Plant count on paper is never the problem. I have a cancer patient and a few others with permanent debilitating issues. I'm definitely on the radar. Can I split some of my caregiver plant count? I will follow the rules and as always appreciate your valuable insight Jhhnn!

Thank you for that. I really have no experience with the whole med scene. I grew indoors long before there was MMJ, left the scene entirely for 25 years, came back with retirement & A64. It's a long story.

I hate to see good people end up with a bad rap. Sometimes people have gaps in their perception, get blindsided, so I try to remind everybody of that, avoid problems.

LEO's are meticulous note takers with digital memories. Clickety-click, tap, tap, <Enter> and there it is, chapter & verse as far back as it started. Nicely cross referenced with keywords & all the rest of it. We're not in the 60's anymore, Toto. They sure as Hell aren't.

So stay tight, you hear?

Just saw on TV. All the state 'Regulatory' agencies are fighting to expand their budgets....

Wondering how/why CDOT supposedly has to 'give away' Hiway 36, because of lack of funding......

But we need more cops, city attorney's, etc????????

I'm thinking our infra structure is more urgent than those. Or am I just being 'uninformed'????

Maybe 'we the people' need to remind these people who's paying the bills?

In all fairness. The piece was about Denver funds... but that is a huge chunk of the revenues collected.

I guess Denver doesn't have any roads or bridges that need attention?

Does that equal taxation, without representation?

3 cop cars at every traffic stop in Aurora.

Bicycle cops sweep through public parks to ticket people.

We have plenty of cops, fix the damn potholes.

I can tell you there's bridges in Denver I wont even drive on.... with 5 years ago re-bar sticking out.... as that re-bar gets wet, rusts, and expands... cracking the concrete... and a plaster job wont do shit but hide that... some of this shit needs to be completely tore down and re-done. But noooo. we need pot cops instead... I honestly believe the ONLY reason for legalization was revenue generation without raising taxes.... I would not be surprised if the next attempt was to get A20 get dropped entirely so they can hit us all with A64's tax rates

Luckily there's $5.8 million for a "statewide marijuana education campaign." I just hope they begin with bio methods and land-race genetics because hydro and hybrid can be too complicated for newbies, IMO (lol)

heard a new sac size at a shop this morning ~ the "half eighth" lol...don't know why I think that's so funny...maybe its just the Golden Goat in the sac

from: http://www.thedenverchannel.com/new...ue-to-youth-drug-prevention-education04222014
"DENVER - Colorado will save most of its marijuana tax money but spend some $23 million on school nurses and drug treatment and outreach. That's under a bill approved by a panel of legislative budget-writers Tuesday.

The plan calls for delaying pot spending by a year. That means that instead of projecting tax collections, as most budgets are done, Colorado will spend only the marijuana tax dollars it has in hand. The delay is prompted by concerns that the new recreational marijuana industry could produce highly volatile tax collections for the first few years.

Instead of projecting pot taxes, Colorado lawmakers are poised to spend some $23 million already in hand. The largest awards go to programs for youth drug prevention. There's also $5.8 million for a "statewide marijuana education campaign.""

So basically they're going to piss it all alway in the name of political correctness.

Why so sour?

Negotiated settlements are the product of compromise. A64 is just that. Whatever they do with the tax money, it's worth it to end the marijuana war here in CO.

What it boils down to is that we won but we have to pay for the privilege. It's a bargain, a helluva deal not available anywhere else in this country or in the ROTW, either.

For personal growers, there's no downside at all, no taxes on legally growing your own. The upside is huge, even for people who don't follow the rules. Other than being ratted out, most of the telltales that got growers busted no longer apply. The med game is still there, too, for anybody who wants to play it.

I was just hoping that our elected officials would do something other than spend money trying to repeal A64.

It appears that they are looking to put all the $s gained into Admin., LEOs, and Propaganda. Which further translates into Prisons, and additional 'Jack Boots'.

I'm very disappointed in our state government..... as well as the Federal Government. Hoping they will wake up before it gets too much further down the road. From the news I see. It looks like the people on the fringe of reality, are starting to jump off?

On a brighter note the River is clearing, and the Girls in the shed (GH) are looking good. Yeah!

Just seems like a big waste of money that could be better spent elsewhere, Jhhnn.

2 Legal Co stated it well, but compare the reception of the recent "green" industries in CO. Wind and solar, which are cash takers in the form of state and federal subsidies and higher rates on your energy bill, get accolades and warm fuzzy press about how wonderful they are.

The cannabis industry, a cash maker, has to continue fighting the demonization from politicians who are afraid to endorse it (Tancredo being the exception), LEO who are pissed about it, and the news media who love a gory story with a cannabis angle.

CSP's poster boy for driving while high on cannabis was riding a .268 BAC and ganja got the blame.

Sour? Could say that I guess, just kind of fed up with hypocrisy I think.

No one gets to be a wide open wild west shooting gallery except California... oh no, i'm so jealous.

Taxing something into the ground results in moonshine, deregulation mostly gives us excess in this country, i'll take Revenue men over the DEA any day.
