Finally my plants are sexing.....I don't want to go overboard and start considering what I see as absolute, most of the plants have very premature preflowers, and my plant sex guessing is disastrous when premature preflowers are involved. They'll be starting 12/12 tomorrow so we shall see soon!

At the moment I have 1 female Mango, of which I'm 100% sure, she's the only one with pistils coming out of the preflowers. I have one other Mango that I'm guessing female, the other two I'm not even going to try guessing for now. The Master Kush is looking to be male....bummer, but hey, there was only one seed planted. Still, not sure about that. A possible Chocolate Chunk female, and also the Puna Budder, possible female....

The above not to be taken too seriously, more concrete info will be forthcoming shortly :wink:

these are the other one, which im not so bothered about, and typical, doesnt appear to be affected by the phantom beaning.
Id luv to know where that bastard pollen cam e from????? no males, the Tsunami male was dead long before it got a chance to, and was only in veg, same deal with the suoerfruitX blueberry too. So, Im at a loss.
anyway, just wanted to leave those pics for ypu blue.

Farmer John, I have another Mango with preflowers indicating a female, though I'm not yet 100% sure...its the sativa pheno plant, here she is!

Didn't pay much attention to the lighting when I took the pics, sorry...did a bit of partying yesterday evening and didn't feel much like doing more than a point and shoot photo session this morning:wink:

Mo, I'm going to waer this avatar for a while, but now I have a few others to play with when I get sick of this one. JSG made this one for me from my pic.

The extra leaf deal is very cool, too bad this Master Kush is looking to be a possible male, I wanted to see if the plant would form buds in the center of the leaves...happens once in a while with these extra fingered buggers .

and finally here's the Chocolate Chunk, this is one beauty of a plant....the pics don't do her justice because of the lighting being off, but the leaves are blue-green, shiny as hell, super serrated, looks like a bread knife along the edges, pronounced leaf overlap, very unusual and pretty plant:

Yea the Lifesaver actually formed little buds at the center of the leaf during 12/12. Mel Frank says in his book that the plant is extremely confused, Bog has a story behind it also. I don't believe the Mel Frank story because my plant was very healthy with no hermie characteristics at all. So who know's really, just a genetic trait.

got another female today....the LUI , while master Kush's preflowers are leaning more heavily towards the testosterone side of things , I'll know for sure soon enough.

so now we have one Mango and the LUI identified...hoping on the Puna Budder and Chocolate Chunk, the other two "loner" strains aside from the Master Kush and LUI.

Something tells me there's gonna be more than one female Mango :wink:

thanks for the nice words Calcio and Rolando :smile: The Puna Moose is sooooo nutty, she's starting to put out normal size fan leaves, up until now they were all quite small. She's also turning a darker green, used to be on the pale side....she's definitely kickin'! Oh how I hope this plant is female

Tomorrow pictorial update, flu permitting.....yes, I am once again plagued by fever, but hope since I've had it already so recently it won't be as violent as 3 weeks ago.

Once again.... I have been wanting to see what that Puna Bud can do. The talk is it just has a poor germination ratio... never know, that's why they call it "talk". Now, I've toked on some Puna from the H-islands and Lordy Lord! Kick ass bud, to put it plainly... the buzz is a stunner, as it knocks you for a long loop while the flavor had me asking for another toke... not smart ~ So, what I am trying to say is... thanks for running a tester of this stuff BV

Thanks for the wonderful words zep. The Puna seeds were most definitely a BITCH....this is the only plant which made it past the age of two days from a pack of 10. And she's mutant to top it off. I have never seen a start to finish grow thread of this strain anywhere...and I'm aiming to be the first if she gives me half a chance and decides to be the lady I raised her to be :wink:. Should know soon enough, she's been in 12/12 for three days now.

Glad to hear its high quality bud, I've never smoked it, but was very attracted by the Hawaiian genetics. I've decided that if its male I'm going to collect the pollen. Better start reading up on pollen storage :smile:

Small update today.

To begin with, my plants are sexing and finally I was able to make some space in that crazy jungle going on in my grow. I have removed one Mango male and the Master Kush, also male. The Mangos need repotting big-time...I've been having to administer iron supplements and epsom fairly regularly to keep them from suffering, but though they aren't losing any leaves at all, they do show a beginning of an iron def. Now that they're sexing and I'll be able to repot very shortly, these small problems will be resolved.

Here are the two males, I don't think I have to tell you which one is the Kush and which the Mango

The plants still in the grow are looking to be as follows:

3 Mangos - 1 suspected male, 1 100% female, 1 suspect female

Chocolate Chunk - 1 suspected male

L.U.I. - 100% female

Puna Budder - as yet i have no idea, she's just now putting out preflowers.
