I’m 99.97% sure it’s fine to eat wild game in regards to covid.
(As long as it’s cooked)
Does covid survive prolonged 400f temps?
More Fear mongering nonsense...

Don't think this virus will survive at such a high temperature, but a life animal, although don't think that mink is on the menu, can infect you, if you don't handle it right.

These vaccines were tested in several hundred volunteers, so the odds lean heavily in favor of there being no adverse side-effects.

Were I given the choice between taking the vaccine right away, or waiting a few months to see if there are any downsides to being injected, I'd take the vaccine right away, bearing in mind the near certainty of getting infected, if I delay.

A brave lady of 90 years old, was the first UK recipient of this vaccine upon its release to the general population, and her continued good health will ease the worries of many people who would otherwise remain cautious.

The Pfizer vaccine was tested on tens of thousands of patients in Phase III.
The paper in the NEJM lays it all out.

I received the first dose ~ 24 hours ago and haven’t felt a thing.
Next dose in 21 days
I was pretty nervous going to the site but when I got on line, I was definitely on the lower end of the IQ scale, some of the most brilliant minds in medicine were there, the fear just left. These people are not just going to take anything because they are told to.

There’s light at the end of the tunnel, we all just need to hold the fort down for a few more shitty months.
This summer, shit is gonna be on like Donkey Kong, big ass BBQs!

I hate to break it to you but all these government restrictions are likely permanent.
Idk if there is even one example of a temporary government mandate.. (outside of war time rationing)
And since we can’t see the enemy (and it can mutate at any time)
We must remain ever vigilant
Lol..:dancer:

The technique they use for this vaccine is brand new and long term effects aren't known, so there is a risk.By the end of the month a few million will be vaccinated in the UK, so till then we' ve to wait if more side effects will occur among those who get vaccinated.

Yeah, mRNA vaccines are the future, unless of course it causes me to develop Lymphoma 10 years from now, ??

'Serious allergic reaction in the US after Pfizer vaccine'

In the US state of Alaska, a health care worker developed a serious allergic reaction after receiving the corona vaccine from Pfizer. According to The New York Times, based on three anonymous sources, the health care professional had no history of allergic reactions to drugs. It is unclear whether he or she had other allergies.

The care worker has been admitted to hospital and is still there. According to the newspaper, the allergic reaction was similar to that of two Britons who received the vaccine last week. Both have since been restored. They did have allergies in the past, including an egg allergy.

The pharmaceutical company previously reported that the vaccine does not contain an egg. The new case in America has not yet responded. In the pilot phase of the Pfizer vaccine, no further serious side effects were observed. Some of the test subjects did suffer from headaches and fever, among other things.

In the United States, millions of people are expected to be vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine this month. According to The New York Times, authorities are now on the alert for new allergic reactions.

The UK health authorities have advised against the administration of the Pfizer vaccine to people who have had severe allergic reactions in the past because of the two previous allergy cases. In our country, the Dutch Association for Allergology and Clinical Immunology (NVvAKI) sees no problem.

Suck it up buttercup. Allergic reactions are all over the place. Latex, penicillin, oranges, peanuts, whatever.

Anyone remember this thing? lol. I think the army still uses them.
This is what we got in our day and we didn't turn into zombies.

You know nothing about history obviously. Every crisis requires some constitutional violations by the federal government. Lincoln and Washington includes...certainly the great wars. People sucked it up and went on with their lives realizing it was for the common good.

180 dead from, or "with", COVID-19 in Alaska, as of right now.

41,858 confirmed infections (*Do your own extrapolations re. what that means once you account for those who are not confirmed, and the 45% of those infected spreaders who show no symptoms).

314,577 dead in the US, as a whole, at this point.

In case anyone has become numbed by the sheer size of the numbers, yes, those are greater-than-significant numbers.

Severe acute respiratory syndrome
Also called: SARS

A contagious and sometimes fatal respiratory illness caused by a coronavirus.

SARS appeared in 2002 in China. It spread worldwide within a few months, though it was quickly contained. SARS is a virus transmitted through droplets that enter the air when someone with the disease coughs, sneezes, or talks. No known transmission has occurred since 2004.
Fever, dry cough, headache, muscle aches, and difficulty breathing are symptoms.
No treatment exists except supportive care.

MEANWHILE IN THE USA.....18 YEARS LATER.....

Rubbish. I live in a country where restrictions were imposed. The virus is now under control and life is getting back to normal. Retrictions lifted.
If you go back to the Spanish Flu there were similar restrictions which were lifted after the danger passed.

Oh so soorry, I forgot this was a major war
+(Not a cold).
I’m so silly.
And yea, I do think all these restrictions will be permanent... but I hope I’m wrong and this virus dies out and governors peacefully cede the power they’ve accumulated via unconstitutional mandate/order

As I said your knowledge of history parallels your knowledge of science....mask mandates are nothing except Maybe a chance for some wanna be weekend warriors to display their "testosterone signaling"
You remind me of my cousin who left the US when Obama became president because of some right wing propaganda he heard. He tried new Zealand only to find they were much more intrusive than the county in Arkansas he had left. Eventually his out in the jungles in Belize...relying on the charity of some Amish to keep him and his family alive. His wife developed diabetes, so...then they came back to Arkansas...to take advantage of Obama care.
Lol. Follow the lemmings

History has always been one of my favorite subjects.
I did well in history in school until I dropped out in 2nd grade...

Anyway if ur so much smarter and knowledgable than me you shouldn’t have any problem putting ur money where ur mouth is..
Cause I’m not ur cousin... and conflating me with him... is a trick of a weak mind that feels the need to sort every person into an archetype
(It’s kind of the same trick racists or classists pull on themselves.)
Hope ur proud

“Mask mandates are nothing”
Great argument
Really persuasive content

The truth is mask mandates are arbitrary unconstitutional, undemocratic orders set down by a ruling class for the plebes but not for themselves (see Gavin newsom at the French laundry... pelosi at the salon.. cuomo walking the street..
Etc. Etc.
Also... they’re anti science and cause far more harm than good.

Go see your family and give them a hug. Tomorrow is not promised to anyone

For some reason I am reminded of the Peter Principle which states that every person in the fullness of time, rises to their own level of incompetence.

Returning to pandemic musings, I heartily agree that every man should be free to choose the manner of their own demise, be that mundane or spectacular. When it comes time for me to explore the concept of life after death, I am looking at taking a graceful and elaborate swan dive off a busy freeway overpass, as my chosen point of transition to immortality, or to my new role as worm bait, whichever is applicable.
