May God give you strength pipeline as the hordes of heathens descend upon you with hateful, lewd and heretical foaming of the mouth. I recognize most of these brainiacs from the 'I hate Trump' threads. Throw in Jews/Israel too.

That Ezekial 23 was a humdinger! I was made to read most of the bible twice in school but do not remember reading that part. Likely they did not require it or the begets parts. Old Testament is best Testament!

'God's Chosen People' - says it all really - SUPREMACISM - As if they are saying that all the rest of us are trash and consigned to the fires of hell because we were not 'Chosen by God' -

In the new covenant, because of the work of Jesus, anyone has the choice to repent of their sin, ask God for forgiveness, and point their hearts, priorities, and intentions toward God and His purposes. We are all chosen people! Its beautiful!

I can see the love of Jesus in you, Gypsy! Gonna send in some Deep Chunk Crosses for the forum server fund soon! Thanks for the discussion! Its alright to ask questions. Have a good one!

What if we feel like we are not 'Sinners?' -

What if we feel like we can lead our own lives righteously and consciously without the intervention of any God, prophet or deity at all?

Since I have lived my life without the need for invisible wizards in the sky so far - I very much doubt that I will need them in the future -

Why does the desert Christian God assume all of it's creations are sinners and morally weak?

This sounds more like politics to me.

Why are it's followers some of the most vial and evil beings I have ever come across?

I find it natural to live without the Christian definition of sin.

Why is a god in league and reliant upon his potential nemisis?

Again, this seems to be political in nature.

Why do natural laws seem to contradict the essence of a desert god and it's supposed scriptures?

Perhaps he works in mysterious ways?

I think the old testament was more a way to manage people that operated in primitive fashion. Not so much divine inspiration imo. Slavery was in vogue, killing and capturing other tribes was common. So the bible tried to manage a bunch of wild creatures, putting fear or guilt into their brains.

Why there is guilt or empathy in the human brain is a question. Maybe God in action? Really no other animal suffers much or any of guilt on hurting other creatures.

On heaven, I have a problem accepting it as it seems certain that modern humans are the result of a bunch of more primitive versions of humans. Do the lesser or earlier prototypes get a basic heaven, while modern humans get the deluxe model?

On the question of slavery and killing or capturing opposing tribes, back in the days of the old testament, this was just the way things were. If the bible were to say no killing, stop being tribal, taking prisoners, etc., it would likely just get ignored I think. They threw as many restrictions on natural inclinations as they thought they could get away with. Or God actually did talk to them. Again, where is the basis of wanting to be fair to others? Is that God?

First paragraph: dude, I didn’t say you *knew* about it - just that your imagination is talking...since rape is one of the LEAST-reported crimes, your lack of knowledge isn’t a strong foundation for your opinions about who it happens to and how often.

Second paragraph: thanks for the backhanded bs shield...doesn’t cover much...

Third paragraph: if you haven’t had YOUR OWN experience of the whole child-support situation, you’ve got nothing of substance to say. The fact is, many men are NEVER identified as fathers, so they pay nothing, rape or no rape. A man who acknowledges his children must in fact pay to support them; a man who will not almost never pays unless there a paternity test, and even then, men today have an easier time evading parental responsibility than the women they impregnate, aided by changes in laws and the significantly higher income paid to men over women.

If your women friends don’t share such personal and shaming stories with you, they probably reckon you’ll minimize it, blame them, and support the man instead..

I've witnessed women scream rape then claim it never happened..... So is it really the least reported or the most falsely reported? Hell I know a woman who said her man touched her daughter the daughter never said it happened and the woman fucked the guy several times since. Woman are pretty crazy to say the least. I personally think she lied to get the man falsely imprisoned as a child molester, why else would she still be fucking the guy?

Also if the woman doesn't know who the father is after consensual sex, well that sir, is a whore. The state will still help and yet again many people still can't have children and would love to adopt a baby. My wife actually gave her first child up for adoption cause she was 15 years old at the time, she still sees pictures and hears about him.

Why do you act as though adoption is not a good option? I think it's a better option than abortion myself.

As mentioned in my previous post Armageddon and Gog and Magog are in my best estimation, one and the same. The previous possible battle involved to lock up Satan, the beast and the false prophet for 1000 years is more like a minor skirmish compared to the final battle/war where the nations from every quarter of the earth gather to attack 'the beloved city'. Their numbers are as numerous as 'the sand of the sea' This sounds to me like Armageddon to me and the use of Magog and Gog relates it to Ezekiel.

Herein lies the debate because some say that the Gog and Magog battle in Ezekiel limits which nations are involved, however this seems disputed by the author's statements;

38; 22 And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.

39-4 Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the people that is with thee

*********************
Not that I believe it will come to fruition unless carried by fanatic Christians but that's my take.
There are two battles talked about, as you mentioned.

Based on the timeline of the bible: gog and magog describes the nations who initially attack christ at his return on the mount of olives before the 1,000 year reign, and also the people whom satan deceives into trying to attack again at the time after the 1,000 year reign.

My question for you is, what does the bible say is happening during the 1,000 year reign? Obviously the ones who were chosen for the first resurrection will be in their spiritual bodies, but who are these people who satan is released to deceive?

Once you answer this question and see there is another great multitude during this time who is born and raised, then you could possibly see that there would be a greater battle at the end of the 1,000 year reign that we are not told much about except the excerpt you gave before about magog and gog.

We are given a number of 200 million who attack jerusalem at the time of jesus' return to the mount of olives - meaning a vast majority of people have died because we have about 7 billion (??) alive today. However, it obviously states that the 6th trump is when the euphrates is dried up for the battle of armageddon - meaning it is before the 7th trump or any time of peace on earth comes.

Acts 5:22-32 NKJV

Apostles on Trial Again

22 But when the officers came and did not find them in the prison, they returned and reported, 23 saying, “Indeed we found the prison shut securely, and the guards standing [d]outside before the doors; but when we opened them, we found no one inside!” 24 Now when [e]the high priest, the captain of the temple, and the chief priests heard these things, they wondered what the outcome would be. 25 So one came and told them, [f]saying, “Look, the men whom you put in prison are standing in the temple and teaching the people!”
26 Then the captain went with the officers and brought them without violence, for they feared the people, lest they should be stoned. 27 And when they had brought them, they set them before the council. And the high priest asked them, 28 saying, “Did we not strictly command you not to teach in this name? And look, you have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this Man’s blood on us!”
29 But Peter and the other apostles answered and said: “We ought to obey God rather than men. 30 The God of our fathers raised up Jesus whom you murdered by hanging on a tree. 31 Him God has exalted to His right hand to be Prince and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins. 32 And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him.”

Here's what God's Word says! John is a good place to start when looking at what followers of Jesus believe.

John 1 New King James Version (NKJV)

The Eternal Word

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not [a]comprehend it.
John’s Witness: The True Light

6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 This man came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all through him might believe. 8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. 9 That[b] was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world.
10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. 11 He came to His [c]own, and His [d]own did not receive Him. 12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the [e]right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
