Again nonsense. You cited a source which claimed that this issue mustn't be discussed in EU and I showed you a couple of German sources doing exactly that. And for that, yes, it is nonsense to claim it is not allowed to discuss this in EU.

The article was sent to me from a friend in France, and the interview in that post was with an Oxford University Professor who is engaged for some time now with medical research.

Has it occurred to you that maybe you miss the forest for the trees sometimes, and that your abruptness/rudeness (including your repeated references to Trump when addressing me over the last year or so, as though I were a Trump supporter) serves nothing but your ego?

The latest:

In the United States, there are more than 189,000 cases, according to a Johns Hopkins University tally. More than 4,000 people have died nationwide.
President Donald Trump on Sunday extended federal social distancing guidelines until the end of April.
While the president has said nationwide stay-at-home order is "pretty unlikely," more than 80% of Americans live in areas under a stay-at-home order issued by their state's governors.
With a death in Hawaii reported Tuesday, Wyoming is the only state that has not had any reported coronavirus deaths.
Globally, the number of cases has surpassed 877,000 with more than 43,000 deaths, Hopkins reports.

I was going to question that 4000 dead number. It was 500, then 725... where did 4000 come from I thought? Oh shit!!!

The daily progression is now up to 4000 total, and if the growth progression numbers keep climbing, ie 1000 today, the total will be 5000.

Man, this is getting serious.

Is there a chart showing the progression?

https://ncov2019.live/data

Over a 23% jump in mortality just YESTERDAY.

Don't know if you can use this dashboard to track backward, though I'm sure that data exists some place.

Edit: Consider the geometric progression of a 'phone tree.' I think that's one of the better metaphors or analogies; a person calls 6 people, who in turn call 6 people each, who in turn... You get the idea.

Add'l Edit: The dashboard/data linked above is reportedly updated regularly, was designed by a 17 year old high school student in/near Seattle, has become a major source of data worldwide, reaching 350 million viewers before most of us took this thing seriously, and is more or less a clearing house of sorts of/for MANY Gov and other sources. It sometimes lags a bit in updates, compared to immediate/original-source data, but seems to be a result of having SO many sources linked in.

The claim that it is not allowed to discuss this meds in Europe was fake-news and nothing else. When I tell you this and show you German article discussing this meds than I'm rude and abrupt?

Simply read next time more carefully what I wrote and there is no need to get personal when you have no arguments anymore. And I think you should care more about your own ego, instead of mine.

How 'bout you examine your opening statements in your first post on this matter, and the non-issue of the point you chose to obsess with.

Yes, you're rude in many ways, from your assertions and assumptions about who does and doesn't support Trump, to your avoidance of addressing your original tenor in your first post on this issue, and more. Ego.

The meat of the article had to do with a purportedly/potentially effective treatment. The fact that someone stated it was not being discussed (and someone in France saw fit to forward the article as a conveyance of the more meaningful content of the article) is and was my focus. Apparently not yours.

Do you need more explanation? Have you re-read your original post to view the "where do YOU get these crap articles" (plural) comment, when you were addressing THE article in reference, or the 'Nonsense' comment you asserted multiple times, dismissing an entire article because someone who wrote it, the person who commented, and the person in France who forwarded it, MAYBE perceived it was not being discussed (*persons not from Germany, as, you might benefit to consider that Germany, other than geographically, is not necessarily the center or primary source of news in the EU, and others in the EU and elsewhere MAY have different perceptions than yours, as well as different sources?

There was also your misguided perception that -anyone- had said the vitamins in reference were a 'cure.' They were pointed out to be supplements that boost the immune system; little more in most cases.

Do you really need me to continue dissecting and re-focusing this shit?

Again, consider the meaning of 'missing the forest for the trees'. Might do you some good.

WUHAN CORONAVIRUS DEATH RATE FAR LOWER THAN THOUGHT, WITH 1.4 PERCENT MORTALITY FROM COVID-19

The death toll in Wuhan from COVID-19 is far lower than it was first thought to be, scientists have announced. After analyzing all the symptomatic cases in the city where the outbreak of the new coronavirus is thought to have begun, the team found 1.4 percent of those infected died.

The findings, published in Nature Medicine, come as the city announces it has had no new cases of the virus for the first time in over two months. Chinese health officials also announced it had no new local coronavirus cases—all of the 34 new cases reported were imported infections.

Breaking...Los angeles.... Engineer charged with TRAINWRECKING...

Locomotive Engineer Tried to Derail Train to Wreck Navy Hospital Ship Mercy Over Coronavirus Suspicions, Feds Say...

Prosecutors charged a locomotive engineer who worked at the Port of Los Angeles with intentionally derailing a train at full speed near the US Navy Hospital Ship Mercy because of suspicions over it and activities surrounding COVID-19, according to a federal criminal complaint.

Eduardo Moreno, 44, of San Pedro was charged with one count under little known Federal statute of train wrecking in connection which carries a maximum sentence of up to 20 years in with the incident which took place Tuesday, according to the 10-page criminal complaint unsealed Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles.

After he was arrested, Moreno was held overnight and subsequently turned over to FBI agents Wednesday morning. Moreno is expected to make an initial appearance in federal court Wednesday afternoon. Prosecutors allege Moreno ran the train off the end of tracks, and crashed through a series of barriers before coming to rest more than 250 yards from the Mercy in an incident that was captured on video.

In a second interview with FBI agents, Moreno stated that “he did it out of the desire to ‘wake people up,’” according to the affidavit. “Moreno stated that he thought that the U.S.N.S. Mercy was suspicious and did not believe ‘the ship is what they say it’s for.’”

Manufactured Pandemic: Testing People for Any Strain of a Coronavirus, Not Specifically for COVID-19

I work in the healthcare field. Here’s the problem, we are testing people for any strain of a Coronavirus. Not specifically for COVID-19. There are no reliable tests for a specific COVID-19 virus. There are no reliable agencies or media outlets for reporting numbers of actual COVID-19 virus cases. This needs to be addressed first and foremost. Every action and reaction to COVID-19 is based on totally flawed data and we simply can not make accurate assessments.

This is why you’re hearing that most people with COVID-19 are showing nothing more than cold/flu like symptoms. That’s because most Coronavirus strains are nothing more than cold/flu like symptoms. The few actual novel Coronavirus cases do have some worse respiratory responses, but still have a very promising recovery rate, especially for those without prior issues.

The ‘gold standard’ in testing for COVID-19 is laboratory isolated/purified coronavirus particles free from any contaminants and particles that look like viruses but are not, that have been proven to be the cause of the syndrome known as COVID-19 and obtained by using proper viral isolation methods and controls (not the PCR that is currently being used or Serology /antibody tests which do not detect virus as such). PCR basically takes a sample of your cells and amplifies any DNA to look for ‘viral sequences’, i.e. bits of non-human DNA that seem to match parts of a known viral genome.

The problem is the test is known not to work.

That might address tested positive results. What about the mortality rates being reported?

Reports out of France were that the meds needed to be used BFORE the patient became critical, and before the virus had come to the end, or near the end of its course in the body.

Testing only those who show specific defined symptoms gets in the way of treating folks early, promising more of the same.

Edit: The reporter on the news last night and this AM seemed almost giddy, talking about the new, faster tests being able to vend results in 5-15 minutes, and plans to test up to a million people per day.

While that's a definite improvement, that means the testing in a Country of ~350 million persons, at a million per day, would go on for a year before the entire population was tested.

During that time, the vast majority of that population is doing what ever it is they do.
