ok so few weeks have past and its looking like the problem is spider mites i read a little on this toopic in the past and i want to keep my strain going.so what im thinking is to remove almost all of the larger fans then vacuming the rest of the plant that is still alive doing a neem oil rub on the stems and leafs while they are still in veg then letting them contiune vegging for a few more weeks and hopefully i can find some lady bugs anyone have a better idea or see flaws in mine or anything im leaving out if so let me know id hate to loose my girls .. also if anyone knows a good spot in denver or auroa to score some healthy lady bugs this time of year drop a name thanks. Darkvade420

Just spray with Neem oil. Soak that bitch twic3 a week for 3 weeks then once a week until week 4 of flower. no more problems.

That's a good question. Each one has at least 5, and some I put 6-8 in.

70-80 probably.

I've got another 10 or so other packs I want to look through that didn't make the first cut. Bunch of older stuff that I've been collecting over the past 10 years or so. A lot of stuff that is unavailable now.

I don't even know if those Gonzo #2 seeds will pop, they are so old. I posted a grow diary on those under my user name CTSV, back in 06ish...

I would choke a cub scout to have these beans back...

So Hickenlooper has declared tained pot a threat to the public. It's about time.

I believe you should really rethink this. Just look how the counties in California have enforced outdoor bans using local zoning. Anonymous smell complaint, local code enforcement shows up with cops to enforce not laws, but regulations. The question is Why? It's just the beginning process of clearing the field by making it eventually near impossible to comply. Ohio tried to bypass this process and just go straight to the end game: politicians decide and give it all to their friends, who have been, and will continue to, donate to the right campaign funds. Maybe your constitutional status will protect you, but they will say you can grow, if you could comply. Of course they know a bunch of pot growers will not come out of the shadows and attend zoning board meetings and get organised publicly. Check out the county ban threads in the Cali forums. Don't get comfortable with government. Think of them as gangsters, cause that's what they are.

I don't travel too much anymore. But one of my bucket list things is to come out to Denver and catch a multi night run of Railroad Earth at Red Rocks and sample some of the really nice looking pot you guys grow.

Meh. CO govt knows they're stuck with legal cannabis. They also know that if there's a dearth of OTC product that demand will be met through other means.

Hickenlooper in particular is a pragmatist. He won't pass up the tax revenue tilting at ideological windmills. Prohibition is dead in CO & snakebit everywhere else in this country because of that.

You're right about local restrictions on commercial growers & caregivers to a point because those are licensed operations & localities have limited home rule per our constitution. It's all in flux atm. Legalized personal growing makes all small growers a lot safer in any case. It's pretty much a no bullshit proposition. Just do it. If you're not dealing, there's nobody looking to bust you.

Hope everyone is enjoying their Thanksgiving, did my first pumpkin flavored cheesecake this year, it came out perfect, tastes like a pumpkin pie with extra extra extra whipped cream :)

I'm thankful to be in the state with the most progressive cannabis laws in the country, they're not perfect, but they're a gift all the same.

FWIW budweiser, coors and miller are all industry leaders

that doesn't mean their products are the best in the industry. quality and quantity are light years apart

still tho, don't see any of the big 3 beer producers laying large percentage of their companies off and shutting doors.

point is that THIS "industry" is so embryonic still that industry leaders are generally self proclaimed as marketing tactics, rather than a definition based on actual market share.

My Glo (I did get one, hopefully its a female)and Galadriel didn't do anything, as they have been with a friend for the past 4 years...

All the beans I had stored germinated at almost 100%.

Hopefully I get some winners.

Nice! how old were the beans? I'm hoping that I get 75% germ from some beans that weren't stored in ideal conditions for 4-5 years. Not horrible but more temp fluctuation than I'd have wanted (garage). Fuck it though, if they don't pop I'll just go to corner store.

I wouldn't actually do this but I just had a hilarious thought about pedaling my old schwinn across town with a few juvenile clones strapped to the rack.

I'd have to go look through my old thread, but probably 4-5 years old.

I keep my beans in a ziploc in the butter box of my fridge. I had a 10 year old Gonzo #2 pop just fine. Same with some Erdpurt.

The older and more delicate the beans, the more likely it is that you'll need to baby them to coax life out of them, 3-5 years usually isn't a problem, even when they're stored closer to room temperature, the main bean killer imo is humidity, the extra moisture can lead to rot, mold, ice crystals, etc, all of which can reduce viability, whereas a lack of humidity will have a very hard time causing a bean to "dry out" unless excessive heat is involved.
