fingers crossed that all goes well.....
hope y'all at least get test results back.... some feed back would be nice.... an icmagger with a win would be extra sweet :good:

There were definitely some nice entries for the 12 or 16 or however many I was able to see before the plug was pulled last weekend. One in particular stood out though when I picked up the jar I was thinking, "Oooooo weeeee, what kind of OG is this?!" One of the earthier ones, nothing sweet or citrusy about it at all but fire. I love strains that you see and they are so obvious what it is just by looking at it. There was another one when it had to have been Blue Dream or something along those lines just from looks and smell. Again, I didn't smoke anything.

I know it isn't legal, but us there any (or any history of) real outdoor growing going on in Colorado?

I'm thinking one might be able to do some decent guerrilla harvests in the Southern/Southwestern parts of the state.

Look up the Pueblo sheriff piggies busting a "GIANT" grow out around 32Nd Lane, I think this went on from about 1984-5 till 1995. There was a grow in the area that went wild after they busted the guy growing. Every LATE Fall the PSD would make the paper aware of the new bust there...No arrests after the first though??? Why is that?

When I first started my radiation treatments around Aug-Sept 2012 there was a big bust up near San Isabel lake area. One TOTALY retarded ex-sheriff's dep. took a current deputy dog up to search the area in a plane the retired Pig got designated experimental, oh and he was in-eligible for a pilots lic. because of previous suspensions and health disqualifications...IT WAS illegal FOR HIM TO HAVE ANY-ONE ON THAT PLANE! They crashed and died...GOOD riddance! But the procession blocked almost all traffic in Pueblo and almost caused me to miss a key treatment that would have meant I would have to restart all of them. Or possibly get kicked out of Dorcey Cancer altogether and not get any more treatments.
That bust was close to a thousand plants if I remember right. All Mexican illegals camping on the edge of private and Gov land.

I KNOW others but must wait till sure I am dead to post em.

I know what you are trying to say and understand what you mean. There was one that had a HEAVY orange smell to it that I SOOOOOooo wanted to know what strain it was. I can't smoke them deep so I love smelling and seeing the final bud.

I am trying to get there tomorrow...I hope I make it. Leaving late %1pm get there about 2ish. I hope I at least get a pendant.

Do you remember the number or at least what it looked like? There might have been one or two like you speak of that looked like they were from either outdoor or greenhouse? Unless it was just a really sativa dominant strain that was grown indoors?

Cliffnotes? I know it will take me forever to getting around to reading it.

basically just sums up "the game" here in colorado for licensees...
this 66 page document basically IS THE cliff notes of licensed cannabis in colorado.

next report from the same body will address caregivers and growers....

9/2, 9/3, 9/4 at Dick's in Commerce City.

Ill be there, if anyone wants to get together and burn one.

Phish dicks? Maybe this year I won't sleep on tickets again. I'm pretty bad at not buying tickets and spacing til last minute when they are all sold out. STS9 for example...

No I didn't get any numbers...doubt anyone else kept them from last week either which is a sore spot with me...It was def. an indoor and light deprived, seemed to be a kush strain but I wasn't sure.
They did the voting in 5minute intervals for each category today. The problem is no-one knew what the numbers were from last week. My PCK was a ringer for the people's choice because those black buds blew every-one's mind...But it was sent up last week and no-one could remember it's number...not even me...I think it was 5???
The lab results were an up lift. Out-door grower posting 21%,24% and 27.8%...I think I am close to getting my harvests down.
I did get 2 awards for 2nd and 3rd in sativa...an indoor grow beat me.

You also know it was the PCK...nothing that dark no-where else but with me. She won NOTHING! I want to drag a cop's body behind my vette till it runs out of gas.

Won a Trophy

Won a Trophy

Wasn't able to go today due to illness, but the person who went in my place said that one of my 2 strains won 1st place for highest CBD. I'm guessing it was the Star Killer. Pretty stoked about that for sure. As soon as I get the trophy I'll post up some pics. To quote our buddy stoned trout, yeehaw yeehaw! :woohoo:

Yeah, if your entry wasn't there yesterday you were shit out of luck. That PCK was crazy looking for sure, you would have though people would have remembered that one, I know I did. The voting was kind of crazy with only the 5 minute intervals and not nearly the crowd as the original cup but still a good turn out for the size of the place. Congrats to Doc and RA!, you guys earned it. RA! I think I talked to your buddies yesterday, did one of the guys have big gauged ears and really short hair? I hope Percy doesn't get the memo for the next event haha. That guy just about swept the damn comp. I was glad to see my results too but none of mine broke 20% although one came close. I was disappointed but had to remind myself that two entries were my first attempt at full season outdoor and the other was #crawlspacegrown that was pulled a tad early. Next time will be better.

All told, I'm glad they were able to finish it out without just throwing in the towel. Hopefully with that new permit that they can get for events there shouldn't be any more problems in the future.

I miss read my % Sorry I was remembering another I read that was not mine. They were 19.7% through 24.8%, But for outdoor grow I don't think I am going to be changing my harvest and cure techniques any time soon...Maybe a little refinement???

I was most mad about the guy who won 1st and 2nd in edibles on that totally awful excuse for pretzels and cheese. ALL of the other entries were better than his...how in the f^$#ing H@!! did he rate ANYTHING???

And I had nothing in the edibles so I would like to think this is an impartial review...I don't know who he was. Dressed as a chef??? I wouldn't trust him with a wiener cart!

Matthew was the chef. I didn't try his entries but I think he won because they were the highest THC content for either the cheese or pretzel and the other would have been highest Cannabinoid content. Next one I'm going to do an entry with as much hash and keif that I can throw into it, haha.

I can make a peanut butter or mint fudge with a half cup of straight kief and you'd never taste it...
maybe more... I wonder how far I could push it...
that amount of sugar covers it up pretty well.

Yeah that sounds WAY cool till you think you have to give them enough for (?) about 150 pieces. Might be hard to cover all that. I thought about something along those lines after watching the worst edible win.

yhea, a win is a win...
some peeps i know won a htcc for best CBD edible, was a brand new category so i don't think there was much competition (fewer entries for sure) and they are into the CBD thing bigtime... was a no brainer for them, i doubt it was best tasting or looking, but won on lab results iirc.

kind of like people who run for public offices based on finding "un-contested" races and running (winning sometimes) against losers who thought they were sure fire wins.

bigups to y'all for participating and giving us feedback on the event... all it's downs and ups - it's very encouraging to see these event persevere thru the bullshit that cops want to impose (and counties like montezuma & park fucking w BAT) and end up throwing or (in the case of frost bowl) finishing the event despite the adversity.
