LOL! there IS quite a bit of ignorance on display here. vast majority of it belongs to you & stempy though. nope, not eligible for another booster. when my doctor tells me i need one, i'll do exactly that. got masks already, too. more folks wearing them in public here lately. know what i'm NOT seeing? MAGA hats, and the clods in pickup trucks have hidden their confederate flags lately...self-awareness comes more slowly to some than to others.

Here's some interesting data - Covid report out of Australia - New South Wales. Fascinating numbers. 90% of the population is "vaccinated". In the most recent reporting period - the VAST majority of Covid cases were in the "Vaccinated" - About 400,000 cases in the vaccinated population, 55,000 in the "unvaccinated" population. So almost no protection at all from contracting Covid. Of those hospitalized, 85% of them were vaccinated, so only a slight benefit from vaccination. 75% of the deaths were among the vaccinated - so a higher degree of protection there from the vaccine - but still 3/4 of the dead had the shots.
One must also remember that people typically aren't counted as "vaccinated" until a month after the shot, so some of the "unvaccinated" dead may have received the shots. These numbers are similar to reports out of Scotland, where the vast majority of Covid cases and deaths are also in the vaccinated. Every month that goes by, the virus gets farther and farther from the original spike protein, just as epidemiologists predicted in early 2020.

and one more study I like to post - the only one done in my region, Eastern Massachusetts in summer o 2021, to evaluate the mRNA shots effectiveness against Delta . In this "outbreak" vaccination made absolutely no difference in getting infected or hospitalized. About 75% of the population was vaccinated, about 75% of the infected cases were vaccinated, and 4 out of 5 of those hospitalized were vaccinated. So on a population basis, zero difference in receiving the shots. On an individual basis, some obese or diatetic person may have been saved from the hospital by the shots, we'll never know, but on a population basis, no difference.
This prompted my final decision to never get the shots. These people are the ones who live around me, that I interact with every day. Note that this study is posted on the CDC website....one of the largest studies of its kind done in the US - look how many researchers and doctors are listed as authors - this was a massive undertaking......

3.4 billion mask thrown away every day. How long before they make another island in the Pacific with them????? I bought a 5 pack 2 years ago. Still have two unused.
I'm still holding a small hoard of 3M N95's.....they come in handy when I'm mixing soil in a cloud of perlite & peat - I wore them when "the science" was legitimately saying 3% death rate from Covid - now with more data it's become .15% or even .14%. And now the CDC says that surgical & cloth masks do nothing against "Omicron".....they're just for show or for oppressing children to make them more complaint slaves when they get to work for the big corporations in another 10-15 years.

I've got a 3M mask with replaceable filters. Been up in the attic the last couple weeks laying out more insulation and it's very good with no leakage.. They don't like people to use them though as they protect the wearer very well. But don't stop the drops on exhale so STAY BACK!
Those are better than the regular N95's, I wouldn't trust them w/ fiberglass, too much air comes around the top, around the nose part. So, Austria, Italy and Greece are the countries that have actually mandated the vaccine - criminal offense to abstain in Austria and for people over 50 in Greece and Italy. You can almost draw a line through the 3 countries, strange that they're together in a group.
spouse got us the free KN95 masks - the ones all the cool kids wear. great for cleaning the kitty's litter boxes, too.
