Good luck to all you front range growers out there. I worry for everyone's safety with how crazy this weather has been lately. We had slight flooding in the Highlands yesterday. Sloans lake is 2 blocks from my dwelling place and it's already about to spill over onto the streets. The manhole on the street in front of my house was rattling and almost burst last night and I thought that was a bad storm.....it seemed to be just a precursor. The motherload is about to hit us. I feel for all those who lost their homes and running water 2 yeas ago.....it's about to happen again. Thoughts are going out to you guys.

Check it

Seems like we may have a 2-3 day break starting Monday, but then it might start back up again. Prepare for the inevitable..

It's interesting how extreme weather changes & renews the West. The extreme winter of 1886-87 annihilated cattle herds all over the northern plains, but all the moisture & a wet summer allowed cottonwood seedlings to get their taproot down into the aquifers in places where they don't usually survive. All of the large old lone cottonwoods (out in the middle of nowhere, dry plains) date from 1887. This season may mark the beginning of another cycle of that.

any of you use an evaporative cooler instead of ac?? what size and for how big an area?

We have one that does the whole house. When it's not blocked off for winter, I vent the heat from the grow light outdoors w/ two stage cooling, helps keep the house cooler. Here in dry climate CO, air cooled grows generally benefit from more humidity. I put a humidifier on the furnace for winter when indoor humidity can be ridiculously low.

One thing to note w/ evap coolers is that they only work well by pushing cooled air thru the house- you have to let air out to get it in. They also don't work well when the air is already laden w/ moisture.

They're cheap to run & easy to maintain, however. Just don't have one installed on a steep pitched two story roof like my neighbors. It takes balls of steel to get up there & service it every year, so the new neighbors just quit using it...

They said they were unable to test private samples due to current contract obligations(med /rec backlog)
But they refereced me to a co, upstairs in the same building

Are you caring for someone that needs access to medicinal marijuana? The quality of medicine you provide is an essential factor when considering the health and safety of a loved one. It’s important to be aware of THC potency or the possible presence of pesticides, molds, or bacteria in your medicine. Experientia can give you peace of mind by providing accurate results quickly and at an affordable cost.

Medical Marijuana Patients

If you rely on cannabis to treat a medical condition, it’s important to know what’s really in your medicine. Our process can detect the presence of harmful molds, bacteria, or pesticides in cannabis flower and expose any traces of residual solvents in cannabis oils, wax, or other concentrates. We can provide a thorough and scientifically accurate analysis of the cannabis products you rely on to ensure your ongoing health and safety.
