I wish I could, but I can't, I got a Doctor to blame for that...

What about hiking or biking? There is so much fun outdoor shit to do here in CO. Pick a new hobby or pasttime that involves getting outside and you can meet other likeminded people doing the same thing. Then you can smoke weed outside when you're doing said activity.

Don't scoff at Phish either man, that shit is tiiighhttt. I can have the same amount of fun at a Phish show that I can at a Lamb of God show, albeit different kinds of concert fun

I guess the only difference is the booze makes the money in bars. It seems like the clubs are not allowed to sell pot or THC products.

Maybe CO cannabis consumers need to start a class action lawsuit against the state for "not regulating like alcohol".

Is there an attorney or few that would join such an action?

Phish's music messes with my head, so I avoid them.

!RA!

I think I still have A Picture of Nectar CD floating around somewhere, pretty great music from what I remember. Is there a song on there called The Stash? I kinda remember that one being a favorite. Back when I was doing car stereo install for a living we used it to demo systems. Haven't listened to them much since then, but I can only imagine they've gotten to be pretty awesome.

the new bill is for rec licensed shops to get licenses for events in which they CAN sell.

nothing at all is set in stone now, there are NO rules yet regarding these clubs..... multiple bills will be gone thru before the "one" is decided on in legislature.

yes, onsite sales could (if allowed) account for LARGE profits, but even if onsite sales are banned at the clubs, i believe there is still potential for big money.

I never liked studio Phish but they completely crush it live. Definitely been on a couple of 4 and 5 night run mini ters.

I know it isn't legal, but us there any (or any history of) real outdoor growing going on in Colorado?

I'm thinking one might be able to do some decent guerrilla harvests in the Southern/Southwestern parts of the state.

have you ever heard of "P-bud"? or "paonia purple? "paonia paralyzer".
the paonia area has been a historic cannabis growing area of colorado, famous since the 80's. iirc there was even a high times article about the area in the early to mid 90's
out door and big greenhouses are the norm in that area.... all south facing exposure and lots of ag water available.

ALSO:
remember how i said international reporters were picking up the pesticide story ?
BBC Brazil:
http://www.bbc.com/portuguese/noticias/2016/01/160122_maconha_legalizacao_risco_consumidores_jf_rb

ALSO:
Uruguay dealing with the cannabis club issue also:
http://www.esquerda.net/artigo/uruguai-clubes-sociais-de-canabis-queixam-se-da-nova-lei/40940
law states there that clubs can only have 45 members maximum.... good luck meeting someone new that way :D

Paonia is a little too close to fracking activity for my liking. Perhaps the Montrose area? I'm too big of a scaredy-cat to put up a greenhouse where it isn't legal to do so. I imagine that the pigs in the sky see a big white greenhouse and come in there ready to fuck someone to death with the long dick of the law.

I've got more guerrilla in mind.

personally i think the cannabis clubs have potential FAR beyond the tourism industry.... that's like saying bars in colorado would only be popular for tourists seeking microbrews (do remember that it wasn't THAT long ago in the big picture that coors was the countries first and only microbrewery, and people traveled here as tourists to try it).

i really enjoy hanging out and meeting strangers over a joint, meeting other growers... sure hanging with friends and staying in can be GREAT (i love it!), but something spontaneous that cannot be replaced and can only exist in a "public-ish" place.... that's unique to colorao, like "legalized" cannabis..... stoners hide in their homes and smoke with their friends EVERYWHERE, you would THINK that here in CO (which, likeit or not, is the FRONT LINE of cannabis law reform in the entire WORLD) we could have something different here - something laid back... something that entailed bring your own (because i dont want to show up and have limited options, everyone smoking industry crap).

on point as usual

Several years back, while I was doing a very small guerrilla grow, a huge bust went down near Rifle, was said to be well over a million dollars worth of product. Thousands of plants. I have done guerrila grows out here in the high country for almost every year for the last 5-10. Tons of work, but cool to get a harvest of buds grown at over 9000 ft in the straight outdoors. Really a crap shoot, just hope its a decent "vintage". Can and does snow up here at any time . Seen plenty of 70- 90 plus degree days in july , then freakishly, the next day you wake up to 6 inches of snow on the ground ! Mountain life

greenhouses and outdoor (for personal private use) are legal in CO if they are concealed from view of public like in rural areas
not much fracking up there, maybe you are thinking of coal?
fracking follows the bookcliffs, and even mesa county put out a moratorium on new sites, which has really put the whole fracking thing on hold on the western slope (many people blame the moratorium for stagnant growth in GJ area, i blame GJ sucking)

personally i think all the ag valley areas are perfect for small(ish) GH's and personal grows (not licensed).
seems like each year the big busts are big guerilla grows, or people just going WAAAY over numbers (story i heard thru the grapevine: one guy in cedaredge was busted with like 3000 plants spread around his property half-guerrilla style, the cops only cut 1800 down, left the rest, last i heard he harvested those at end of season with no issue)
suffice to say where-ever you are in CO you want to stay within local limits and your own plant count as best you can.

That's all I was hoping for, test results and unbiased feedback from several people. Hell, I didn't smoke at all last weekend at the event and I had a VIP pass for entering flower.
