Picture time kiddies!!!!

Here we go, now first off we have a shot of the Master Kush (left) and the more sativa leaning Mango, quite a beauty! She was trained for the first time yesterday, as was the Master Kush and the other Mangos.

Next up, we have the LUI at back left, the Chocolate Chunk at back right, and in the foregorund none other than the Puna Moose! The LUI and the Chunk are 12 days along, the Puna Moose is 20 days...runt!

And of course a spot all for her, the Moose....'cause she's ugly but she's the shiznit and she knows it :D

Fili you smoke too much and any algae which you see is in your brain and most certainly NOT in my pots. My soil mix is perfect, I water when my soil is almost dry (to the point that Canna when he comes over freaks out at how dry my soil is ), and I have low humidity in my grow. To top it off, I empty the little plates underneath the pots of any runoff water so whatever algae you see is growing on your frontal lobes, not in my pots.

The plants are different sizes simply becuase they are 1) all different strains 2) of different ages. The Mangos came up before all of the others, so theyr'e further along. All of the plants except for the Puna Budder mutant are perfectly on the spot for type of strain and number of days vegging. TIE' :bashhead:

Leeroy and HOG, yes the Puna Moose though somewhat strange is looking prettier. She has this weird triangular shape, but is starting to put out what looks like normally shaped leaves.

For those curious, I can't be sure yet but it seems the Puna Moose has all of THREE main colas....gonna keep watching her, but that's the impression I have for now :D

Hi Blue,Leeroy and every other friend in there ;)
Blue..are you shure about this new algae growing medium?
How the hell could they ever grow without nutes ;)?

I see everything is going nicely in your closet,my favourite plant is the sativa Mango, very nice and healty but also the little Master Kush is very nice, hope to see some buds of this strain as i haven't had any female when i grew it.
Is that the Master Kush from Dutch Passion i gave you ?
I remember it smells a lot even in veg,be prepared when you switch to 12/12,it could stink your house up in no time ;)

I have a lot of things to talk about when we meet (but only about growing..hehehe),i'm "studying" (aka:you inspired me ;) ) an idea about modular organic growing..as i wrote in one of my threads there's a lot of your style and technique in my growrooms now but maybe we could fine tune a bit the method..i'll explain everything next time we meet wich will be very early.
Have a nice day my friend and see you soon :)

LOL Canna :D That algae is the darndest stuff...I think I'm going to start cultivating algae as a sideline, I could sell it to people as Blue's CannaAlgae, won't get you stoned but you can wear it in your hair

That is indeed the Master Kush from Dutch Passion which you gave me, the last seed. Seems DP's Master Kush has the extra finger on the leaves trait, its happening with this one and happened with the other two you gave me. I will post pics of that later. She's not smelling yet, but the Mangos are just starting to smell a bit

This morning I'm going to repot the Puna Moose, Chocolate Chunk and the LUI....that LUI has the fattest leaves I've ever seen! She's short and squat, but the leaves are just sooooooooooo wide!

We will discuss growing and anything else you wish to discuss my friend

Buona giornata!

Back again as promised, here's the Master Kush, she has one extra finger growing out the middle of one leaf and two extra fingers on another....close examination of the new growth leads me to believe that she'll continue to carry this trait. The other two Master Kush's I planted in previous grows showed the same trait, but as they were both males they never got past vegetative growth before getting chopped, so I don't know if they would have carried this all the way through flower

thanks Farmer John! She sure is pretty. This strain has quite a unique leaf structure, extra fingers apart, her leaves are all overlapping. Hope for a female this time :D

Update time

Update time

Time for an update on all of the plants!

All of them are doing nicely, none of them have any problems at all. The smaller/youngest plants (Puna Budder, Chocolate Chunk and LUI) have been repotted three days ago. The Mangos were repotted 10 days ago or so, and received a first dose of epsom salts and an iron supplement this morning, more of a preventive measure as they don't exhibit yellowing.

The Mangos are starting to show preflowers. I'm curious because I did an experiment of progressive hours of light on the Mangos and the Master kush to see if it could influence male/female ratio.....of course this experiment will have to be repeated over several grows to have an idea as to whether it actually works or not....but ya gotta start somewhere
The above-mentioned four plants spent their first 4 days under the light at 12/12, after which I added an hour of light every day for 6 days to reach 18/6.

Now on to the plants:

The Master Kush, quite lovely, she's been trained. The extra fingers in the center of the leaves are quite visible, and the new growth is also showing this trait. We're at 24 days veg with this one

1562MasterKush24.jpg

Next up two shots of the Puna Moose...strange with an apparently random growth pattern, still no idea exactly how many main colas to expect. She's a bushy one for sure, and has a generally lighter shade of green when compared to the other plants, even though the Mango is also a bit paler green. She's at 24 days veg:

1562Puna24-2.jpg
1562Puna24-1.jpg

Next up we have the LUI (on the left) and Chocolate Chunk (on the right). the LUI has some absurdly fat leaves going on, both of these plants are at 16 days of veg.

1562LUI-Chunk-16.jpg

Now to the Mangos, they sure are pretty! The pic below is on the left the sativa pheno, and on the right the more balanced pheno, all of the Mangos have been trained. I still don't have any odor issues going on, but up close the Mangos have a very nice pungent fruity smell to them  We're at 24 days veg here, for both pics below. These two were pretty dry so the leaves aren't as perky as usual, I gave them water right after taking the pics

1562Mango24-1.jpg

And finally below we have the two heavy indica pheno Mangos, these plants are quite large (all of them) and these indica phenos have some seriously huge fan leaves....my grow is rapidly looking like a lush tropical jungle again, but at least a couple of Mangos show preflowers and soon I'll be able to cull the male(s)

1562Mango24-2.jpg

Have a nice day friends!

Hi blue,

They're looking real nice. I like that sativa mango pheno. Bet that's gonna be a winner. Might have a long flowering time though......assuming it's a female....fingers crossed.

G

same here Elvis, the sativa pheno is the prettiest of the three for her structure and leaf shape, unusual. She might just be special as out of the four she's the only one obviously leaning more towards sativa than indica...and I do love my sats :D. She can take as long as she wants provided she's done before I leave for 420

G

Guest

well...if she doesn't finish for 420 its no tragedy...I'll entrust her to the babysitter, along with my son....

I have more faith in his ability to take care of my son than my plants though....don't want NOBODY messing with my plants :D...I'll just make sure she has water before I leave and I'll menace the babysitter with castration if he so much as opens the grow doors :biglaugh: :biglaugh: :biglaugh:

I wanted to take a closer look at at some plants this morning, pulled out the Puna Budder, Master Kush and the LUI.

The Puna Moose just keeps on doin' her thang....she's very small for her 27 days of veg, but quite the bushy one...main cola? More than one:D. How many? Uhmmmmmm......

1562Puna_Budder27-2.jpg
1562Puna_Budder27-1.jpg

The Master Kush also is short and squat at 25 days veg....showing preflowers but still too premature to tell. She has a wonderful color to her, but the weird thing about her is all the extra fingers coming out of the center of the leaves

1562MasterKush25-2.jpg
1562MasterKush25-1.jpg

Last up the LUI...fattest and shiniest leaves I've ever seen, she's at 19 days veg. She is the more prissy of my plants, shows a low tolerance to pH variations and possibly she needs higher humidity, but all in all she's very healthy, just shows some leaf wrinkle

oh' yes!!...beautiful plants...I love those shiny leaves...It looks like your Puna put out more main colas than my Kush :chin:
