i've had to reduce my smoking (of Cannabis) and am almost super tired today.

i think from overdoing it yesterday, but the "human chimney" feeling in my mouth & throat makes me wonder.

of course i was exposed to some smoke yesterday and spent about an hour today making more dust.

will be interesting to see the effect on Cannabis smokers.

Hopefully ICMag'ers, if exposed, will get a non-case or a case that is ~
* MILD - with no lung scarring
* gives them antibodies & immunity.

I haven't wanted to chime in with a self-diagnosis, but I've been been sick for like.. 2.5 months. It started with 3 days of chills and shallow breathing, onto a fever and a dry cough, which progressed into a productive cough, producing something crazy like a quarter cup of phlegm a day for the past 8 weeks or so..

My solution has been to take more dabs. Always seems to help me hack up whatever is hanging out down there. My edible intake has doubled up since the lockdown, too.

When an at home test becomes available, I'll be ordering one. I've been going the extra mile in my self-quarantining, making the assumption that I'm carrying. So, it'll be nice to know for sure.

FWIW, asides from the shallow breathing and nuisance of phlegm all over my shirts.. I'm basically completely asymptomatic.

Any pink material in your phlegm, Bobby, or is it the standard post-sinus/respiratory system color of lighter Shrek-green?

I've had some sort of respiratory issue since about 2 days before we went to the lakes in the mountains, so maybe March 6. At our home, I'm often the last to catch what ever others have, but take a bit longer to get rid of it. The relatively extreme lower humidity in winter here, indoors, with an HRV running 2/3 time, doesn't help that, but in a super insulated house, vapor-barrier tight like a zip lock baggie, it's a necessity.

No chills, but the hunch I had a fever numerous times, only to be cleared of that perception.

I'm finally pulling out of it, though broken sleep habits don't help the immune system a lot.

Lots of fluids, just like our moms or Docs would've told us, lots of vitamin C of one source or another (if your body can tolerate that), zinc, and sufficient D3, which is shown through valid study, repeatedly, to boost immune system. With my personal situation, I've been taking 5,000 IU of D3 daily for a LONG time now, at the advice of a former Doc, and with my regular blood screens, that has me toward the upper end of mid-range, and he wanted it higher, but I held off.

That said, each person's tolerance for supplements varies. There's some I can't take.

Good luck to you. :tiphat:

No pink. Lots of white and yellow, bits of green and brown.

I've finally been sleeping. Making sure I wear my night guard and put myself down with the edibles every night. I've also taken to dumping a ton of cinnamon in the my 3 pots dv of black coffee and drinking fresh squeezed lemonaide every day with a single shot of vodka.

I've got a couple bottles of concentrated lemon and lime juice and some vitamin c powder that I'll resort to once the fresh lemons and limes run out (not running to the store or sending anybody out until I absolutely have to), but I've got about a hundred dollars of all types of different cinnamons layin around from a recent cinnabon cloning adventure.

I should probably jump on the multi-vitamin train.. My grandma and grandpa on my good side always insisted vitamins be consumed from living, fresh, and raw sources.. but.. they weren't licensed doctors.

They practiced illegally.. as traveling dick doctors.

Anyways, thank you, and good luck to you, too.

My understanding is fresh is nearly always best, but that multi-vitamins are a shotgun approach, and not right for everyone, as well as potentially skimping on the key immune system vitamins like (esp) D3, and zinc.

Been mostly using the citrus extracts for C, but now have some powdered C in caps with bioflavonoids (less money than the ones with rose hips, and I have a driveway and acreage with last year's rose hips on the bushes still, wrinkled like raisins from the frosts and snow since last Fall, which increases their limited sugar content just a tad).

Wash regularly, shower as much as you're able, and do the best you can. :tiphat::huggg:

Pics ?

How's your sense of smell & taste ?

I smelled a bucket that was burned, and filled with wax smoke - very unique smell, nose still working.

I'll try to remember to take some next hacking.. I've been suckin down on the e-rig and talking my gf through a couple hours of piano lessons, so I'm about all hacked out right now.

My sense of smell is definitely on a par with the rest of my sinus issues right now. I'm snoring a bit, where I never have before, and the fluid in my ears keeps shifting around, slowly driving me to madness.

I'm right here in the epicenter of Cook County. I was just offered 500 dollars per walmart (@ 2 stores a day) to install the sneeze guard partitions at the pharmacies. My buddy did a store last sunday where 2 of the employees died the following thursday. He decided to quit doing them once I sent him the article.

Hence the got the call I just a few hours ago. Haven't stepped foot in a walmart in 6 years. Not doing it.

My brother, not tested had all the symptoms.
He swore by mucinex everyday, he said when he did not take it things got a lot worse.

Hot baths are a virus's worst nightmare.
Providing your body temp is not too hot already.
A hot bath simulates a fever and is fairly effective at keeping the virus from proliferation.
Well it slows things down anyway.

Best wishes Bobby.:tiphat:

Oh ya.. I spend 30 minutes every single morning in an outrageously hot bath.

Thank you ALL for the well wishes!

Woke up on the wrong side of the bed feeling a bit uninspired to get back to work on day 2 of Papillon, which you have all managed to remedy.

Family member who's a nurse has no Lysol spray or wipes, no 99% iso, no nitrile gloves (outside of work), and only has surgical masks for face protection. Intending to get her some Lysol spray for bringing items into her home, etc., but before even looking, other than to be at the store at opening time for seniors, I have limited hope of such things being available.

Shaking my head every time I consider our circumstances, who is doing what to make things safer, etc. If this keeps up, my neck will be sore; not from the virus, I hope, but from shaking my head in disbelief..

Edit: Thanks for the tunes, Bobby. Your twisted sense of awesome humor is definitely a necessity here during … almost ANY time.

Get yourself one of the super duty painting masks with the replaceable filters = go crank out some work and make some $$$. With the right protection and going after hours, when no customers are present, you should have zero worries.

Was happy to fill up at Costco @ $1.09 gallon - it has been many years/decades since gas was that cheap.

Good luck to all = great time to dwell in your garden and stay home, pleasantly stoned. :tiphat:

I'd be working between 9am to 9pm, ground zero, rolling around on the pharmacy floors, at walmart, which is a dirty place to begin with..

The shit I have found laying around doing build-outs and remodels there.. dirty diapers, hypodermics.. all kinds of nasty.. and the majority of the customers and employees there are just.. nasty, stinky, rude, gross people. Its a fuckin zoo in there.

I'm lucky to not need for the money.. otherwise that's exactly where I'd be right now. Plus.. y'know.. I'm hacking unknown crap everywhere. It'd be a little irresponsible to parade around the city like that without getting tested first.

I had a similar thing to you, for two days I got chills, I had heating on, all my clothes on, and a duvet over me and was still shivering. then I had a nasty cough and really bad head aches every day. and I felt really tired and sensitive to the cold, which I never normally am. three weeks later and still got a cough now and again. definitely not the usual flu that we tend to get every year. I do suspect I had it mildly. but wouldn't really know until home testing becomes available ..

im glad the cases are slowing down.. might be a little premature though. in every other country it booms before it plateaus.
