Yes 3 weeks is to long Dave, that is one solid bud mate, I cant believe what you achieve with those plants. I need a few lessons thats for sure. Awesome Thai just awesome.
Tangwena

No more 3 week hiatus's anymore. I'm thinking of a weekly Sunday Update. Shouldn't be too difficult to stick to that schedule specially if I know people are expecting or looking forward to one.

If you think the buds at day 98 looked good wait till you see the pics I managed to upload from my phone. Go scrappy camera phone! Gypsy Nirvana Thai stick G is gonna leave your draw dropping to the floor. Even got some TSE pics too!

There's no magic behind what I do with these ladies. I buck the trend and supply alot of N during flowering. I also use a suction lysimeter to monitor fertility levels on a daily basis if I wish. With that info I'm better able to maximize their potential. Get yourself one and see how such a simple tool can revolutionize your garden.

Thanks for the love and praise. I'll try to keep more pics coming of these wonderful Thai for all my Thai lovers.

Hmm how do I reply without sounding like a giddy fanboy?!? Got to play it cool or I'll scare him away. ;). Heh.

It's a true treat to have you Grace my thread Gypsy Nirvana. It's great to have you back on the boards. I'm stoked youre enjoying the thread. Now I really got to be on time with those updates. I can't disappoint the guy who the seeds are named after and who made it possible for me to enjoy and share with the world. Rough life....lulz.

To welcome you to the thread im enjoying some 4 month jar curried buds of TSG and loving it. These Thai are excellent for putting your mind in the right state of mind. Joyous uplifting energetic highs. Should come with warning 'don't consume after 9 pm if you want to fall asleep anytime soon.'

Stay tuned for some Thai pics.

I'm really hoping for something wonderful. Gonna be a real blast to grow them out. I do have 6 seeds made from nanner pollen that hit up TSA. I may start them soon so we can get an idea of what were in store for down the line.

I'm working toward more purple bud pics for you all. The cameras phone doesn't work well with bright lights. Still looking into getting something better.

Welcome back Heady B. Good to have you.
I've not made any concentrates other than grinder hash. I've been meaning to use a jar of tsa to make dry sift. I'll get there soon and share some pics of it. I'm mostly a dry sift kinda guy.

So do you use a standard soil test kit for NPK using the water from the suction lysimeter? You know this whole time I thought you had a resivoir when you mentioned fertility numbers. Thanks for this tip!
:thank you:

No npk kits used. I've considered sending extracted samples off to labs to be tested, but tbh it's not quite necessary. I use my bluelab combo Meter to measure ppm levels. Plant observations and hundreds and hundreds of recordings of soil solution fertility levels has allowed me to figure out ideal fertility levels for my plants. Which typically is 1500-1750ppm in veg. Similar in flower too.

Sorry I wasn't more clear before. I'm gonna do a post on suction lysimeters soon with detailed instructions on how to use and how they can benefit your garden.

Sweet, thanks! I found one on Amazon, it should be here tomorrow. I have a pH, ppm meter and just ordered the NPK kit too. Looking forward to the details. :thank you:

I'm glad you're enjoying the thread. It pleases me :).
Poisonous stick has a nice ring to it. Makes it sound ominous, but I'd like to pay homage to the original.

How I've loved watching this thread go. These ladies have been the stars of a few of my dreams haha. But as I was looking back through the beginning of the thread, I saw how you mentioned some of your haze hybrids in the freezer.

How sweet it would be to see some fine Nevils Haze specimens growing next to these lovely Thai and Durban ladies

Well a guy can dream right lol, but in all seriousness this has been one of my favorites, if not my favorite thread to follow. Not many put in the time to do it like you do, and I hope to be in that very select crowd sooner rather than later. You're a huge inspiration friend :tiphat:

Epic..:noway: You and Sour Dank are way too kind. Ive always felt like Ive neglected the thread and community here too often, and can and should be doing more here. Your words inspire me to post more often. Its a pleasure sharing my garden with people who enjoy it as much as I do. Its not like I can invite people over to check out my nice plants IRL. Thank you ICMAG for giving me this avenue to share my garden with curious minds.

Poisonous stick has a nice ominous ring to it. Could be a good alt name/slang for it. I could see people's eyebrows peaking when they hear something like that. Id like to pay homage to the original name though.

There will definitely be some future plants shown of that cross. Ive got 6 or 7 already ready to go. Perhaps I should start them this sunday? :dunno:

You helped make my night with your kind words SourD. :tiphat: Expect lots more beautiful ladies to showcase this thread to haunt your dreams.

I hope you dont mind them pregnant, because I really dusted the ladies with lots of pollen a few days ago, and Im seeing seeds forming all over TSG and the others.

I grabbed my male and shook him violently releasing a huge cloud of pollen and then the oscillating fan blew it all over my ladies. It was rather magical watching the cloud of pollen swirl above and around my ladies. I cut off the fan and allowed it to fall on them, and soon Ill be swimming in loads of seeds. Im so excited to start growing them out in the near future.

I may be able to squeeze some Nevil's Haze in there. Ive always wanted to do a Haze Off. Sam's HazeSkunk, Sam's Thunk(ThaiHaze xSkunk), Mr. Nice SkunkHaze, Nevil's Haze, and some G13 Haze freebie that is of questionable reputation. Having grown out Mango Haze before and being able to compare it to Sam's HazeSkunk, I think the scales lean in Sams direction, but should I do it. Ill definitely chronicle it here. Why deliver just Nevs Haze, when I could do it all?

I wasn't aware I was in a select crowd. hehe. Thanks. Im just trying to grow some fine looking ladies and process them the right way(Thanks Tang). Then share them with anyone who has a love for Sativas, which seems to be more people out there than anyone would have though. You think I forgot about you lurkers? Oh I haven't. I sense you in the shadows where you think its safe...

I meant maintaining that regular pace in the updatings regarding flowering periods of 5 / 6 months +curing time is really very rare on MJ boards. mucho respect....

HAZE OFF?!? Don't tease with that haha, it would be something to see you doing all those hazes side by side. I don't know if I'd ever leave IC, I'll just sit on the last page of your thread hitting refresh repetitively like a crazy person.

i can't wait to see how these hybrids come out, especially giving the genetics those little beans will be holding :woohoo: who doesn't love sativas?! Looking forward to seeing what comes from those brother

Understood. It's real easy to get lax and stop doing updates on something that takes forever to finish. Got to be easier doing updates on ladies that take half as long to flower.
