HIGH TIMES CELEBRATES 4/20!

Our national holiday is here again! And we’re pulling out all the stops with two epic events.

The U.S. Cup has been moved to San Bernardino, California on April 15-17. Once again, the NOS Center will host this special event. It’s a three-day festival featuring educational seminars, cannabis industry booths and a medicating area.

The best cannabis in America will compete in eight categories for the ultimate prize – the U.S. Cannabis Cup! Be there and experience this cannabis carnival with rides, games and a stellar lineup of musical guests. And, of course, it all culminates in the U.S. Cannabis Cup awards on Sunday evening, April 17.

Then, on April 19, get yourself to the Rocky Mountain State and join the cannabis community for the HIGH TIMES Concert Series and the Colorado Cannabis Cup awards. The Colorado Cannabis Cup competition will take place, but will not feature an expo and adult-use area.

As always, strains will be judged by a panel of experts. Winners will be announced at our Colorado Cannabis Cup awards ceremony at our massive concert celebration featuring Cypress Hill, George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic, Action Bronson and Chronixx & Zincfence Redemption. And be sure check out a private exhibit of the leading Colorado cannabis companies!

Come to the 1st Bank Center in Broomfield, Colorado on April 19 for super music and a whole lot of marijuana merriment! It’s all part of our special 4/20 celebration, when we honor the top products of Colorado at the HIGH TIMES Colorado Cannabis Cup.

Go to cannabiscup.com for tickets and information!

park county is the big flat area on 285 after you drop in off kenosha pass.... south west of denver, about 1 hour.
basically, in denver get on hampden and west that turns in to "south" 285

i'm kinda mad at myself for being upset about the cup being in pueblo, now i'm upset it's out of state.... could always be worse i suppose.... just not for cannabis events in Colorado.

So Fairplay area
yup
fairplay and hartsel are the only "towns" in that south park valley, can't count jefferson it's just a beer store basically; or como, it's not even got a beer store.
there is more to park county than just south park... just not much more too it :D

If your gh is environmentally controlled, plant whatever you want. 9K ft would provide some intense sun!

As Avinash mentions above otherwise.
Controlled. Light dep/Supplemental lighting, temp/rh controlled.

Would like to break away from the majority sour diesel and blue dream commercial flooding the market.

Can't wait to move to the mountains. So tired of the City. Not going deep in the mountains, but will still be in the mountains. Only about 10 more minutes on the commute to the warehouse. So worth it though. :)

High Times needs to get their shit together. Their event is wack anyways. When are we going to start our own event and seed swap anyways? I'm down as fuck if it apparently wasn't so hard to get a permit and secure a location.

you only need a permit for an event thats open to the public, anything private on private land needs no permit.
def we need a better event....

All things seem to point to the need for a change, perhaps time for ic to reconsider a user organized event for Colorado? If not, perhaps we simply need to move forward, since we have a scant month left to organize?

Sigh...

Heard that yesterday Lake, totally sucks. The town elders from Footloose seem to be holding sway in Denver, Co Springs and Pueblo.

the pendulum swings...
cos has been surprisingly silent on the whole club thing until recently.... with this and the fed bust of lazy lion... honestly some kind of attention on these places seems long overdue, and this action of a ban that takes 8 years to enact? don't you think that in 8 years the city of c. springs will be READY for a cannabis event or 2, or at least state leg. will have created a licensing / permit avenue that will appease the city? whatever the case it's all about timing imo.... the localities are doing everything they can to halt cannabis events in order to push the state legislatures hand in creating special rules for these events. just like how judges at state & fed level are afraid to make a pro cannabis ruling and instead want to put it off on legislature re-classify cannabis federally before a judge rules it's illegality unconstitutional.
I've said it before and i'll say it again:
law enforcement lobby & prison guard lobby are both supporting all this foot dragging and bullshit (or outright MAKING this shit happen) at local, state, AND federal levels.

I'm sure the liquor and pharma lobbies have a hand in it to.
