If outdoor growing is actually illegal in CO, then there must be a statute specifically prohibiting such.
Hopefully it's not illegal...

Looking good CaliGabe.

Heading up to take a hike near Evergreen today. GOing to find some lush vegetation to cultivate some indigenous microorganisms. Going to set up one of these at Sloans Lake as well.

Thx. Dude for my next tea going down into the canyon on the back 40 and dig up a variety of plants in the field to make a tea. Since the soil micro beasties are totally acclimated to this area and elevation they should rock. For sure I need to add some native soil to my soil mix.

I had the chance to select from 20 AK47 x Cheese babies so took these 2. Thought they were similar yet after a week in new pots totally different phenos. My friend had everything bottle necked in 1/2 gallon pots. Probably will kill the one on the left which is expressing the old cherry cut of AK. Very prone to powdery mildew. Good smoke though!

Anyway still figuring what to plug in my mounds.

Instead of the AK47 leaning pheno will replace with the 2 clones top which are Ape Shit. NO powdery mildew problems, finishes before Sept 28, easy to trim and pretty darn good smoke. Got a Double Grapefruit clone shining amongst another batch of clones.

Happy solstice!

Amazing what a good foliar treatment will do. Gave them their first this morning using a basic Advancing Eco Agriculture program of Sea Stim, Rejuvenate, PHT Calcium and Sea Shield. Adding AEA's Photomag, PHT Phosphorous and Humacarb to the regiment soon as the order arrives along with some Calcium 25. Waited for the roots to fill out the pots and the soil go dry the first time before starting to push them. The AK leaning pheno really perked up! At the least I washed all the UT dust off . Tomorrow they should be really rocking!

Also fed them a strong tea this morning...

Hey people, just checking in from Denver .Got my first little grow going and hoping to harvest in about 3-4 weeks.besides rare dankness and reserva privada seeds are there any others locally ? I would be curious to move on from these bag seed genetics at some point .thanks !

Also , is there a website for Colorado growers ? That looks like it might be of some use to us all !

Locally not really, it's mostly fly by nights who are selling bag seeds or relabeling bulk seeds they purchased, only occasional dispensaries carry seeds at all, so there's not really enough business being done here to attract the attention of anyone who might actually have their breeding facilities here in CO.

Rare dankness and RP have breeding facilities here then I presume ? I almost rather order seeds from a place where a known source is surely known then buy some relabeled seeds for a markup just because it is local .

I cannot speak authoritatively to it, but I think some legal minutiae may have changed in reference to seeds which will be resolved in the latter part of this year. RiverRock had a bunch of RD seeds in April that have not so suddenly disappeared. There is a place in Louisville called Centennial Seeds that could offer some wonderful strains if given the opportunity to sell to the public. Again, not certain, but I think that opportunity may be coming in the fall.

I've stopped paying $40+ for 5 seeds anymore. Can't bring myself to it. There are better genetics out there for free. If you are popping RD seeds be prepared to buy at least 30 ($300 worth of seed) because every strain they put out carries 25+ phenotypes. I have a buddy who is good friends with them and they pop hundreds of seeds every time to find 1 phenotype and then market that as their strain. RD = poop.

Colorado genetics: Donkey Kong (OriginKid Banana OG x Deathstar) bred by MrGoodBudz.

tied her down for a month or so and she's now got about 11 leads. Bushy as hell and just flipped the room into flower today. Can't wait to start seeing her flowers!

I hope you're right. Seeds are not psychoactive, not intended for consumption, so basically anybody should be able to produce & sell them in-state, whether they have a marijuana license or not. Stanley Stoner should be able to sell seeds from his legal basement grow on Craigslist.

Does anybody sell rooted clones at the retail level? Imagine buying them at Paulino Gardens, right along with tomato & pepper seedlings...

I am hereby posting in this thread as a superstitious act intended to somehow make it possible for me to move to Colorado. Maybe by posting here it will somehow help me to manifest that reality. The more I see how the cannabis laws were written into the state constitution, the more I realize how close to perfect you guys got it. I want to move there and do my part to contribute to the economy there, to pay my taxes there, to be a part of that world.

Don't worry, commercial growers, I'm not coming out there to take part in the gold rush, lol. I have a career that I love, and it has nothing to do with cannabis, so I won't be competing with anyone. I just want to find a job in my field, and start pumping my money into the Colorado economy instead of the one where I am right now.

It is far from perfect here. When being at the forefront of a new idea, laws are vague and have many loopholes. Some for the better some for the worse. i moved out here just under 2 years ago and I love it. Let the politicians do their worst while the cannabis culture enjoys itself. Laws or no laws, pot is going nowhere in Colorado, it's part of the people's lives here. Not only that, but we are the Napa Valley of beer with over 200 amazing microbreweries. I love good weed and good beer. Makes life easier.
