cause.

Furthermore, a review of available clinical information, including death certificates, autopsy, and medical records, has not established a causal link to COVID-19 vaccines, says the CDC.

Additionally, VAERS had received 1,148 reports of myocarditis or pericarditis among people ages 30 and younger who received a COVID-19 vaccine as of July 19th. The CDC and its partners are investigating these reports to assess whether there is a relationship to COVID-19 vaccination.

Through follow-up, including medical record reviews, the CDC and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) have confirmed 674 reports of myocarditis or pericarditis. In both cases, the body’s immune system causes inflammation in response to an infection or some other trigger.

Most of these heart inflammation cases have been reported to the CDC after mRNA COVID-19 vaccination (Comirnaty or SpikeVax), particularly in male adolescents and young adults.

VAERS is the USA’s early warning system that monitors the safety of vaccines after they are Authorized or Licensed for use by the U.S. FDA.

As of July 21, 2021, the FDA had issued three Emergency Use Authorizations for COVID-19 vaccines. However, these experimental vaccines have not been approved by the FDA.

VAERS is part of the more extensive vaccine safety system, co-managed by the CDC and FDA. VAERS accepts and analyzes reports of possible health problems—also called “adverse events”—after vaccination.

As an early warning system, VAERS cannot prove that a vaccine caused a problem, says the CDC.

Specifically, a report to VAERS does not mean that a vaccine caused an adverse event. But VAERS can give CDC and FDA important information. If it looks as though a vaccine might be causing a problem, FDA and CDC will investigate further and take action if needed.

Furthermore, anyone can submit a report to VAERS. Most VAERS reports are filed by healthcare professionals, vaccine manufacturers, and the general public. VAERS welcomes all reports, regardless of the seriousness or how likely the vaccine may have caused the adverse event.

The United Kingdom (UK) health system has a similar strategy.

As of July 7, 2021, the UK’s Medicines & Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) had received 456 Yellow Card reports of suspected adverse drug reactions to the Pfizer- BioNTech (Comirnaty) vaccine in which the patient died shortly after vaccination, 983 reports for the COVID-19 Vaccine AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), and 7 for the COVID-19 Vaccine Moderna (SpikeVax).

The majority of these Yellow Card reports were in older people or people with underlying illnesses says the UK’s MHRA.
