My brother has been a type 1 diabetic most of his life. He was getting pneumonia every winter and ending up in the hospital. The last time almost killed him. This had been going on for 5 years every year. They finally figured out it was the flu shots he was getting were actually aggravating the situation. Two years and no hospital stays now.
