Hi Colorado growers.
I am new grower with minimal experiance. I live outside USA. My friend lives in Colorado. He is willing to send me some seeds. You tell me wich strains and where to get them. I'll try to provide as much info as possible about my grow conditions.
Regardless to say I prefer something easier since I don't have much experiance. I grow using flourecent lamps for the first month (seedlings and clones) and then veg a bit more under MH and HPS and then bloom under the same. Don't have much room. Maybe 4 squere meter. I also have a small garden. So I have the option of throwing some plants outside. Since its too late for this season to pop seeds I was thinking about auto-flowers outdoor in the future.
So what strains you think suits my conditions.
Oh I also like more indica relax kind of high. Taste is not a priority for me but THC level is. I want something potent and easy to grow for a first timer.
Thanks guys

It's quite difficult to go out and buy seeds in Colorado. Most people either trade or gift seeds. There are only a handful of shops that sell seeds and they will consist of Rare Dankness and Reserva Privada Colorado. I know a lot of breeders that work through facebook....one of my new favorites is Pollen Nation. Just a team of 2, they are both super polite and standup folks. You'll find anything from F1-F4 hybrids. Other than that you're best option is to order online. Unless you know people really well in the pollen chucking or breeding scene the best genetics available to you will be from online seed banks.

Had this picturesque evening in my high altitude plot recently, up over 9000'. Anyone else growing in the mountains?

I'm considering doing some new seed runs after a few years of pollen chucking retirement, just a matter of rebuilding my male library at this point really.

I'm always in the shadows, fucking bitches and making money, just as my lord and savior Spider-Man taught me.

Know what...

To celebrate my return, I hereby issue The Pepsi Challenge to any and all amongst my friends here at IC who are willing to take it!

What is a Pepsi Challenge you ask? Well, much like the commercial campaign of old, two equivalent products are presented to a sampler without labels, who then choses his or her favorite based only on the experience of consumption.

In my Pepsi challenge, we each select one of our best flower or concentrate types, label them anonymously, and submit them to a neutral party for judging.

The exact procedure would need to be worked out to ensure neutrality, but i'm guessing we would set our taste test for a time in the future where we will have a large group of smokers available such as a competition or festival, we would arrive at the festival, label our prospective samples, then hold some type of raffle or other random means for selecting our samplers, so that the grouping is composed naturally, hopefully with both veteran and new smokers in the mix to ensure diversity.

We are playing for Adventure Time stakes, the winner shall be known as the "Cool Guy", and the loser shall be known as the "Dweeb". They shall share a victory drink using chalices that denote their new status.

Any takers? :p

Hey all…

So I'm finally getting ready to start my first, real, extended-count, grow here in the great state of Co…

I'm looking for Landraces or old-skool crosses like Juicy Fruit (Thai x Afghani). Would that be termed an original F1 cross? Or perhaps that term is too broad?

Or anyone growing any Ace or RSC gear right now?

Hope everyone is having a great, green summer…

Thnks

I'd be interested...

On a side note, could whoever pop into my new thread to drop some knowledge on an outdoor newb? Time is always an issue. Many thanks in advance.

Will definitely have to be planned, so everyone can present samples of impeccable ripeness and cure :)

We should pick an event that gives everyone time to finish and cure a harvest for the challenge, something say at least 30 days from the day we all shout "GO!"

Oh, just got some concentrate delivered :)

Standard stuff from the trim run.

Crossing fingers, if things work out, looking at prohibition prices for my herb again, 3200+ per lb!

A state creates cannabis laws, and requires people working in the industry to go through background checks and maintain legal procedures.

In this state, a person is hired for a position within a grow facility, with the understanding that this facility is attempting to obtain a license. Law allow for operations with pending licenses, so this person accepted the position.

A couple months later, no progress has been made on obtaining the license, and it seems that in fact the owner of the business has no real intention of legalizing his grow.

The worker leaves his position and asks to be cashed out, but the owner refuses to pay his wages, two months worth.

The worker attempted to obtain the wages, only to be met with aggression, forcing the worker to call the police for help as a last resort.

The worker intends to file a full report with the city about the illegitimate operation.

He did this for multiple reasons:

1. Yes, he's mad about not being paid.
2. He does not want other legitimate industry employees to fall prey to this cheat.
3. He feels an obligation as a member of the legal industry to report a warehouse sized illegal grow.

Is this worker a "snitch" or a "whistleblower"? Why?
