Kygiacomo!!!

kygiacomo I have the bangi going now out side . I have the f8 on ace site . there regular seeds have a high female rate out of 4 seeds I got 3 females. I am lurking for the fems to come out as well. I think I could only grow kali mist where I live. let us know how they do
i'll keep ya posted. i update my journal everday or two so i will for sure let u know. im gonna try that kali next year after speaking to Simon he said it would do great here bc of my lat he said i would be in Seville spain when u go st8 across the ocean, or somthing like that, and its got good mold resistance he says.
Hi flboy,

Hi Ky,
You sure are trying to maximize your yield with all the extra stuff you put on. I hope you have your best yr. yet. As you know I am not using anything but some fertilizer and some lime for PH. Although the sandy native soil that I mixed on site is largely made up of silica.
Oh I forgot to ask you Ky, when you started your serious 6 about how many daylight hrs where you getting in your area. Because yours went into flower, it will help to narrow down when they will start to flower for me.
Peace GG

hey Gg im trying to do all i can bro. last year was a nite mare for me with bud rot and im trying to make the plants as healthy as they can be before flowering starts so i will have minimal rot or at least thats the plan, but we all know mother nature dont like to follow our plan she does what she wants lol and i accept that since im just a visitor in her world.
The serious 6 i noticed it flowering on may 23th so it was about 14hr25min of daylight when i noticed it..i got 3 S6 left i will just wait till around 3rd week in april before i germ them for next year that way they shouldnt go st8 into flower until around middle july if they flower at 14hr25min next year.

So whats your plans ?? hauling in soil ???? do you also trek in water or is there water close by ?? you could bring in a barrel tie up some polly and direct it to the barrel . to collect rain water ...
I planted in ground pretty much same time as you but i dug down 3 - 4 feet and also raised bed and made 50 gallons of soil per plant

As for clearing it all up i advise not to really easy to spot come fall when there looking in the skies looking for weed patches :)
you got some work ahead of you getting them in the ground

as for mine putting first set of cages around them them then one more in about month or 2 there big bushes already and i am literally 60th parallel summer is not even here yet :)

Hey DrFever, thanks for stopping in. There will be no hauling in of soil. I dig a hole about 2' x 2' blend some dark native soil with some sand from the area, add a little lime and a hand full of blood meal. A couple holes got a different fertilizer a 4-8-4 organic mix or a 10-10-10 , just to compare. I will not be watering at all,if it doesn't fall from the sky the plants go dry. I'm doing this because of 2 things. First I'm getting old and the spot is remote. 2nd I'm testing the strains to find the strongest, best producing strain that can survive with little care. I'm breeding for a true Guerrilla strain so to speak.
Cheers GG

I am enjoying your thread gorilla, I tend to grow in big patches and fill em up I have had great success doing it this way they never find a full patch.Dont know if any of you guys have flown to look for weed but I have to look for my own and seen others that dont fill in the patch..if its full n green it all looks the same..here is a shot of the wolf island sativa in the black garbage can

the trick to gettin em off in a big patch is also in the strains you need stuff like this thats done before the rest of the foliage turn yellow.
one of my iranian auto crosses jun 11th nicely in bud

Cheers and good luck

Hello 1madtrapper, That Wolf Island is looking great. Did you start it indoors? How tall is it, hard to tell from a pic. You've diffidently got the North tuned in. All your strains are auto's right?

gorilla ganja- I started them inside put them outside in the grn house may 1st I think.I have only one full auto strain and it was a freebee. The Iranian auto isnt a real auto it will stay veging down to 22 hrs or so real nice. The wolf island they say will stay in veg at 20 hrs or above.I crossed the iranians to a IBL landrace pure afghani these seeds seem to be mainly semi auto aswell.I am about to make more wolf island sativa seeds aswell as cross the pure iranianauto to the wolf island see how that does. For the most part here in the northern part of the province I run semi's I used to run a strain called freezeland lost the pure strain but this year have some crosses of it goin aswell. In the southern part of the province I use regular photo's aswell as semi autos gets me two harvest. There i am running white widow 94, skunk 47, tutankhoman, silver haze, grn poison. The grn poison fast version actually finishes here at the 49th aswell.Cheers wishin yha the best.

I also crossed the iranian auto with erdpurts these have yet to be tested.but they are on there 4th set of leaves now so time will tell oon them.

gorilla ganja I topped twice so far but I think that will be all. I don't want them to tall but more round. the first time I topped them they were probably 1.5 ft tall and then about 3 ft witch was last week. they are about the same height just a little rounder. I also took the bottom few branches off for better air flow

Over all they look healthy. Less than 15 % leaf damage from insects, and no damage from deer or rodents. I bent the tops of most of them so hopefully they branch out. The weather calls for rain this weekend so I expect some nice growth next few weeks.
Anybody growing these strains outdoors or that has in the past, would love to hear about them or pics please.
Peace GG

Looking forward to seeing your results Gorilla, If you have some of the DP Durban Poison males I would try and save some pollen. If it's anything like their original release you'll be happy with the results.

Thanks for stopping in browntrout, No males of DP this yr. All females will be bred with Bangi Haze males, and maybe Tikal.

Thanks guys for watching my humble grow. So far with little care all plants seem to be doing fine.

Any problems with the serious 6? Lots of people are really pissed off at serious seeds because the strain is auto flowering on them

No problems at all. I think it will be a great strain for northern growers. I believe it starts to flower with less than 15 hrs of daylight which I don't get here for another month or so. If the seed companies would state the amount of light it takes to trigger flowering a lot of problems could be avoided.
It definitely is not full auto.
