In laws were saying that about a week ago with Duterte, thought they were joking. Also couldn’t find it anywhere else,
They are on the northern part, in Ilocos Norte, and say for the last two weeks they have had to make a grocery list and give it to a local government official, and he does the shopping for them.
At that time food was available but meat was rationed more. Mother in law complained enough that they let her shop by herself at 5am at least once.

I just dropped off 2 cases of gloves to a nurse at local hospital in the middle of what they are calling a hot spot.
The need for PPE is real, she was not supposed to take outside gloves in but she did.
Is it safe to assume from these facts that?:
Our health care workers are suffering without proper PPE due to the cost?
Is it safe to assume from these facts that?:
They fight a deadly virus everyday without the proper PPE because someone too cheap to buy it for them.
People still seem to think the Govt. has the best interest of the people at its heart.

No, I think there will be millions dead, and the world economy will come out just fine. Everyone will retain all of their present rights, just like they did after 9-11

Because the Russians usually can't even help themselves and to a big part this is caused by US-sanctions. In Russia there is a lack of nearly everything (except weapons, oil & vodka) and if the US really need the help of Russia you have a serious problem.

i've been boiling masks and gloves.
when you think about the details of handling, if you keep gloves & masks in a plastic bag, that bag is also possibly contacted by covid 'dust' particles.
the baggies i was washing in soap. then I realized this kind of handling is exactly what could give me the contact I'm trying to avoid.
so i throw the baggies next to the Giant rose bush. TBD.

"if" some of the more dire predictions i am reading come true, we will ALL be exposed eventually. precautions we are taking now are just attempts to flatten the curve so hospitals etc will not collapse from sheer numbers & result in no medical folks being around to treat the sick. if there is no herd immunity developed from prior exposure, then we will get it over & over until the virus either mutates to a less dangerous one, or MORE deadly & it kills most/all of us over the years. if it behaves similar to flu, it is not going away, but will be with us from now on...
Anyone that has had a case of the flu is carrying a form of corona virus

Have you ever seen any totals for tests given overall? That seems like a useful number to have, especially once adequate testing is in place.
so hospitals etc will not collapse from sheer numbers.
I went to the hospitals between me and my brother we went to 5 total, there were no huge numbers.
We only saw a few cars testing
But you keep trusting the media to tell you the truth.
The court has ruled the the media can spread lies legally.
But you still choose the media over a boots on the ground report.
I may annoy some of you, others may hate me to the bone.....
