:yeahthats
i just can't get past the part about "legalized on the federal level".... i don't see that happening in a REAL way (the kind of way in CO, where any adult can grow their own). I hope im wrong.

lots of legal battles going on about the "semi public" use issue.
a ballot initiative was planned, then rescinded. the activists who initiated the ballot initiative in favor of creating legal avenues for use in private cannnabis clubs and venues decided the initiative would do better in a major election year when more voters turn out.... that's on them, when and if it DOES show up on a ballot, peeps better represent....

When it comes to "Liberal" ballot measures, timing is everything. We'll always do better in a presidential election year.

I know, the idea of it being legalized on a federal level could seam like something out of a pipe dream, but so did medical at first. I might sound like I'm high but I could see it happening with-in 5-10 years, maybe closer to 7-10 years.

Yes, I've read and heard all about the ballot initiative in Denver and how it was pulled even after it qualified for the ballot. I think they may have also realized that they needed to expand it from one city to the entire state.

They need to try to get an amendment for employment fairness/non-discrimination act that would end employment drug testing for THC or the legal ability to fire said employee over a positive test.

IMO it will be federally re-scheduled first, which is just a hand off to big pharma, and will not result in across the board safe legal access for anyone anywhere.

I'm told by some of the "insiders" that it was a timing issue rather than a jurisdiction issue. many clubs are left alone, it's the ones in denver that got all squashed this past april that are trying to band together and get something changed, in denver.

the dish tv verdict was a real kick in the balls for all users, especially medical patients.
BUT
there was a verdict in favor of med patients concerning the 5 nanogram driving limit :D some lady w 19 ng beat a case based on her medical need.
so, as a (medical) cannabis user in this legal state you have the right to drive, but not neccessarily to work.

my 2 cents

If it is federally rescheduled first, it will be a boon to the very "black" market they say they're trying to thwart.

Although if enough states put rec in place first, that snowball would roll down the hill right past em...

how about this sweet lil leak;

this is how the state of CO has planned to drown medical in bathtub full of recreational.....
compare it to alcohol, knowing it will not actually be regulated like alcohol ESPECIALLY concerning usage.

the one working for monsanto doesnt live in CO

Jennifer Yates, a member of Parents for a Healthy Colorado, says, “There was rumor of a proposed 10,000-square-foot store, grow and MIPS (Marijuana-Infused Products) operation to be built 300 feet from my house. This site is in the walking path of a middle school.”

“Our city council and officials kept saying there is no application for this site, but I found a pre-application [after searching for the address]. I presented it to council Monday night and they finally admitted that this information is correct. It’s just frustrating that our elected leaders seemed to be dodging and dismissing what was really about to happen on that property.” It turns out the proposed site will not be for a MIP.

EDIT

I reverse searched based off the email address she uses... she made a post in communication with someone on the linkedin page which is why it came up.
the phone number I have from the Parent Teacher Association 2012-2013 is accurate.

better time spent would be sending an email in FAVOR of adding PTSD to the list of qualifying conditions for medical cannabis to:
[email protected] (will remain on public record & the state wont protect your privacy so BE SAFE what email address you use! or C4 might give u a call  )
AND
[email protected] (just to jab back at)

No rec shop near 16th street sells cleanclones. 16th street is a shithole. Go to Broadway and try Mile high green cross. Natural remedies is near 16th street but I don't think they sell clones. Best meds in the area though

my brother was in town a few weeks and and tried buying seeds and they said they won't sell seeds or clones unless you have a CO id.

Indeed. It makes sense, but it's kind of like buying fireworks eh? Illegal some places legal elsewhere but they don't give a shit about state id's.

for like the 1000th time; :tiphat:
green man cannabis sells rare dankness seeds, they have a location on santa fe near the king soopers that is walking distance from 16th street mall (go to the denver diner, keep going west, past speer, then turn left on santa fe, green man is in a lil strip mall type place on the west side of the road, just south of burger king)
last i heard they sold even on rec side; duno about the id thing.

also there is a thread here on icmag about colorado dispensaries and the availability of seeds within the state

While I was visiting CO I could not buy seeds at all. Didnt even get to see any clones in any shops. There was a clear distinction made between co residents and out of towners. We had a whole seperate area to shop in. I kept turning around like "I want that right there". They were all "dont worry about over there thats medical"

As an visitor to the state looking for genetics, I was rather disappointed.
