I posted the bible verse in the Anything outdoor thread in response to PDX. I explained myself I guess! Its good to share the truth, we have to give God credit! God is so good to us! God is a saving God!

Or how about Numbers 31, where God commands the Israelites to attack Midian and kill all the men, all the married women and all the male children but to keep the virgin females as the spoils of war and distribute them among the soldiers. How many are distributed to hungry soldiers? 32,000 girls.

Yeah they're some wild stuff that's gone on with God's chosen people. The hebrew/jewish part of the bible is the old testament and there were great hebrew kings, and also some tough times and sinful decisions. God was there through it all. The new testament covers the new treaty we enter into with God where when we repent of our sins and live in a right way for God.
The bible helps me discover the truth. I keep an eye out for God's guidance.

Good question,but I wonder also why it is that when a whacadoodle kills a pregnant woman he/she is charged with TWO counts of murder ?

I'm not sure where you get your info but that is definitely not the case. If a pregnant woman is murdered it is a more serious charge than murder of a non-pregnant person, but the murderer is not charged with TWO murders.
